They did a good job at a reasonable price and were very professional.

Everything went smoothly. I called on 11/11/2011 (Fri) and got an appointment for 11/14/2011 (Mon). Kevin arrived when they stated he would. He told us the garage door was not repairable and had significant structural damage. He pointed this out to us and explained how it could eventually cave in on itself. We authorized a new door to be installed. He was able to get us a new door and installed in less than 3 hours from his first visit. Kevin was beyond professional. He also did some light service to our garage door opener to make sure it was running smoothly. I highly recommend this company.

Overall it went excellent. The technician (Kevin) arrived when we were told he would arrive. He was extremely professional, and he explained everything very clearly. It was an extremely fair price for the service provided. I wish all service providers could be like this.

Main door is now quite smooth, quiet and much easier opening and closing. The technician was excellent. Very knowledgable, provided good suggestions, showed up when promised and worked very quickly. Should have had Precision doors due the original installation instead of A&E (who cut corners and now I'm paying for it). I highly recommend Precision Doors and wish they had done the original installation when we built our house. While the price was high, I believe it was very reasonable given the amount of work completed, quality of work, quality of technician. I will ONLY use Precision in the future for any garage door servicing or installation.

The technician did a great job overall. He was punctual. Also, he was knowledgeable and explained the work he was going to do. He did a great and the door looks beautiful. He even did some repair work by adding trim along the walls surrounding the garage door.

He could have repaired our old one but it was 20 yrs old. The best part about this company is they were willing to give me a definite time they'd be there. i called Overhead door first and he told me he wouldn't/couldn't give me even a 3 hour window of time. The installer from Precision was courteous and very helpful. Showed up when he said he would and even put a new light bulb in the opener and spent a few minutes with us showing us how it operates. very nice opener too. its so quiet compared to the old one.

As noted above, everything went very well and my doors open again without jerking.

Company was easy to contact on Saturday afternoon when spring broke. Both wife and I were going out of town on Monday. Company sent technician out Sunday morning to look at the job. He called 20 minutes before scheduled time to confirm the time and say he'd be a little late. Hardly anyone who makes a service call will call when they are on their way and even better, call to say they would be late! Most excellent! Took a look at the job and gave both my wife and I a rundown on the options from just replacing the broken spring, a complete overhaul of the garage door hardware and of replacing the door. He explain the pros, cons and the prices of each option. After discussing our situation, he recommended just replacing the springs and would provide an option for replacing not only the 2 car garage door but also the matching single car garage door. We asked hiom to just replace the springs in the dual garage door for now. He had the required hardware to replace the springs in his truck and replaced them in about an hour...a job I have read on do-it-yourself web pages would have taken me all day to perform. Job wrapped up quickly and he provided his estimate for the door replacements. In addition, he took the cost of the hardware and work he just performed on the garage door off of the estimate for the replacement doors! Very nice. Definitely will be calling them to replace the garage doors when the time comes.. Very highly recommended..

Work went very well. I was getting ready to go to work one morning in April and had pressed the garage door opener on the wall. The door (two-car wide) went halfway up, I heard a screech which sounded like the garage door opener screw stripping, and the door slammed down. At this point I remembered Precision Overhead Garage door from having used them in the past on other work, and called them. They came out either same day or next day (I do not recall) but listened to the information I provided them, took a good look at the garage door, mechanism, etc, and made recommendations. The garage door opener itself had effectively died, so that replacement was obvious. The representative (I think his name was Kevin F if I recall) though also pointed out that the wheels that run the door up and down were worn and of a type that did not roll very well (was more plastic I think) - this recommendation made sense to replace the wheels. He also pointed out the broken spring on the door (something I hadn't noticed till he pointed it out) - and definitely an issue that needed to be fixed. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything he was recommending and answered any questions I had. There was *no* hard sell - he actually recommended a few items and explained whether they were absolutely necessary to fix the issue (the opener itself) and some that would improve the system/prevent some issues (the wheels). I was pleased that I was given the option of deciding between these options. Once I decided on the replacement work, the work began in a timely manner. He removed the track where the opener was attached to, the opener itself, and proceeded to replace the necessary parts. Once everything was replaced (I was impressed by how "clean" the work looked) he worked with me to reprogram our keypad (and as I am a stickler for security, I appreciated the fact that he specifically told me to key in the code and not to tell him the code to key in - a very good touch in today's security-scary world). The final installation looked great, he cleaned up everything (wouldn't have even known he was there!), and the garage now opens a lot quieter than before (icing on the cake!). From a technical and professional standpoint I was very pleased with his work! Now here's the kicker and what I think shows an amazing focus on the customer (and concern for the customer). Exactly *1* day after we had the repair work done we received (in the ValPak coupon mailing) a coupon for $75 off of a service call. At first we were like "darn this came one day too late" but my wife decided to call the company about this anyways. She talked to John the owner who said he would honor the coupon nonetheless! *This* is how you keep return business! In summary, everyone we dealt with were professional, helpful, and skilled. They did a fantastic job and we would recommend them to anyone looking to get any work done on their garage door openers etc. We are very pleased!!!

