Description of Work: We left multiple messages to arrange for an estimate, but only got the message back after almost a week. We tried to call back again and no response.

Description of Work: Linda called us about an estimate. We ended up doing the job ourselves; but her phone call was invaluable to our job. She gave us a place to buy the flooring that was much cheaper than any where we had looked, she gave us pointers on how to do the job that were very helpful and she offered to send someone out if we go into trouble. A very sincere and helpful woman who appreciates customer service.

Description of Work: This was probably the BEST experience in home repair I've ever had. Beautiful ceramic tile floor installed in my bathroom. Absolutely A+ service, price and quality.

Description of Work: In April, they refinished hardwood floors in the living room, hallway, and 3 bedrooms in our newly purchased home. Everything I had read said that 3 coats of polyurethane was customary, so I was surprised that they finished in 2 days. When I asked, I was told it was decided that our floors didn't need 3 coats, but that they would do another coat for $375. They removed the closet doors in the bedrooms, then left without putting them back on and asked my husband to do it. I didn't think that was right. After trying, he wasn't able, so, after several phone calls and emails, they eventually came back and put them on. This left me with the impression that they were in a hurry to get to the next job and I'm not confident that the last coat wasn't left off because of that. When another company put some scratches in our living room floor in May, I contacted Linda to inquire what could be done. This led to a string of frustrating, back and forth emails. Finally, on June 27th, she said she'd drop some polyurethane off, because the kind they use is not available locally. After more frustrating, back and forth emails, she finally brought some over on October 7th (coincidentally the same day that Angie's List called me to ask for a report). Linda had a strange story about why she didn't bring the poly sooner, which was completely implausible. This has completely soured me on dealing with this company, even though the floors actually look pretty good.

Description of Work: L&L did a great job. They returned my first call promptly, sent a rep out to provide an estimate quickly and then scheduled the work to be done right away. Within a week they were refinishing my Oak floors! They were professional, courteous, and neat. Most importantly, the floors are incredibly beautiful now!
