Description of Work: OUR FURNACE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM WITHIN A FEW HOURS. THE TECHNICIAN CHECKED EVERYTHING CAREFULLY AND EXPLAINED ALL OF THE REPAIR OPTIONS AND COSTS.

THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE SCHEDULING. THE PERSON WHO SCHEDULED THE VISIT WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL; HOWEVER, I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT A SPECIFIC TIME AND THEY CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO SAY THEY WOULD BE OUT DURING A 2 HOUR WINDOW. THEY ARRIVED WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW, BUT AFTER THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. THE PRICES AND SERVICE WERE WORTH THE SCHEDULING CHANGE, BUT I WOULD SPECIFY THAT WHEN I USE THEM AGAIN. OVERALL, GREAT SERVICE.

+ -1 moreTHIS PROBLEM WAS COVERED UNDER OUR HOME WARRANTY. BECAUSE OF THEIR POOR COMMUNICATION WITH THE WARRANTY COMPANY, IT TOOK 12 HOT DAYS FOR THEM TO GET APPROVAL AND EVENTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM. ALSO, I GOT ONE OTHER ESTIMATE TO FIX THE PROBLEM FOR A LOT LESS, BUT DECIDED TO WAIT IT OUT SO THAT IT WAS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. LOCKES MAY BE A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH IF YOU ARE NOT DEALING WITH A PROBLEM COVERED UNDER A HOME WARRANTY.

HE GAVE ME A FEW OPTIONS INSTEAD OF JUST DOING THE WORK. THE NEXT WEEK ANOTHER PROBLEM CAME UP. THE TECHNICIAN GAVE ME A DISCOUNTED RATE BECAUSE THE PROBLEMS WERE CONNECTED. THE THIRD PERSON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT MY OLD FURNACE. I REALLY LIKE THEIR RESPONSIVENESS AND THAT THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME THE FULL RATE ON THE SECOND VISIT. THEY EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT THE CHARGES WOULD BE BEFORE COMING OUT.

I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS TO SERVICE MY HVAC SYSTEM AND WHEN MY FURNACE DIED ON A SUNDAY MORNING, THEY CAME RIGHT OUT. WHEN I DECIDED TO BUY A NEW FURNACE, RALPH CAME OUT AND SPENT SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH ME TO SPECIFY A NEW ONE. THEY DID AN AMAZING INSTALLATION JOB AND FIXED A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH MY EXISTING DUCTWORK AND THEN SPENT EXTRA TIME TO BALANCE THE SYSTEM PROPERLY. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

I KNOW $142 DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A LOT TO REPAIR SOMETHING LIKE A HUMIDIFIER, BUT IT IS. I WAS CHARGE $79 FOR THE SERVICE CALL,(BUT I HAD A $25 ANGIE'S LIST COUPON TO MAKE IT $54). I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THIS. HOWEVER I HAD TO BUY TWO REPLACEMENT PARTS WHICH I WAS TOLD I WOULD NEED TO REPLACE PROBABLY ONCE A YEAR (THE SERVICEMAN SHOWED ME HOW TO DO THIS). THE TWO PARTS WERE A WATER PANEL AND AN ORIFICE. I WAS CHARGED $40 FOR THE ORIFICE AND $48 FOR THE WATER PANEL. I FOUND THE ORIFICE ON THE MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE FOR $1.50 AND THE WATER PANEL FOR $6. WHEN I SAW THIS I COULDN'T BELIEVE I HAD PAID $88 FOR THEM. I KNOW THE COMPANY NEEDS TO MAKE A PROFIT AND ALL, BUT THIS JUST SEEMS RIDICULOUS TO ME. THE SERVICEMAN WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS DOING AT ALL TIMES. ALTHOUGH I NOTED I
