The staff was very professional, worked extremely hard to complete job on time and did an outstanding job of cleaning up after the job was complete. Great detail was given to each phase of the job from beginning to the end. Outstanding work guys!

Unbelievable experience! We have done a lot of renovations in the past year and Jackson egress has by far been the best company we have delt with! Crew showed up at 736 am and was ready to go! They introduced themselves and took a look at the project overall to ensure they wouldn't run into any problems. Right away they noticed where we originally planned on putting the window could cause some issues. One being plumbing I had ran, electrical box for A/C, and load bearing wall. They were more then happy to make it work if I was set on that spot at no additional charge but I agreed to have it moved to a less problematic area. The crew was one of the most hard working we have seen in sometime as they dig by hand not to tear up the yard. Inside they always wore boot covers or took them off as they worked in the basemen. My wife really appreciated that! They taped off the work area in the basement not to get dust everywhere! They told us if we at any time had any questions to feel free to pop in and ask! We at no time felt like we had bother the crew as they showed there professionalism and obvious knowledge of their craft! I can't say enough about the crew and there company! When it was all done at approx 430pm they showed us everything, answered any questions my wife and I had and thoroughly cleaned up everything!! Phenomenal job!

It only took about 4 hours and they cleaned everything up and even replanted the bush they had to move. They were very polite and professional.

Jonathan was super prompt in all his responses to my questions I had before contracting with his company to install the window. I have wanted on for years since my Mom lives in my lower level. There was not anyone out there I felt I could trust. It is a serious decision to have someone cut into your foundation below ground level. I was so worried about leaks and compromising my foundation. I found Jackson Egress Windows on Angie's List and no one had a bad thing to say about them. I was impressed. I was even more impressed with the work they did. I had them install the window and also do the trim around it. James did a fantastic job. There was no mess. They put down plastic to protect the carpet and were so careful. It was completed in a day! It looks great and my Mom loves it! Now I can sleep at night and not worry about her being trapped in her room if we had a fire. Plus, it adds value to the home. Does it leak? NO!!! It has been two months now with HEAVY rain and NO LEAKS! They did a great job. They were very professional, polite, and considerate. Jackson Egress Windows is a company that is reputable, honest, and has a great crew of employees! I will definitely use them again!

John and his crew were actually early. He communicated throughout the week about the weather and what day they would be there. They unloaded everything and went to work. There was very little disturbance to our morning. About 5 hours later, they were finished. All evidence of their work was cleaned up and we were left with a beautiful new egress window and cover. They found a runoff drain line from gutters and put in new pipe around egress at no charge. We will probably do the full walkout one day and will definitely use him again. 3 hardworking good guys.

I received my estimate quick!!! The install took approx 5 hours. The team of guys worked hard and quick - they did an amazing job cleaning up internally and externally. They were all very professional. It hasn't rained yet so I'm not sure about leaks, but they said to call if there were any and I believe they would take care of it. See you next year when we have our 2nd one installed ?

They put plywood down before they started digging so that they could haul the dirt away and not damage the grass. In the house they put up a plastic barrier, so no dust or anything would get into the room. The results were beautiful. They were so nice and very professional.

James and team came out first thing in the morning. They were very polite. James provided full details and was careful not to damage the surrounding lawn or track dirt into the house. He did a terriffic job with install and went the extra mile to ensure the job was perfect. I highly recommend this company. It looks terriffic and now I can begin the basement rennovation process!!!!

I was preparing to finish a basement and needed to install an egress window. I had received a number of quotes that included an egress window. We decided to delay the full project and just do an egress window. I found Jackson Egress as about the only company that focused on egress windows alone, and I am so happy that I did. I called and got a quote that was easily half of what the other basement companies included in their quotes. I talked through my window selection and scheduled a date for the install. In the interim they company received a new window type and called me straight away to see if I was interested in the new type. I was, and for no extra cost, they installed the new style.. Two gentlemen arrived for the install and got right to work. No heavy equipment, just shovels, and I was shocked at how fast they were. The install took ~ a half day, and we loved the results. The exterior was nicely finished, the interior work was nice, clear and well finished. They even offered to come back and repack dirt after everything settled, although it was unnecessary. We love the window and as we have moved on with our basement redo, nearly every worker that goes into the basement loves the window style and I have provided company info to at least two other basement workers. Highly recommend!

