+ -1 moreThat one went safe. No, it would have been same time as the other one, basically, either November or December, being corrected by the boss saying that it was January of this year. They had a whole slew and she had purchased and they were expired and anti of them and they all had the deal way after the past. In this case, we knew we were having some problems with our water heater and we did it at the time we bought it. We were not having any trouble when we bought it, about the time we actually activated it, we knew we had some issue, so, it was kind of a confirmation of what the existing issues might be on our water heater and he did the same on the whole rest of the house to give us an overall status of what our plumbing look like and then they just used it either existed or might existing on their future. He was very punctual and professional. He was extremely thorough and very layman plumber. Even though he was extremely thorough, he was able to put it in a discussion that I could understand, what was this and that, what do I need to do, and who do I need to call.

I had mentioned I had other estimates done and the man kept trying to get me to tell him who else did the estimates, the price I was given and the time frame. I was not very happy about this as that should not matter the estimate he is giving me. His verbal estimate was that it would take 4 times longer and cost 2 times more than other estimates I received. He also told me I needed a diagnostician and not an estimator, which is what he is. I found this a little rude considering I called the office and told them what I needed done and they sent out the estimator. I did not specifically ask for an estimator over a diagnostician and did not know that they use a diagnostician and then an estimator.

+ -1 moreHe was great and calmed me because I was worried. A salesman came that night went over everything I needed. They were here by 10:30 in the morning with the new furnace. They didn’t even charge me for an emergency fee. They were extremely accommodating. He showed me what we wrong with the furnace. They were very professional yet easy to talk to.
Description of Work: Last year they fixed a major plumbing inlet to the house. They were professional, so sweet, and clean. Last week my carbon monoxide detector went off. I called and he came without about a half hour.

+ -1 moreThe furnace broke while we were out of town. When I called them they came on a Saturday evening to check it and hopefully fix it. We hand a neighbor who had a key to our house. The technician called to tell us what the problem was and the price. He also called to let us know that the motor he had on his truck would not fit our unit. He was kind and shut our water off to avoid our pipes from bursting. He came back the following Monday and was able to complete the job and get us up and running before we returned home that evening. I would so 100 % recommend this company for anything that can be done by them. The place is cleaned up before they leave and they all have been very polite and honest. Thanks a lot TEAM JACOB'S

Then she was not available by phone directly for months. Then she was not there at all. Then the company became a different company. Then they didn't answer their phones at all. I believe they are out of business.

Description of Work: I contacted ServicePros to arrange for a plumber for the next day to repair a broken water line and to drain and move a water heater so that we could complete restoration work at our church. I explained that we had a construction crew working on site and that this was critical. The dispatcher said that they could even do the work that evening, if I wanted them to. This was certainly acceptable and I agreed to meet their plumber at the church at 5:30, which was 40 minutes from the time of my call. Five minutes later, their plumber called me to say that he was only ten minutes away from the church. I explained that I had been given a time of 5:30, but that I would leave immediately and get there as quickly as possible. I did, in fact, arrive at 5:30, took the plumber inside and showed him the location of the work. As I began to explain the scope of the work, he said that it was more than he was told, but quickly said that he might have overlooked his email, as that is how they get their service orders. He checked his email and confirmed that the full scope of the work was, indeed, included in the service order. Notwithstanding, he quickly informed me that this was just too much for him to do on this service call and that it would require two trips: one to repair the broken line and a second call--two days later--to drain and move the water heater. Now, the person who took my call understood the scope of the work very well; it was in the email that they sent to their plumber. I had to make an extra trip of 12 miles only to discover that ServicePros had pulled a 'bait and switch'. The servicing plumber informed me that they have ignorant call center personnel that take calls and set appointments; they are not knowledgeable or informed about plumbing and so they cannot communicate with customers in a knowledgeable manner. I am a professional who has been in the construction business for over 35 years and it is my considered opinion that they lied to me just to 'get their foot in the door'. Well, instead they lost a potential customer, as well as the potential business from my associations.

Arrived on time, put booties on to keep home clean, did thorough maintenance call, including bleeding ALL radiators (first time this ever done or suggested over 20 yrs of using other providers). No sense of rushing through a discounted service call. Provided quote for replacement of malfunctioning pump not working at full capacity; as optional future service call. Although an expensive part replacement, no up-selling or exageration of problem, just the facts m'aam. Offered to coordinate free estimate for boiler replacement if there was interest, as boiler is over 50 yrs old. Furnace working better after he left.

+ -1 moreIt has not been good. The pipes they had to access were in the ceiling of our basement. They burnt a hole in the paneling in our finished basement. That happend at the end of August and we are still trying to get it resolved. I would recommend that nobody uses their plumber services.

+ -1 moreIt was 20 degrees out side. Install took from 9AM to 6PM. By 10PM that night the unit stopped working, I called for service but they wouldn't come out until 8AM the next morning. Paid $7,000 for a new furnace and I was without heat for 24 hrs.
Description of Work: Installed a new central heating and air conditioning unit both heat pump outside in inside unit and ductwork.

+ -1 moreThe company arranged to have their service people respond the same day I called. Once they arrived, they promptly diagnosed the problems and then fully explained the needed corrective actions plus the costs. After I agreed, they proceeded to quickly and completely clear the clogs. Furthermore, they advised me about preventative measures for the future as well as the general condition of all of all my sewage lines. They were very friendly, considerate, and professional. They even answered some questions about other plumbing concerns in my house. The total costs were their normal rate of $99 for clearing the sewage line from my house to the street plus $99 for for clearing the interior line. Normally they would have charged more for the latter, but they gave me a break on that. I could not be more happy with them.
Description of Work: Unclogged my exterior sewage line and an interior sewage line. The clogs were causing sewage to back up through floor drains into my basement, so my need was urgent.
