The service call did not start well. The technician said he would have to charge me for a service call because an A/C clean was the only information in his notes. I explained I had gone over the fact that the A/C was not working and the outside unit was not turning on, with the person who took the appointment and the Angie's List Deal included either a service call or cleaning. He eventually relented and repeatedly blamed the person who took the call for not communicating the correct information. That's something I find particularly aggravating when a service person tries to act like they are doing you some big favor by abiding by the terms of service, and throws another employee under the bus. Once we got past the initial disagreement the service call went fine. He performed a check of the A/C unit and pointed out the part that was malfunctioning. He did also rinse off the outside of the A/C unit cage and I believe he lubricated some interior part that was in need. The cost of the capacitor replacement was $266 and the Angie's List deal was $49.95, for a total of just over $300.

they did a great job. The team of installers was professional; maintained a clean work environment; were pleasant and completed the job within the time quoted. We have been customers of theirs for 15 years and they have always exceeded our expectations. In the past they have installed a 2nd zone HVAC unit ( where none existed!) and replaced a water heater. With a service contract they respond within 24 hours to any issue problem and always seem to find a solution... The best HVAC company in the area

They were fantastic. They came out almost right away. It was a good deal. The guy that came was definitely a pro. He is licensed in three states, he knows his business.

They were very professional. They showed me how to use it after they installed it and I was pleased with that.

I choose not to use this Big Deal because there was a total charge of $109.00 for this service to be done on either the AC or the furnace.

I bought one of the Big Deals on Angies List ($200 worth of plumbing for $100). When he arrived in a beautiful new company service vehicle, the company representative and plumber (Eric) seemed competent and professional-- but maybe a little too smooth: Indeed I began to question my "big deal" when the first thing the plumber/salesman did after looking at my requested service was to try to sell me an "elite service plan" for an ongoing $19 a month charge (minimum 12 months, automatically renewing after that unless canceled by me) that would entitle me to some discounts and priority service. Then he laid out what my service was going to cost me with and without the service plan: $111 with the service plan vs $131 without the service plan -- for the pop-up assembly $172 with the service plan vs $203 without the service plan -- for each of the 2 dripping lavatory faucets (I couldn't imagine why the cartridge for each faucet would cost $203 but I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt. I thought the labor might be the issue, but I naively failed to question the estimate.) I was beginning to think that the Big Deal smacked a little of "bait and switch." Maybe more to the point, I was beginning to feel the "Service Pros" could better be described as the "Service Cons," playing some kind of con game. After the sales pitch, I opted for the service to be done without the elite service plan. At least I thought my Angies list discount made the prices seem less exorbitant (but maybe that's the running rate. I must admit I did less research on Angie's list after I had procured the Big Deal). In the end, the 2 dripping faucets and the new plunger mechanism in the sink cost me $466 ($366 to Service Pros on the day of service plus $100 up front when I bought the Big Deal. I think the plumber arrived around 8:30 and he was out of the house at 9:50 (which I noted on my job receipt). I'd guess at least 20 minutes were wasted on the sales pitch. My belief that the sink repair would take extended labor was thus disproven. All in all, I have to admit that the new cartridges in the Delta faucets have stopped the dripping altogether. The bathroom sink still drains slowly at times (but not as slowly as before); it's "passable," requiring occasional manipulation, with lifting and twisting by hand to get things going. Brenda from Service Pros gave me a follow-up call and left a nice message asking me about the service and leaving her number. I never did call back. I felt slightly embarrassed that I paid what seemed a lot for the work done. I still feel that way, but, then again, maybe I'm way off base. I still haven't done the research to see what other plumbers charge for comparable work. I just wanted to leave it behind me. Maybe by writing this review, I've finally done so. I apologize to Service Pros if their business is just doing what everybody else does as they try to seek extra revenue. It just left me feeling a little bit "taken."

Great advice, diagnosis, execution.

She (femaie plumber) checked all three toilets for the price of one because they didn't all need the specific tune-up bought in the big deal. she gave good advice about keeping toilets functioning and a price on replacing all three (too expensive for now). She was very professional and friendly.

Managed to keep our A/C alive and have done a wonderful job. They are a privately owned company. There was a day where it was pouring down rain and one of the workers was out there with an umbrella working to make sure the A/C was working properly. They are dedicated workers and I would highly recommend them to others in the area.

They went to a lot of extra trouble to make sure we were satisfied and the had consistently great, openly and friendly attitudes.

Outside faucet would leak into basement when turned on. The technician explained the problem, showed me the old faucet which had split. He installed a frost free hose faucet. He was very professional, and efficient. This is the 2nd time I have used this company, and I have been happy with their services each time.

Scheduled a visit quickly. They arrived on time, were very thorough and professional, completed work to our satisfaction.

The service tech evaluated the problem, recommended what needed to be done and repaired the problem. He also gave me advice on some additional items that needed a little attention. Very personable and professional.

This was an excellent Big Deal. The person I spoke with to set up the appointment was very friendly and professional. The technician showed up on time. He was prompt and professional as well. His worked was done efficiently and was very thorough.

He was very polite and did a great job only took about 30 minutes.

They were supposed to fix a problem with my drain. He said he didn’t need to take pictures because he knew what the problem was. It didn’t fix the problem. I called him back and again asked for him to take pictures. They were supposed to give me a DVD, which they never did. I decided to not use them for the second deal.

Our Downspout lines were clogging, Service pros came in and scoped the line to look for collapsed pipe. We found the issue was old collapsed drain pipes and went with another company to fix it.

Fine. He found no tree roots in the pipes. The company called ask expected, and he arrived on time.

I was OK with that but a little disappointed I was spending more money. Then the plumber was working on the faucet and she broke a pipe on the water meter. I was told that to fix it, the cost would be $500 but she would do it for $250. We were very upset that this happened and felt that Service Pro should have fixed this since it was working fine before she turned off the water. We don't know if she turned the faucet too tight and caused the problem but we have had other people at our house turning the water off and on and there has never been an issue. I did call the company and they did reduce the price to $150 to fix the pipe. I had no water so what could I do expect pay the price. The plumber was frustrated and wanted to leave and have us have it fixed on our own. I told her we could not be home without water. I did investigate after they left what other companies would have done in a similar situation. I was told if they break something they would just fix it and not charge the customer. It was fixed but when you think you are spending $49 and wind up spending $250 I think you have a right to be upset and disappointed with the service. Therefore, I would not recommend using this company again.

We bought 3 Angie's List deals at $49 a piece for servicing an A/C unit (we have 3 units). We called Services Pro's and they said the $49 price was meant only for 1 unit and that subsequent units should have been full price but since it said otherwise on the deal (it said something like "buy additional deals for more than 1 unit"), Service Pro's readily honored the 3 deal coupons and scheduled us for a service date. The technician who came out was a little late because it was raining on and off and Service Pro's was thinking about canceling, but he came out nonetheless. I needed to go to work and asked him if he could do the service without me there, and while he seemed a little uncomfortable being in my house alone he said it was okay. I left and he called me a few hours later to tell me he was done. He explained the condition of each A/C unit and talked me through 2 smaller fixes he suggested on the oldest A/C unit. He wrote up a quote and left it on my counter as I asked. Overall, very great experience and I was impressed by their customer service and the fact that they honored the three deal coupons without any hassle.
