Sherriff Goslin did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and for the price quoted. They were very professional and did a great job.

They were fine. They gave me a pretty good price, but I don't remember how much it was. The quality was good. I especially liked the representative that came out. He was very nice and he seemed knowledgeable. I would use them again in the future.

Sherriff-Goslin replace roofing that the company installed approx. 20 yrs ago. The need for replacement was due to underlayment problems under the original roof that Sherriff-Goslin had covered approx. 20 yrs ago. Had the underlayment issues not existed the 20 yr old Sherriff-Goslin roof probably would have lasted at least another 5 yrs. You pay more for the Sherriff-Goslin product, but I believe that you get a superior product that provides long term value. In hurricane winds of Sept. 2009, our roof was the only one among our neighbors that came through completely in tact. We originally chose the SG product because the roof slope is gentler than most. Winds can strike it and have a scooping effect rather than a sharp vector. By design SG roofs resist that better than the typical flat shingle. As far as workmanship, the workers are enthusiatic, diligent, and thorough. The SG supervisor treated them respectfully and commented on the skills of several in the crew who had some longevity with the company. We highly recommend Sherriff-Goslin.

I had used them prior to this job, so I decided to go with them for this job. I was satisfied with both experiences. They were very professional and prompt. They got the job done quickly. I really didn't have a problem with them.

Things turned out very well. We were generally happy with the work they did.

The roofing work was done about five or six years ago. We really liked them. We had them come back to install gutters about two months back. We?ve always had a good experience with them. We weren?t here when they installed them, but I guess the work went fine. We haven?t had enough rains to know if the gutters work fine or not. They are very quick and efficient. We have had no problems with them whatsoever. They did a previous house we owned, and that?s how we called them a second time. We didn?t get an estimate from anyone else because we were always pleased with them. We have hired them three times. They did the roofing job in one day, and it was the same with the gutters. They have always been really good. The only reason we went with them the first time is the fact that they were driving by one day when my dad was up on a roof trying to patch something around the fireplace. They stopped by and told him that they would do it. They went up on the ladder, did the job and started to drive away. They said we didn?t have to pay them anything. They said my dad didn?t need to be up on the ladder trying to do what he was doing. We thought anybody that was so kind deserved our business whether they were expensive or not.

They were very nice. We had a bid that was a tad better so we took that bid. They were lovely people. I would recommend them to anybody. They looked at the roof and gave us the quote. They were so professional and so well educated. Even though they didn't do the job they were wonderful people. I absolutely would use them in the future.

We had a leak in our kitchen that we believed based on the location was coming from the siding. Dan came out on 3 separate occasions to examine the problem and give me estimates on various aspects of the project. I had numerous companies come out to try to diagnose where the leak was coming from. Everyone commented that it was a difficult problem to diagnose. Dan was the only one that was able to conclusively diagnose the problem. During Dan's 1st visit, he completed a quick fix free of charge to me. He told me that this fix often corrects the problem and to watch the spot. Other companies were trying to sell me on expensive repairs. After a big rainstorm, I observed that the leak was not corrected. I was ready to replace my roofing flashing based on other's recommendations and called Dan for an estimate. Dan could have easily sold me roofing flashing. Instead he was honest with me that he didn't believe that was the problem and was able to easily explain to me his reasoning in a way I could understand. He spent hours trying to diagnose the problem including examining my entire roof and taking portions of my siding off (which most companies wouldn't touch). After careful examination, he was able to diagnose exactly where the water was coming in by finding definite water lines instead of a "best guess." I hired him to fix the leak as described above. After being very satisified with his completion of this project, I called him to give me an estimate to wrap all of my fascia and corner boards which I subsequently hired him to complete. All of the work looks great. Everything was completed in a professional and timely manner.

Within ten years the Roof was well worn, some spots needed replacement immediately and remainder of Roof was "tacky" looking and clearly was not going to last much longer. Original Roof is now aprox 15 years old and is worn, damaged, and needs to be replaced. "SG" reluctantly and with considerable "attitude" did replace 1/2 half of garage roof, only, and that piece (apx 5-6 years old) is quite worn as well. On questioning Manager re: salesmans 30 year warranty statement.....response was "(name) would never have made that statement". Advice: Buyer Beware, Read everything with this company, or, better yet, do business elsewhere.

I called several gutter replacement companies and got estimates. I contacted Sheriff-Goslin and talked with Tom Swan. The next day he looked at the job and gave me an estimate. I gave the go-ahead to complete the work. The job was scheduled for a Monday, but due to the installer workload they were not able to get to my job until Tuesday. Tom Swan called me to let me know that they would be unable to come on Monday and he assured me they would be there the next day. As promised the job was completed the following day. The quality of the material and the workmanship met my expectations. I will definitely consider them for any roofing needs that I may have.

Approximately 8 years ago we got an estimate for shingle replacement. We could not afford the estimates we were given. Fast forward to November 2009: I was checking on insulation in the attic when I found black mold plastered to the roof. Everywhere. Our family was kicked out of our home in 2001 for mold re-mediation. Now it was back and the urgency escalated. I called a half dozen roofing companies for estimates. Two roofing companies never got back in touch (another story). The day we were ready to chose, our neighbor reminded us of their remarkable satisfaction with Sheriff-Goslin and Tom Swan. One call to one man (Tom) and in one day we had our lowest estimate. Tom promised an 'army' of roofers and would have the tear down, re-build, guttered, soffited, spouted and shingled, all done in one day. He wasn't kidding when he said an 'army'! Our concerns about a complete tear down in the dead of winter were completely wiped clean. The look of the shingles, the worksmanship, the beautiful new gutters - out of this world. We discovered during the estimates our homes are not in code with ventilation. Tom brought our home to code. The ONLY frustration has been having this beautiful new roof and there's been snow covering it since the day after it was finished - we can't see it! Our friends, as well as Tom assured us of Tom's quick attention to detail should anything go wrong. There is no competition, why would anyone go with any other company?!

