Description of Work: Not impressed. He didn't really try to fix our problem, so my free repair visit didn't apply and I had to pay $94 dollars even though Angie's List says the free value was $79. He tried to rope us into longterm maintenance commitments and replacement of a part that will "likely" fail in the future. We waited because we thought it was still under warranty. After looking into the part, we got a quote from a reputable company for 1/3 of what he would have charged us.

Description of Work: The air conditioner and furnace were replaced. The two men who did the installation were professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up each day. The installation took three days. I was glad they took that long because when I saw how involved the process was, I felt that in order to do a thorough job more time was needed. (Other companies said that all could be done in one day - I am not sure that's a good idea.) The workmen answered my questions and made sure I knew how to operate and maintain my new heating and cooling system. The price was higher than the other companies I consulted but since I had dealt with Jacob Brothers in the past, I felt confident that quality work would be done and that I could depend on them to stand behind their work.

Description of Work: Replaced heat pump and furnace. One person smoked outside my home. Loud music in basement. Electric inspection did not approve the work. When the guy who smoked returned he said the Electric Inspection guy was wrong. I told him I did not appreciate his comment. They did fix it and it was approved. I called the office about some of the paper work and after a couple of calls I ask to speak to the owner. I got my sales person. He said he will take care of everything. I did get the paper work.
