They were on time, very professional, very knowledgeable, competitively priced.

The technician came in and took a lot of notes on where and when the problem with the ants began. He treated all the baseboards and around most of the windows where we were having a problem. He also went outside and treated around the entire house. The problem stopped. We have seen a few insects on occasion and Greenix returns very promptly to address it with no additional charges. We are very pleased with this service.

The service technician was courteous and professional as he explained all the processes. Because the technician was such an consummate professional and because Greenix is a "green" company I decided to use them over the next year for my "creature" treatment services.

They were prompt to take care of a small ant problem in our kitchen and a small stink bug issue in the garage and the house. They came in and explained what they were doing and how it would work, then went right to it addressing the entire house from top to bottom. Then they went outside and sprayed the entire perimeter of the house to create a barrier to keep future bugs away. It all seems to be doing just fine. A few weeks after the initial treatment, we noticed some heavy ant traffic in our detached garage. I called to have them come out to take care of it, and they did a great job spraying the area as well as the back patio to help with the issue. They also consulted me on the proper way to have some birds removed from hard-to-reach places under my roof. We can tell a difference from before they came to treat our home, and it has made a huge difference! We did sign up for the quarterly treatments and we have had 2 so far. I am happy that we did because it really seems to be working.

Update: Brent the owner of Greenix contacted me right away after my review. He apologized that it took a less than favorable review for him to find out I was unhappy. Brent bent over backwards to fix the situation. I had one of his most experienced tech's come back and retreat and since then, no earwigs!! I highly recommend Greenix and if I ever have issues again I will contact them. I was very happy with the service I received from Greenix initially. Within a week I was seeing earwigs again in my basement. It was pouring rain on the day my home was serviced and I don't know if that effected the treatment. I called to let the company know I was still seeing insects. I was told by the woman who answered that the big deal I purchased was for one treatment only. She said if the treatment didn't work I would need to pay for a follow up visit. I told her I felt this was unfair and that I had just thrown out money. The treatment was ineffective. She said she would talk to the owner and call me back. My problem has not been resolved and I still have a basement full of earwigs.

The company treated the carpenter bees infestation. First they sprayed into the holes then they placed a powder so that the bees would brush against it and carry it into the best and that would kill the larvae. They offered to comeback and great again at no charge if the problem was not resolved.

We bought a "Big Deal" for preventative interior and exterior treatment from Angie's List, and our overall experience was great. We were originally scheduled for the treatment on Tuesday, June 4, but nobody came. We left a message with Greenix, and the next day they called back and apologized for the mix-up. They rescheduled us for Thursday, June 6. This was our first time getting pest control treatment, and the person who came did a great job of explaining what he was doing, and was able to spot treat our skylight (not easy to get to) where we had some carpenter ants. He did a thorough job with the treatment and accommodated any special requests we had with specific areas or spots. It has been two and a half weeks, and so far the treatment seems to have worked very well.

Working with John and Anne has been pure joy! It's that simple. These folks are "keepers." That's the bottom line. How absolutely refreshing! These folks are the real-deal of landscapers. It's been an honor to work with these fine folks.

Greenix took the time to listen to my problems. I have carpenter ants around the house and they treated all the spots. They came on time and were very professional. They took the time to explain the process, material used etc.

I have never used a pest control company before and or on a regular basis. I checked on Angie?s list and read the reviews; many satisfied customers. I liked that. I also liked the environmentally safe aspect of the product as well; I have dogs and children. I have had issues with black carpenter ants in the house last year and again starting last month. Chris was in our neighbor with brochures and I was not able to speak with him; but he left a flyer. I called and they had a service guy out that next day/evening. They were able to come out after hours; because my daughter had an art fair at her school. Willie was very friendly, informative and did a great job. I would love for him to be my specialist; it felt like he cared. I also appreciated that they treated the outside and the inside of the house. So far, first impression is positive. I would recommend them to anyone.

Alright. I dont have anything to complain. My neighbor didnt have anything negative to say about the services. I am not sure that they worked the crawl space and garage. Overall, it looked like they did what they said.

They sprayed the basement, outside and the crawlspace. They did a good job.

