Jackson Egress Windows

Professional; responsive; quality work. Even came back to replace the window (plastic v. A metal clasp on the window) and add dirt around the exterior.

Love them. They did a fast wonderful job. Very little damage to yard. Work crew looked like they worked really well together. Like their own little family.

All communication prior to installation was over text, call or email. I had to take some pictures and measurements, but nothing too complicated. When the crew came out they were fixing a window that had been installed by someone who wasn’t qualified and didn’t put it in right. The crew showed up 10 mins early talked to me and my wife about everything that they were going to do and knocked it all out in about 6 hours. Their work was AMAZING!

After researching and talking with other window installers, we decided to go with Jackson Egress. After several emails and them coming out to check the existing window, we agreed to the to have the 48x48 slider installed. My wife wanted the larger window for getting more light into the basement and I wanted the larger window so I could bring large objects into the basement. It was going to take over a month to get to our window but we agreed to the wait They arrived promptly at 8 as promised and began working. After working a little while I was informed that they would not be able to install the 48x48 and could only install the smaller window (no price difference). When my wife began to have reservations about the smaller window they acted as if they were going to just stop working and leave. Not wanting to have to wait months longer and wanting to start our basement remodel as soon as possible, we reluctantly agreed to the smaller window. On the plus side, they were punctual, respected our property and worked very hard to professionally install the window that they wanted to install. When everything was finished it looked great but I would not use their service again.

Wonderfully! Crew arrived on time, were very professional and craftsmanship was excellent. They cleaned thoroughly and we are very pleased with the job.

Considering that they would be cutting into a perfectly good concrete wall to install these windows, there was a lot of research done on our part, and many emails and calls with questions. All were answered in a very professional and calming manner. Jonathan and his staff were very confident and knowledgeable. There was never a moment where we felt like this was the wrong decision and we absolutely love the finished product. Installers Tyler, Justin and James were not only respectful of our property, but were so well organized, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It took 2 days to complete the entire job, 1 day for each window. They showed up when they said they would and were done each day by 2:30 PM. If your looking for quality work by some highly trained folks, you have to call Jackson Egress Windows.

Jackson Egress was friendly and efficient. We were very pleased with the final product and would recommend them to others.

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Jackson Egress, SO happy we hired them. The crew was on time, efficient, polite, were very considerate in keeping my home clean (as it’s a very dirty job) and just all around genuinely nice guys who work hard. Great folks to work with. We are considering adding more in another room to have the natural light in the basement. Easy to work with. Highly recommend.

They were on time and great quality!

Straight up company did what they said and did it well. Scheduling was easy. Wish they came out to look at the job first though, because I had to take a day off only to find that I had to have some irrigation lines moved before they could do the install...so that was a wasted day. Once they came back (on the day they said, and right on time) they worked non-stop to complete the job. they put up plastic to keep the mess down in my basement. They cleaned the exterior walls where the masonry saw threw some block dust on my siding. they backfilled the hole well and really tried to clean up the area well, building up a nice slope to the well and spreading the soil neatly. They took pictures of the job so they want it all to look good. The caulking they use around the window took a long time to cure (perhaps because the temperature was in the 40's -50's) so be careful about that. If they had gotten the well another 1/2 inch deeper the well cover mounting flange would have fit under the edge of the siding on the wall. I wish they had checked for that. Instead they just mounted it on top of the siding and caulked it. I don't think that the 2 screws they mounted it with are biting really well either. This is my only real complaint. Everything else was great!

It was difficult for them because of the tree roots. However, they did a great job.

We worked with Jonathan, the owner, to review our options, understand the installation process and the costs. Once we agreed to proceed, Jonathan scheduled an appointment for his installer, James, to come out and see the bedrooms, make sure there were no issues or challenges that would prevent the installation and review our choices. James was on time and very professional. He explained that he and his crew would dig the window well area by hand. This was great to hear... no heavy equipment. James went over the different types of egress windows and which ones were best for our window locations. Based on that visit we made the final decisions and Jonathan ordered the windows. When they arrived James and his very able crew came back to install the two windows. They installed one window per day, cleaning up after themselves inside and out, leaving everything as they found it. After two days we had two new egress windows installed by an extremely professional team from Jackson Egress. We were and are very happy customers.