James Young is the seasoned professional with Jackson Egress windows. Jonathan Jackson's business ventures are very diverse so the focus of my review is with Mr. Young and his team of installers whose performance far exceeded my expectations. Final product, cleanliness, courtesy, willingness to accommodate ... all first class and much appreciated! The Westerville code compliance inspector was equally impressed with the final outcome .... neighbors, too! Further references including possible on-site visits are welcomed provided they are coordinated by Mr. James Young, the Go To Guy ! Paul L.

The reason we went with Jackson egress window, is we like to stay planned and know what to expect and their website had step-by-step details with pictures, which was very helpful. One the day of installation, they showed up 15 min early and installed the window, just the way they explained it on their website. The only surprise was it took them only 5.5 hours to finish the project, as it was easier to dig due to moist ground. We like the additional light it brings to our basement and the quality of material they used was great. The only hick up we had was, the installation had to be delayed by a few weeks, as the temps were below freezing, which was understandable.

I had a great experience with Jackson Egress windows. I had explored many different options for egress windows as I am preparing to "finish" my basement. After getting quotes for full basement options, I had decided to do some of the work myself, but felt I wanted someone else to do the egress window. I contacted Jackson, heard back in 1 day, was able to ask all my questions online, including quote and contract, and decided to go with them. The price from Jackson was far, far better than any other quote I received. The crew arrived early and finished the job in about 6 hours. They discussed a few issues about the house with me (footers, etc) and even helped me move a piece of furniture through the opening before installation. The crew was fast, efficient, clean and friendly. They cleaned up the site nicely and let me know I could contact them if I wanted more dirt removed in the future (after settling). I may update my report once I see how the installation holds up to rain and weather, etc, but for now, all A's.

Let me start off by saying that when I first started researching on Angie's List, I came upon the company and saw a big fat F! As a general rule, I move right along, but I'm morbidly curious so checked out the review. Interestingly, the reviewer indicated that the work had been completed fine, but they wouldn't hire this company if h*** froze over. It contradicted itself, and did not detail what on earth had occurred. For whatever reason, I decided to ask John at the company what it was all about. He had no idea he even had a review posted, let alone a bad review and had never been contacted by AL to dispute it. Long story short, it turned out that he had an employee who was a bad egg. This employee (while still working for him) and the owners made a side deal for additional work to be done. It wasn't the window install that went awry, it was other work this employee did unbeknownst to his employer. Further, this bad egg, stole from his employer and is now awaiting charges. Whew! Now, to my window install. I must have contacted 1/2 dozen companies for a quote. It took forever for people to get back to me-one or two didn't bother, and when they did, I about had a heart attack over the cost. This was a no-fuss-no muss window. The bids came in between $3200-$5000! Thankfully, I have a kid brother in construction business in CT and he told me what the max I should pay should be. He was floored by the estimates for they type of job I needed done. I was totally frustrated when I found Jackson Egress Windows. I am so glad I took the time to find out the "story" behind the F. Not only did John connect with me immediately, he answered every one of my questions over the couple of weeks I was vetting him. I had him give me a copy of his insurance certificate, and he did so without hesitation. Then I called the insurance company. His agent even recommended him! John gave me a bid I could live with, showed up on time, installed, and cleaned up the mess. It was just done yesterday, and it ended up pouring rain in the evening. So far, so good. No leaks, no problem. I'd hire them again without hesitation. He was really great to work with on my little project. And for once, I didn't feel ripped off!
