Excellently, in addition to tuning everything up, he also discovered and fixed an issue with the thermostat where the aux heater was not recognized, so never coming on. He also notified me that the capacitor on the blower motor would need replacement soon.

Home inspection of AC/Heating in home purchase went well. AC repair was not possible due to wiring issue of old home.

Tech was prompt, courteous and efficient

They were hired to do a furnace cleaning on an older furnace for a promotional amount of $53. It had been cleaned about a year earlier by another HVAC company. They came in and said the furnace had a crack and did not do any of the work. They said it was dangerous to continue using and I needed a new furnace. There is a new working carbon monoxide detector that never gave off a signal showing there was any carbon monoxide escaping in the premises. They did not measure the duct air for carbon monoxide or heat temp or do any of the 21 procedures they said they would do. They came out the next day and gave a proposal to put in a new furnace. Shockingly, it was more than double the next highest bid for comparable equipment. All I can say is beware of their scams.

Responsiveness was fair to OK. Price was outragious.

Estimate came in on the 24th of December they began install on the 26th and completed on the 28th with all the work. On time, respectful and great team to work with. Very knowledgeable.

We were told by the service guy that we had a bad ignitor and a bad main circuit board. We were given 2 quotes, Quote#1. This quote was for the replacement of both parts without enrolling in their seasonal maintenance plan, $209 for replacement of the ignitor and $777 for replacement of the main circuit board plus a $94 service call fee ($986 Total). Quote #2. This quote was for replacement of both parts with enrollment into their seasonal maintenance plan, $177 for replacement of the ignitor and $660 for replacement of the main circuit board, plus $189 for the cost to enroll in the seasonal maintenance plan ($1026). I had a coupon for a free service call. If I had not had that coupon I would have also had to have paid an additional $94 for the service call with Quote#1 While I thought it made sense needing a new ignitor something in my gut told me that I should get a second opinion because needing a new main circuit board just did not sound right to me and it also sounded like a sales pitch. So I paid the $94 service call fee and told the service guy that I would get back to him about the repairs. We called another company and had them look at the furnace the next day and was told that the main circuit board was fine and that there were no indications that the main circuit board needed to be replaced at all. We went ahead and let this company replace the ignitor was and now the furnace works just fine. The service guy at Thomas & Galbraith tried to mislead me to believe that I needed to replace a part that was perfectly fine. I was lied to and will not use this company ever again nor will I recommend this company to anyone I know in need of any of the services they provide.

They?re wonderful. They actually installed the 3 furnaces in 2007 when we did this whole house thing. They?ve been with us for years. They were with us at the other house. We fine their service very, very good. They?ve always been there when we needed them when there has been an emergency, they come back to be there. They?re very responsive about service. Any problems we have, they seem to get right on it. We?ve been happy with them for years.

We’ve just stuck with them and that’s really how we got hooked up with Jacob Brothers. They are a good reliable company and I knew our contractor would only use the best.

I am on a contract with them, so he comes twice a year. They’re an “A” company for sure.

Service man was punctual, polite and very understanding. She was totally in sticker shock over the water heater replacement.

A beautiful job, very responsive and courteous office staff and field technicians. Over the Christmas holidays our heating system went out. Jacob Bros. Heating and A/C sent a technician to my residence within an hour. The tech analyzed the issue and gave me options on what he could do. I chose to do the entire HVAC system since it was over 20 years old. Highly recommend this Company!

We received two quotes to install an entirely new HVAC system. Thomas & Galbraith's quote for a higher-end Carrier system was about $3,000 less than the quote for a lower-end system from another reputable HVAC company. Since our furnace had stopped working we needed to move quickly and T&G was able to have the installers out the day after the initial consultation. The installation went smoothly and T&G even corrected some out-of-code issues that the previous system's installers had left behind. Overall, the new system works great. T&G was very professional and the quality of the installation is top-notch.

We signed up for their yearly maintenance contract, so they come out twice a year. I know that the equipment is being looked up by a professional and makes me feel confident. I'm impressed by their punctuality and efficiency.