The work was all completed in one day and my basement was left completely clean. The trim looked very nicely finished and the dirt around the window outside was smoothed out. It has been a year or so since the work was completed and we have not had any issue with water leaking. The work was done very well.

Two men showed up on time with all the materials and tools needed to finish the job. Finished and cleaned up the mess in one day. Nice work. No problems.

From start to finish a totally professional experience. I contacted Jonathan via email and got a quick response full of detail. James came out for a site inspection and provided a quote. James was friendly, smart and professional and showed up on time. I received a written estimate of the job and details via email and was scheduled quickly. James and his crew showed up on time, worked constantly, were respectful of the surrounding areas and cleaned up as the job progressed. The work was completed timely and was very professional. I would hire them again and feel that they will stand behind their work if there is ever an issue. James is a true professional.

We had an excellent experience. All arrangements were done on line. The crew showed up early and had our project completed before lunch. The crew was respectful, knowledgeable and left our property in great shape. They made it look easy.

I was pricing a basement egress for a house I was about to buy. Jonathan was immediately responsive with spec details and the competitive price, ready to help me navigate with the future HOA. Unfortunately the seller of the house changed, so no purchase. But I highly recommend this company for the journey I had with them.

James and his crew did an excellent job. We didn't have an existing window in the area that we wanted the egress window to be installed so it involved a little more time and effort. From start to finish, they were very professional. They were extremely concerned that we were pleased and satisfied with the project. Cleanup was great and they finished in about six hours.

Jackson put an egress window in our basement which because of the thickness of our basement walls, the hardness of the ground around our house, and a rain delay did not prove to be an easy task. They were very professional and paid especially close attention to every detail, even catching a slight flaw in the original window they brought, which they then retrieved a new one to ensure that the quality of the window was not sacrificed. They did an excellent job and we would recommend them again in a heartbeat.

Considering the time of how long it took them to do the work, I thought the price was fair. The quality is good.

We contacted Jackson Egress in early November to get a quote. Jonathan quickly provided a written quote via e-mail. We were not ready to act yet, so we waited until December to accept. Jackson Egress called OUPS to mark our yard for utilities, then James came out for a site visit. We found that our gas line encroached on one of the egress wells and would need to be moved. I contacted Columbia Gas to start this process. In the meantime, Jackson Egress started on the other two windows. We found out that Dublin would not approve permits on the rest of our basement remodel without permitted egress windows. Oops...rookie mistake on our part. Not Jackson Egress's fault, our fault. But they halted their work without complaint, covered our egress wells, filed drawings for permits with Dublin on our behalf, and waited for us to complete work with Columbia Gas. Columbia Gas completed their work in early January. And, despite the weather challenges, Jackson Egress resumed shortly thereafter completing the 3 egress windows which passed inspection with no issues. We had some challenges along the way with Dublin requiring permits on the egress windows before approving the rest of the basement. And of course getting Columbia gas to move fast especially around the holidays was fun. Throw in some winter weather for good measure. But, I have no complaints. James and crew were on time or early and worked hard every day they could. Jonathan was responsive with all scheduling and communication. The price was fair. The work and materials are high quality. Nothing more I could ask for as a customer.

They were curtious and very flexible. They had to come back on two occasions because we ran into an electrical issue that wasn't their fault. The first time they even came and worked on a Sunday.

I contacted Jackson Egress Windows on Oct 19th. The man who answered was slightly rude right from the start making sure I knew one window would be between $3500-$4000. I told him I was interested in an estimate if he could have someone look. He said he "could not take my information" over the phone and that I must go to his website and fill out a form with information. Then his lead installer James would contact me and come out. On Oct. 25th, I went to his website and filled out the form with all the details. After ten (10) days with no response at all, I called back to follow up. After telling Jackson what had happened and that twice I had tried to get someone to talk with me about using their company, he did not apologize and only explained how that website send email to one email and then it is transferred to another email and he couldn't find the email. Sad way to do business!!! Beware...if they treat you like this at the start how will they treat you throughout a project.