He was great. Our garage door was not going up and down. He looked at it and said that it probably would need to be replaced, but he went back out there and messed with it for a little while and got it working again. It still probably will need to be replaced, but hopefully we will get a little bit time out of it. He had a good demeanor. I was home here with my children, and I felt really comfortable with him. He took me out and showed me what was needed to be repaired. He called before he came, which I appreciated. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

I needed to upgrade the door opener with the current safety devices in order to satisfy the home inspection in order to sell my dad's house. I call and they had someone out the next day. The service was excellent.

very well, called very late on a saturday nite, and scheduled a time to have the service technician come out on Sunday morning. Thought I was going to need a whole new garage door, but the service tech explained that he could fix the split panel on the door, and do an overhaul of the spring mechanism and cables.

This company is amazing. They came within hours of us calling to give us a written estimate. Very professional and no pressure to have them do the job. Then, after we had another company come out, we decided to go ahead with them and called them back. We were told they would be out in two days, as the technician who came out to our house was supposed to have the next day off. But within an hour that technician called and said he would come in on his day off to do the job! He did a wonderful job!

The serviceman was able to coordinate his schedule with ours and was very professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable.

We called after hours on Saturday and they sent someone out on Sunday morning. He gave us the different options of what he could do and let us choose. He did a good job and we were pleased with the results.

They were on time and very efficient. They had a lot of knowledge about what the problem could have been. They repaired it the way we had agreed.

Called one morning and someone came out that afternoon; checked both garage doors (they had replaced the springs about 2 years ago) and agreed that some balancing was needed. Took about 15 minutes and I was surprised that there was no charge (and would never be in the future since the springs they put in had a lifetime warranty). The technician was very friendly and even made some other minor adjustments.

As a senior homeowner, I expected the run-around. Like, "we can't get the part", or "your door is too old we can't fix it", or "you need a whole new door". Being female and a DIY who is getting too old to fix some things, I was prepared for the worse. But that didn't happen.. The serviceman arrived on time. Told me what needed to be done and how much. What a relief... I didn't have to argue. Then within 20 minutes my problem was corrected. The serviceman even told me about a $10 off coupon in the phone book. I found this company listed on Angie's List.

Repair went very well. I placed a call to them on their voicemail and recieved a call back in about 10 minutes. They put me on their schedule the very next day at around 4:30 (when I got home from work which was nice!!). Service tech was very nice and helpful. I recieved a lifetime warranty on the labor and warranty for the spring.

I was desperate to close my door so I could go on my trip. The scheduler told me the tech would be there between 2 and 3 pm. He came at 2:45 pm. Right on! the tech asked pertinent questions, inspected the system, found the problem and solved it in 15 minutes.

WHEN THEY CAME OUT THEY HOOKED UP THE DOOR RIGHT AWAY. THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO RUN IT AND THEY TOLD ME IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG WITH IT TO JUST CALL THEM AND THEY WOULD COME LOOK AT IT.

The technician from Precision Overhead Garage Door installed a set of dual springs to replace my broken garage door spring. He assured me that one spring would not be sufficient and that two were needed. Next he suggested that I purchase as set of new rollers and assured me that they would be much quieter than the ones I had. Some time after that, the door came off the track so I called a different company to look at it (a long standing, reputable company). The technician told me that two springs were not needed and that I had been sold a bill of goods. Upon inspecting my rollers he informed me that they were the industrial type and would probably out last my next five garage doors. Once again, sold a bill of goods. Bottom line: I paid $125.00 for an unnecessary spring and $69.00 for rollers that were not needed (the old rollers were fine) and were no quieter than the old ones. I believe this company to be dishonest.
