The actual treatment was great, but we had bugs in our house less than a week later. I did not notice any difference in the bug situation from before they came. We used this company two others times in the past and noticed a big difference, but this time not as much.

Service was fine, but received a threatening email today, 06/12, that my account was past due 50 over days and would be sent to collection if not paid. Let them know it was an Angie's List purchase so paid up front. Did get a prompt reply that it had been taken care of. Probably won't use again due to this.

I bought the deal in April. When prompted by the website to do so, I indicated three days that would work for me to have Greenix come out and complete the treatment. They were supposed to contact me directly to schedule the work. They never did. About six weeks later, when I was about to contact Angie's List and request a refund, an employee of Greenix showed up at my front door making a cold call. I told him about the deal I had purchased and he scheduled a technician to come out and perform the service the next day. This just occurred a few days ago, so it's too early to tell if the treatment is effective.

Paid in advance for treatment via Angie's List promotion. Provider confirmed treatment date, but never showed up (suspect went to wrong address, but not sure). Received email from provider that service had been completed, and outstanding balance needed to be paid. Called to inform them service had not yet been completed, and had been already pre-paid via Angie's list (provider then cancelled outstanding charges). Provider then rescheduled original treatment to another date, and provided service as promised. Three days later carpenter bees were still present, no provider was notified. Provider setup new time to re-apply their product since 1st attempt did not work. Re-application completed, however I was billed a second time for the initial service. Attempted to contact provider to question why I was billed again for the original service. Called for three days (and two voice messages) before someone called me back to answer my question. As it turns out billing was incorrect (again) and invoice was cancelled.

This is a 2nd review of a Greenix & their technicians. After contacting the office and being told I'd have to pay for the company to come back, I posted a negative review. Two days later I received a follow call from the main office. I also received an apology from the office and I was offered the opportunity to have my house re-serviced. I explained to the manager, I would NOT write a positive review until the services I paid for did what they were supposed to, KILL the large ants! This time 2 technicians came to my house. Matt was a lot more thorough and took his time to explain the breeding, nesting Queen & life cycle of the carpenter ant! The 2nd tech, Boyd searched my back yard and was able to find the nesting/infested area behind the shed. And they used a different chemical that worked extremely fast. I felt much more CONFIDENT with the service and more importantly, I haven't had to take a shower with any ANTS! Thank you Matt & Boyd! I'm sure Jeff Thomas the first technician would have done a great job if he had the same tools and/or training. And Thank you Greenix for NOT charging me for re-service!! I'd definitely RECOMMEND this company!!

It was hard to schedule an appointment with the compliant. The technician showed up, very friendly but totally in the dark about what services he was supposed to provide. I told him I had just moved into the house and had bushes and ground ivy removed. While he was standing in the door way, a large black and was crawling in! He put down gel & ant baits on the inside. And sprayed and applied granules on the lawn front and back. He also tried to find the nest. It's been a month and they are STILL here!! Worse than ever! This morning there were @least 6 large ants in the shower. They are also in the bath tub, kitchen cabinets and outside. I called the company and instead of offering to come back and do the job RIGHT, I was told I'd have to "upgrade" to their $229 package. Is told the ONE time price $119 I paid on Angie's List, does NOT include re-treatment! I told the Sales Rep "I wouldn't pay more money to a company who provided poor service the first time" ! I was told I couldn't get a refund! What a waste!

Greenix is under new management. Last year we received good service; this year, it has been chaotic, with new demands for more money. On April 27, 2016, we agreed to a year contract for 4 quarterly payments of approximately $106 to treat our home, including bees. This year, they want an additional $69 per month to treat bees on top of the quarterly payment. I called Greenix four times in April before I got a return call. I received the call only because I was given the cell phone number of a Manager by a Technician. Once reached, this manager still did not change the situation or solve any problem. Then another technician came to our home, and demanded the extra $69 per month commitment before he would treat our home for bees. The technician was not to blame, but the management practices were very unprofessional. I cannot, in good faith, recommend Greenix to anyone.

