Greenix Pest Control

I was leary at first because the reviews on the list seemed mixed and they were offering multiple deals providing the identical services at different price points. However they were easy to deal with I haven't seen any ants since they performed the service about 6 weeks ago. I also feared that they would pressure me to sign up quarterly services but that was also not the case and they indicated that they could be flexible in providing the level of service I think I need; so overall it was a positive experience. I had been paying my previous yard guys $70/visit to protect the outside perimeter so $119 to do the perimeter plus the eaves and inside trouble spots seemed reasonable although not a great deal.

Had to come out twice, but seems to be working well.

Went well. I feared carpenter ants but that wasn't the case. Continued to see large ants and they came back. I signed up for annual plan.

The technician asked about the problems we were seeing. He had a good knowledge of the insects and then used a couple different specific treatments to attack the problems. Great service, friendly technician, no up-sell or sales pressure for additional services.

Promptly arrived at the agreed upon time. It was a rainy day, so only treated the inside of our home. Returned for a second visit to treat the outside. This is the first year that we have not seen ants in our home during the transition to spring. Greenix did a great job and will definitely be back next spring!

Zach was very professional the entire time he was here. He explained everything he was going to do and the sprays and powders he would be using. Then he went to work, inside the house first and then outside. He also swept the eaves. And he swept the ceiling in my garage. It is a very high ceiling and hard to get to. This is only the second time in our 11 years in the house that we have used a pest control company. The first one, who shall remain nameless, we were not too happy with. But Greenix was awesome. And no pressure to buy more services during the house call. Just said call us if you want further service (although he did mention some options for us to consider.) I would have given them A+ in every category, but that option was not available.

Aaron was exceptionally friendly, asked me questions about the problems we've been having. Also educated me about certain types of insects that we were encountering. He told me that he traveled from Utah to do this summer job because he enjoyed it so much last year and the company was so good to him.

I was very pleased with the services I received from Greenix. I called them yesterday and spoke with a knowledgable representative who was able to answer my questions and provide me with details about Greenix's services. There was no pressure to purchase services. The company was able to schedule services for me today (less than 24 hours after my inquiry). The services were provided by Aaron, who arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He was quite courteous, pleasant and very professional. From my observations, he seemed to conduct his work thoroughly, both inside and outside my house. I believe it will take a period of time before I can determine whether the treatment has resolved my insect problems, but from the work Aaron performed, I believe it will. As part of the Greenix guarantee, Aaron assured me that Greenix will return to my house to resolve any continuing insect issues should this treatment not take care of them. I would definitely recommend Greenix to others.

He was very polite and professional and on time. He asked questions regarding the outstanding issues we had but I had made the appointment more to have someone look at areas I was concerned about and let me know if the cause is pest related. He recommended and applied Ant product that would lie on the ground and would then be taken to the nests by Ants. I still see Ants in the area and the work done was all something I could do and have done myself in the past. He did find some extra wasp nests that he sprayed with a natural product due to my having pets. I haven't seen any wasps since then.

I had already hired Greenix for pest control, and when I needed my carpets cleaned after winter time I decided to try their carpet cleaning. With two boys my carpets saw a lot of traffic and were looking pretty dingy. Greenix came and cleaned my carpet and I was impressed with results I didn’t expect my carpets to even be close to looking new. They were able to remove stains I never thought would come out. Also they were able to work around my schedule and come out right away. I would definitely recommend their service.

The service technician was very polite and professional. He sprayed around all the door openings, attic,and the foundation of the house. He was in and out within 30 minutes or so. Awesome service.

He did the spraying and also gave me an estimate for yearly service which I did sign up for. They will be back every four months. I have only seen about a half dozen since he sprayed whereas last year there were many.

One of their technicians, Freddie, came and treated the grounds and the house for a variety of insects and bugs. Last season I had problems with stinkbugs. He showed me where the stinkbugs were likely getting in. He also told me how to fix it. Their treatments are livable. No odor. They tend to use the minimal amount of chemicals. He was able to come back out when I thought there was perhaps a rodent problem, and show me exactly where the problem had occurred, set multiple traps to see if there were rodents, came back again to check and found nothing. Had a problem with ants. Freddie came out, went around the house, found in colonies, figured out that it was because I had put down mulch that it had probably increased. He took care of all of the anthills that he found, and also treated indoors. He has been incredibly professional, friendly, courteous, and a caring individual as well. I imagine that the bugs would have a less positive review, but even if I were a bug, I would want someone like Freddy and his company to be doing the treatments. I can't speak highly enough of the service, the responsiveness, and the competence.

That one went fine. I think they were professional. There was trouble getting the schedule worked out but other than that it was fine.

A young man came to my door and called me by my first name. He did not identify himself actually saying the name on his Greenix shirt was not correct. He rattled off my neighbor's names and told me has spoken with my husband and son in an effort to sell me their service. I tried to be polite and told him I had another service carrier. He tried to convince me to switch but I have no reason to but if I told him that if I did I might contact him. He left without leaving me any information or card. Honestly, I quickly became furious at the lack of professionalism but more the experience left me frightened as to the extent of his knowledge of my family and neighbors. What are they thinking with this selling tactic??? I will definitely lock my door if I see this company in my neighborhood!

They did a great job. They already did bug control in my house and I saw that they did mold removal so I had them to that as well. They were great, answered my questions and were very polite. I thought it was a good price.

I was having a minor problem with ants and used a discount through Angie’s List to hire GreenX to exterminate. The GreenX staff member arrived on time and was extremely courteous both times he was here. He exterminated, told me the house was clean and everything should be fine but I might want to purchase an annual plan. I explained that I had only had one other problem with ants and that was 4 years prior so I didn’t think I would need the annual plan. I called several weeks later to tell the company that the ants were much worse. They sent the same gentleman out a second time, he baited and then told me that the company couldn’t warranty their work any further unless I purchased an annual plan. I again refused as I deemed it unnecessary. We did manage to locate the area we thought some of the ants might be using to gain access to the house. He baited it with poison and asked me to wait two weeks to caulk it off. I called again several weeks later and this time asked for my money back due to the fact that the ants were worse. They said they were sorry I was unhappy with their services and worked together with Angie’s List to get my refund processed quickly. I appreciate their working with me to resolve the situation to everyone’s satisfaction.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time, introduced himself, and we talked about what treatment was going to happen. I let him know that we had used them the year before and were satisfied with the outcome. He completed the treatment and left. About a week later, we were still seeing ants, but in an area where they hadn't treated, in our second floor master bath. I called their office, and an appointment was made for them to return. The same technician returned, and put down poisonous bait, and sprayed in the master bath, as well as on the first floor. We have not seen ants since. Interesting enough, I paid twice as much last year for the same treatment as I did this year.