Everything was good about them which included their products and even their service.

S-G installed a roof for me this past spring. This winter a shingle came loose after a strong wind storm. I called Dan Duda who I had previously worked with on a Monday morning and THAT afternoon a man was on my roof fixing it and inspecting the rest. Excellent service and would highly recommend.

They did a fantastic job! It was a wonderful experience. They were out very quickly. They came and did our roof sooner than they said. They were done in less than days and cleaned up after themselves each day. The roof was done very well.

After the hurricane passed through, it was hard to get any roofer to return calls and/or come out to my hone to give an estimate. I found Sherriff-Goslin while in a near by store. I had gone past their Fairfield location on many occasions, so I decided to stop in personally and ask for help. The office worker was on the phone at the time. I sat and waited. When she hung up, she started making notes from her call, then the phone rage again and she answered it. She was on the phone another 10 to 12 minutes. When she hung up, she apologized and said the phone did not have a hold button and this was her first day in the office. The phone rang again and she answered it. This time when she hung up, I asked her if she could take a minute and leave the phone off the hook to talk to me. She said yes, and I told her my story of needing someone to look at my roof for an estimate and determine if I needed a tarp until work could be done. She was very patient and mentioned the company was taking care of persons around the general area of the store first. I said that was good because my house was less than 5 minutes away and she said the company crews were working nights and Saturdays. She took down my information and said they would call. Never heard from them.

In one word, excellent. My main reason for updating at this time is the excellent follow up after the September 14, 2008 wind storm in Cincinnati, with 84 MPH gusts in my area of West Chester. Their Art-Loc storm proof shingles stood up to this hours long onslaught. I am at high point in West Chester and only lost TWO shingles right at the edge. Where neighbors with standard style shingles lost entire sections. Because my damage was very minor I did not call Sherriff Goslin immediately as I was sure they were swamped. To my pleasant surprise their crew showed up unannounced two days after the storm, inspected the entire roof for damage and replaced the two shingles in minutes and were on their way to other customers in the neighborhood. This what I call customer service!! I highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

No wonder the company has been in business for over 100 years, and has over 25 locations in several states!

Dan Duda was our contact and he couldn't have been more professional and friendly. We have a large roof and he suggested a new type of shingle that has a slate-like appearance. He could put it over our existing shingles and also ended up saving us more than $5K over other bids. There were several other homes in the neighborhood that had them installed as well and they turned out great. They came in with a large crew and had the job finished in two days just as he said. And when they left you wouldn't have know they were there had it not been for the new roof. I would definitely use them again for any roofing issues.

These guys are FABULOUS. The same guy who quoted us, was there most of the day with a crew of 3. They tore 2 layers of old roof off and put it in a dumpster, no mess. Then they discovered VERY rotten framing and plywood. Tim came and told me, that he'd fix it and get the materials. Cost: materials + $150. No lie. He had to do repairs on 3 sides and it took him a while. He got all the supplies and did the work himself. Then he left and let his crew do the roofing. They have a special shingle, that looks like a diamond pattern you see on old barns. It went up fast and the crew did a great job. They spoke almost no English and asked very politely for an electrical cord, about 1/2 way through. Then, I saw them pull out a microwave, but it on the hood of their truck and nuke their lunches. I had to about beg them, to eat at the patio table, instead of in their hot truck. Brought them a pitcher of tea and was well rewarded with them finishing at the end of day #2. Clean & perfect!

Tom was very nice and very prompt. He answered lots of questions. However, his roofing bids were about $2,000 above other bids, and I was not convinced that Sherriff-Goslin's roofs were worth that much more money, so we went with another roofer.

Their shingles are a different design and appear to be better made than most on the market. That is one of the key reasons, I chose this company. They did all the work in one day, but it was a long day, and the clean up was a little less than perfect. A phone call was all that was needed for them to return and finish the clean-up. The roof looks great with diamond shaped shingles. The professionalism of the job foreman and owner was good. They returned calls and proactively called to follow-up on the quotes.

REALLY LIKED THE INTERLOCKING SHINGLES. THE CREW THEY SENT OUT GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. THEY WERE SLOW THROUGH THE SALES PROCESS, BUT GOT THE JOB DONE VERY WELL. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR WORK SO MUCH SO THAT THROUGHOUT MY FAMILY AND BUSINESS THEY HAVE REPLACED FIVE OTHER ROOFS NOW.

WE HAD HAIL DAMAGE. THEY DID COME OUT FOR ESTIMATE AND TOOK MEASUREMENTS. HE SAID WE WOULD HAVE ESTIMATE IN MAIL WHEN WE CAME BACK FROM VACATION. IT WAS NOT. CALLED AND COMPANY NEVER RETURNED CALLS. INSURANCE COMPANY SOMEHOW WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE PRICING INFORMATION BUT NEVER GAVE ME THE INFORMATION.

WONDERFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. HAD THE COMPLETE JOB DONE IN 2 DAYS, WHICH WAS A TEAR OFF OF OLD ROOF, INSTALL NEW ROOF AND NEW GUTTERS. NO UGLY DUMPSTER IN THE DRIVEWAY, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES EACH DAY. QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT..WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. MAY FIND CHEAPER, BUT TO ME ITS WORTH PAYING A LITTLE EXTRA FOR QUALITY.