I did not have them do the work. I called to ask some questions before buying the deal offered on Angie's List. He assured me they come out 4 times a year. I thought, "Wow. What a great deal." He wanted my bank account number but I refused. When I said I'd just go back to Angie's List and pay for the deal there he accepted my credit card. The problem is, when I got the "contract" by email I saw that it said I had agreed to 5 visits at $119 each and that if I canceled after the first treatment I would owe for that treatment PLUS a $100 cancellation fee. It also stated that I had only 3 days to cancel the contract. This upset me. During the call, he didn't make it clear that I would be paying $119 for each visit, he did not mention that I was agreeing to 5 visits, and he didn't say anything about the fact that I was agreeing to a contract with them. I canceled the next day. They never charged my credit card. I don't feel I can trust this company.

The actual service went very well. They took care of a huge bee problem we were having. Our only complaint was with the scheduling of the service. We always received a recording when we called for service so it took a few weeks to ever get a live voice to schedule the service.

Updated: 2017-05-11 Greenix has called and resolved this situation to my satisfaction. They have proven quite thoroughly that they care about their company's integrity and the customer service provided by it's agents. I have revised my initial grading accordingly. Original Review: I canceled my first appointment with Greenix Pest Control after waiting 45 minutes past the scheduled time and two phone calls ending up in their voicemail. The new customer coupon and great Angie's List rating (at the time) was tempting enough to bite. Now I read their Facebook page and apparently this is a long standing issue with them. I definitely do NOT recommend wasting your time with this company. Their FB page also lists complaints of being charged even when no service was provided; that better not happen here!

We always give our technicians a two hour window for appointments which was explained but we understand that there was a lot of information being shared and it can be hard to remember everything. As far as being charged for services not completed, it has never been and will never be our business practice to charge anyone for services not rendered, if anyone is not satisfied with our service we will not only offer a free re-service but also a refund of their last service.

My account number is: Account # 18318 I'm very happy with Greenix! I have been with Greenix for over 6 months now and have not noticed any insects other than the occasional stink bug, which we all know are impossible to get rid of. Greenix went above and beyond and gave me a call recently as they noticed some field mouse activity outside that they had burrowed. I never noticed this activity and am thankful they spotted it. They immediately called me to mention their bait box program. With my approval they setup 4 bait boxes around the house to eliminate the field mouse activity before they find a way inside. This was greatly appreciated and worth the minor cost for the program. Thanks Greenix!

They came out quarterly. They were great. They were on a schedule and they would come out and spray the outside of the house. They would let me know if there was anything unusual going on with the house. They would always use shoe covers when they came inside the house. They were very responsive. I would give them A's across the board.

They didn't show three times. I wrote a bad review and the manager offer to do the service for free to make it up. They came and performed the service twice. The first time was supposed to be free. I'm getting collection letters for a supposedly free service.

Everything seemed to be okay. Honestly, I don't think the service really completely resolved the issue. I still saw them afterwards. I never followed up with them. I don't really plan to follow up with them, it was just whatever. It got away from me, but I would say the people were okay and friendly but the service itself, I wouldn't go back to them.

Technician arrived as scheduled. He explained the products he was going to use. He then walked through and around the property looking for trouble areas. Then he went through every room in the house spraying baseboards every 5 feet with a bio product, including closets. At my request he sprayed my walk in attic as well as in my crawl in attic, at no additional charge. He even sprayed in my crawlspaces. He then wen outside and sprayed the perimeter of the house and along the top. After it was done I received a thorough detailed invoice showing exactly where he sprayed, what product he used, and how much of it, as well as a report on his inspection on the property.

Not well. The gentleman that was sent out clearly had no idea what he was doing or how to treat the ants we had. The problem moved to a different are fairly quickly. He was sent back out. And it still didnt fix our problem. I called a third time and requested a new service person. He was able to eliminate the ants for good. Customer service was horrible.
