1st Impressions

A FIRST RATE COMPANY! John was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all and any questions. His crew was also top notch. In one day our yard went from boring to WOW with regrading and hydroseeding along with all new landscaping.

John contacted me immediately about my needs. He also gave me great advice on other plans down the road like a patio. I felt that he really does landscaping as a passion and you can tell. He also came out to my home in the evening when my husband got home. I felt that was rare and far between. He even brought pictures of his other work and a magazine of other ideas even though we just wanted grass for now. I felt he was VERY prepared and very laid back and kind. It was nice to meet a professional that loves his work and values each customer whether the job is big or small.

Excellent company. Did a great job doing my patio and changing my landscaping in the front of house..John is very thorough in explaining everything he was going to do and also very nice. His staff was great to..I will use them again in the future..

John Sheluva, (1st impressions) exceded my expectations in all aspects of this project.He was able to work within MY budget, and delivered a much better end projecxt than I had envisioned!!! He is both proffessional and personable. His knowledge of plants and placement is extensive, and his willing to listen to an idea, and help adapt this idea to your space to optimize the beauty. Several of my neighbors have contracted him after thet have seen his end work on my project!!!

I had a drainage issue and John at 1st Impressions did exactly what he said he would. He pulled the required permits, had his plan approved by the city and explained in detail the work he would perform. When the work was complete, the cleanup was thorough and you would never have known that the yard was dug up.

Arrived early and worked in the rain. Would have liked better results, but the weather was the culprit.

After contacting 1st Impressions via this website, my phone rang 15 minutes later! John was so nice and scheduled my fall clean up for the following week. I got home from work on Monday to find my lawn clear of leaves and grass cut and edged. Super job!! His crew even found one of my dog's toys buried under the leaves and left it on my back patio. Thank you 1st Impressions for a great experience!!

John came out when he promised, was very knowledgable about my landscaping, and asked questions about my goals. He was very honest and direct and did exactly what he said he would do and then some! He and his team (Ted and Isaac especially) are great to work with. Always ontime and do a great job!

My experience with 1st Impressions couldn't have been better, they provided all the services they contracted for plus extra additions where they thought it would improve the project, all at no additional cost. John took alot of time explaining exactly how they were going to do the project , answered all of my many questions, and explained to me how to maintain my new lawn . I expected the project to take two days but was surprised when I come home from work on the first day and the job was finished.

They were very professional and very knowledgeable. I was amazed at how my landscaping looked and my patio that they put in. A Job very well done...

Only two of the recomended contractors called me. One only e-mailed me then I never heard from them again. One said he "didn't draw designs, just payed by ear." Only 1st. Impressions conducted hemself like a professional and followed up. He came out twice and took me to see previous work done by his company. He drew up a cohesive design and thus he got the job valued at about $25,000. I guess the others didn't need the work enough. The project is scheduled to commence July 27 2009.

John couldn't of picked a better name for his company. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his crew. Everything that he promised, was delivered.

They are very good company. They were very thorough. We have recommended them to other people.