I emailed Greenix via Angie's List after business hours and received a call the next day. I explained the problem we were having with ants in our home. I was given a good explanation of what to expect and what the exterminators will do if we decide to use their services. They weren't able to accommodate a visit prior to us leaving for vacation but it was short notice (we previous called a different company and never even got a call back) they did offer some advice on things we can do to try to prevent coming back to an ant party and we agreed on a date after our arrival from vacation. The gentlemen were punctual, My wife had an errand that ran over the expected time so she was not home when they arrived, they called me to let me know they were at our house and they were kind enough to wait maybe 5min for her to get home. Everything went well, I gave them the go ahead to start spraying the exterior of the home. Once my wife arrived, they introduced themselves, she found them already working on the exterior. We appreciated that as it showed they waisted no time to get to it. They asked if there is an area where we see the ants more, so they paid extra attention to these areas. Once inside my wife pointed them to all our problem areas, the basement, crawl space specifically, and the upper level. My wife asked them to spray around the perimeter of the entire upper level and they gladly did. This was probably not necessary but we like the fact that they were very willing to do what we requested. They concentrated in the main areas of problems and asked if we had ants in our kitchen cabinets. Thankfully this is not the case but I think it shows they were being proactive and not waiting for us to tell them what else Needed attention. They did leave some mice traps in our garage and crawl space....My wife didn't realize they had put these down until she went out to the garage and a few days later found another in the crawl space. Initially she thought they maybe saw evidence of mice, she called me and I told her they did mentioned they would treat for all possible scenarios. I guess a quick heads up would have been nice for her but this does not hurt the quality of the work performed by Greenix.. My wife was pleased that they were quick as she wasn't sure how much of her day this would take. Since they sprayed we have seen maybe 1-2 ants but it has been less that 1 week. We signed up for their 1 year service plan and they will continue to come out every three months, the next visits will all be exterior treatments unless we see ants inside again. We noticed silver fish and stink bug (don't know the scientific name!) inside our house on several occasions, and with spring coming did not want to risk a serious infestation. I called Greenix, and they gave an estimate and did a preliminary treatment inside and out. We signed up for treatments every three months and were told not to hesitate to call them if we spotted any more bugs. We did see one or two, phoned Greenix, and they came out promptly and did another treatment at no charge. We liked the courteous treatment we received from the technicians, and on the phone, and the fact that the company tries to be environmentally responsible. All in all, an excellent way of handling customers -- and a company I'd recommend highly.

Service persons were very courteous, explained what they would be doing and why,and were efficient in going about servicing my home.

I definitely liked that Greenix Pest Control used less harsh chemical. They don't go overboard on the chemicals. They had trained professionals to do the application. My wife was present when they sprayed and she felt that the worker who had come out to spray was talking down to her. That part didn't set well with her. And the more she asked questions, the workers responses were not along the lines of a true professional customer service person. When he first got there, he told her, "I need the money before I do any work at all." So you get the service part that he was bad at and then you get this money part, where he thought we were going to stiff him. We thought, "What's going on here?" The manager called up, wanting to know how the service went, so I told him just what I told you. Their response was, he's done that before. He's kind of over the top, but he's really good and passionate about his work and they did not tell him that he had to collect the money up front. So, we've decided we're not going with them for future work. We were under contract to have them come out every month. So I called him and told him we were not going to continue with them and I then got a series of voice mails, kind of like, "You've signed up for this. You can't bail on this now." It was like, if you didn't have us before, you're not going to have us now, because I don't like being told I've got to use somebody just because we did a trial. The service actually worked. If they had said, we're going to give you a new person to come out there or if they apologized, we probably might have continued to use them.

I like them. They had to come back a couple of times. There was one technicians who told me that he wasn't being as thorough as he should. But, they were very good about coming back and taking care of it.

We were looking for a less expensive alternative to another company. They came out and gave a quote and we went with them. We have been using them ever since. We paid them $90 a quarter or a treatment for the service where we were paying $120 to another company. The technicians are fine to work with. They do almost everything that they do outside the house where the former company did come in to do some work inside the home, so that is one notable difference. Greenix is not doing any mouse traps in the basement or anything like what the former company did. We don't have much to say either pros or cons. They seemed nice enough folks. We have not been saying how great the service is, but we are not disappointed with them either. It is a cheaper alternative and probably getting what we are paying for. They showed up when they were going to and have been very professional. We don't have any reason to make a change at this point. We are not overly excited about them as a service provider, but we know how not to blame this service provider.

I think they do a good job. They are always professional. I am satisfied with them. We have not had to call them about a problem.

A bit of a rough start when the sales process seemed to be a forced sell, but that was quickly rectified and explained after I made a complaint to the owner. He quickly apologized. The quarterly treatments have taken care of any insect problems and they do a good job of calling us in advance to let us know when they are coming out. There has been no smell nor any residual chemicals - no evidence really of them being there which is what is wanted... Thye have been effective and I assume a good value, though we didn't price anyone else.

The service tech explained everything he was doing & was here about an hour spraying everywhere inside & out for bugs & sweeping the outside of the house.

I called immediately to set appointment and was given several choices within 2-3 days from then. The technician was professional, addressed specific areas of concern and did a good job. The few issues we were dealing with were resolved without need for follow up but as spring comes and so do the bugs/pests, I will use Greenix again for sure. Our family has many food and environmental allergies/sensitivities, so knowing we were using fewer chemicals in treating our home was very important. We had no issues and I didn't have to worry about us or our pet had we used a traditional heavy chemical based treatment.

Very professional. Answered my questions. Smelled much better than typical chemicals and worked very well for the 4 months they promised. Update: Greenix applied their treatment in November 2012. It's almost July 2013 and we still have had virtually no problems with insects in our home and we live out in the country near Sunbury. I had expected it to be quite bad in the Spring but it is still working!! Very pleased with the results and longevity. Highly recommend!