Jacob Bros. set up an appointment to give an estimate, and the rep who came out was punctual. Talked me through options and wrote up a full estimate, including local utility and national tax refunds that would come with different options. Once I decided to move forward, scheduled a date quickly. Technicians were professional, and work was performed to my satisfaction.

All was great. The service people were prompt, competent, efficient & friendly. They kept me update & spent time explaining important items. Seemed to enjoy what they were doing; lift area very clean.

My brother in law replaced the 3 wire pilot burner, about a $60 part, furnace working fine again.

I use them all the time. I have a service contract with them. Their customer service is prompt, their people know what they are doing, and they are very polite and timely. When they say they are going to be here at a certain time, they are here, and if they aren't, they call to tell me why. They are an easy company to work with. If you have a service contract with them, they discount most of the things they do so I'm always comfortable with what's quoted.

The first time I had them, they sent this guy and he was wonderful. We had an issue in the house during this real cold spell in January. It was like down to zero. It was only like sixty degrees here in the house. And the heater just wasn't working. So the company we'd been using came out here and he looked and he was saying, “Well, it's just because it's so cold outside.” Well, duh, you know. That's why you have a heater, because it's supposed to keep the house warm. So, he did absolutely nothing. So then we had this guy from Thomas & Galbraith and he come out and he says, the other guy, he's wrong. This guy knew what it was right away. It had something to do with the filter and he fixed it. The guy was just so knowledgeable, so polite, so nice. So I wanted him to come every time I needed him. I wanted to sign up with him. The next time I called and they said he doesn't work there anymore. So they sent another guy. You know, he did the job. He was here all day. I forget what the issue was that time. And he did find the issue, it was difficult to find (that's what he said). But, he acted like everything was such a chore, like he really kind of hated what he was doing. Then I had another guy after that and I wasn't real impressed with him, either. And then my friend liked another company and she'd had them for years. She told me about them. So, that's why I went with a different company. If Thomas & Galbraith had kept that first guy, I would still be with them. There were two guys, if I didn't get one, I'd get the other, and they were very good. They were really nice, good guys. But the whole thing just kind of went down the drain for me after that. I think, I'll never have those people again, even though those two guys were good. But I just don't like the way they do business. I never would have gone with the other company had I not been dissatisfied with the guys I was getting. One guy did find what he needed to find but it was just the attitude. I gave him a C because it took so long and the attitude. I mean, he wasn't nasty acting, he was just like, “Oh, brother,” you know? I do hate to give the company a C because they're a good company, but the guys I had after the one really good one, they just didn't compare to the other guy. But as the company goes, they tried to be helpful and bring people out. So, overall, for the company, I'll give them a B. They're a good company, but there are a few guys there they need to talk to. For their quality, I don't want to give the company a C because maybe they really do have some good guys other than the other two that I had that I just wasn't real thrilled with. I would use the company again if I knew they had a guy that I liked that I could use all the time.

Was quoted an amount to fix it but could not even quote me an amount for a new heat pump. I called Bryant Heating & Cooling for a 2nd opinion. Was advised that fixing the unit was not even an option they would recommend considering the diagnosis as well as how old my heat pump was.

Tech was on time and diagnosed the problem said the fix was going to be $1850 with their service contract, said that the furnace was dirty and that there may be cracks in the heat exchange and that just replacing the part that was broken would be $1500. I know for a fact that I could get a new furnace for less than that. Was able to get it fixed for $350 parts and labor, nothing wrong with the furnace other than the blower. Luckily I was educated and had some other resources to call upon, felt like this company was trying to use scare tactics to get me to spend thousands.

I liked it that the guy came an adjusted the AC and he said we would get better output and he was right. The AC just worked better after he did that and he said it was in good shape even though it was 13 years old. I bought for the wrong thing. I bought for a service charge and I was trying to purchase a check up, so I had to pay an extra $20. I had them out before and I liked them so I went ahead and did it. I liked everything because we have used them before because they are very fair and they don't try to upsell you stuff. The man was polite and professional. The house felt cooler almost immediately. He gave me advice for keeping things cut down around the air conditioner.

I like everything about them, there was nothing to dislike.
