The team was professional and fast.

Everything went great. Dan worked with usand our insurance company to get partial coverage. They were promt, and the work done was excellent, we had a higher quality dimensional roof installed. A lot of the houses in our area had roofs damaged by a storm that moved through, and we were definetly impressed with the workmanship of this company compared to some of the others in the neighborhood. We'd use them again.

Great service! We talked to a number of roofing companies, and while they were not the least expensive we wee most comfortable with them. We were very pleased with the service.

On 10/31/2013 we had a whole new roof put on as well as replacing of wind damaged siding and shutters. Right from the start Justin was a professional. There was no high pressure sales either. The work took less than 2 days for a complete tear off and replacement. Justin oversaw the project and everything was completed perfectly. We are very happy with our new roof and would wholly recommend Sherriff-Goslin.

I contacted Sheriff-Goslin on a Wed. at almost 5 pm. I was afraid I wouldn't get a hold of anyone since most businesses were closing for the day. Justin answered and I briefly explained our predicament to him. We had some shingles come loose because of the recent ice/snow/wind. Sheriff-Goslin hadn't installed our roof but the company that did wasn't available for 2 weeks. We were having a showing of our house in 4 days and didn't have any time to wait. I wasn't sure that anyone would be able to come out on such short notice especially because of the snow. Justin said he would check his schedule when he got back to the office and would call me back in about 5 minutes. He did and said that he would be able to come out first thing in the morning. He estimated the cost to be about $700. While my husband and I were hesitant at the price, we knew we had to jump at the chance that it would be fixed the next morning. Justin gave me his cell # and I did call him the next morning when they were running a little late. He explained that they waited a little just because the temperatures were so frigid (which was completely understandable) but that they were on the way. Justin and another gentleman arrived soon after and got right to work. They took their time to make sure that the shingles were replaced correctly and checked the rest of the roof for me to make sure that there were no other issues. Justin told me that if I had any other problems to give him a call and he would come back. Best of all, the bill ended up only being about $288. I was truly impressed with Justin's responsiveness. He was very kind and professional which you don't get a lot these days. I am so happy that I found Sheriff-Goslin and gave them a call. Justin helped us out when we were in a true bind. I felt completely confident with the work that they did and will definitely call them back and recommend them to friends and family.

I was very happy with all of the service provided by Sherriff-Goslin. My first contact with them was at the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show. I met Dan Duda there and got a very good feeling about him from the very start. There was no high pressure type sales going on. After getting their contact information at the show I was put in touch with Justin Janszen. When he came to my home to do the estimate he was very knowledgeable about the roofing business. Sherriff-Goslin was the third company that I had come to the house for estimates and they really stood out because of Justin's knowledge as well as professionalism. I had storm damage to my roof and part of the work being done was an insurance claim. Justin worked very hard with the adjuster answering all of his questions, returning his calls in a timely manner and at the same time looking out for my interest and making sure that the insurance company was covering everything I was entitled to. Sherriff-Goslins prices were a little bit higher than the other prices I had gotten but I truly feel that it was well worth it for the quality of work they provided. They showed up in the morning with a large crew and got right to work. They kept the work area very neat and clean. Justin was there through out the day and kept me informed as to everything that was going on. They stayed until about 7 that evening and had the job done in one day. They left the whole are very clean. I am very happy with the work!! If you are in need of a new roof I would definitely call Justin Janszen at Sherriff-Goslin.

We woke up to leak in our roof on Fourth of July. We called Sheriff-Goslin and Justin Janszen was here within an hour. He checked the attic and climbed on the roof in pouring rain. He inspected the roof, found broken shingle, and caulked where it was leaking. He didn't charge us anything even though it was a holiday. He said if the caulk doesn't do the trick to call him back and he'll come out again. Very polite and professional.

In April, a severe hailstorm damaged our roof, gutters and and some of siding. A number of other homes in the area suffered similar damage. Within a couple of days, quite a few roofers were making the rounds through the neighborhood, offering their services. We had heard horror stories from other homeowners about "storm chaser" companies, most of which are based out of town, that come calling after a storm like ours. So we were cautious. I used Angie's List to research all of the companies that had left cards, flyers or voice messages. Sherrif Gosling Roofing has one of the better performance records and evaluation history, so I settled on them. That proved to be a great decision. I worked with Tom Swan. Tom was terrific. We arranged an appointment. He arrived on time and was just great. He surveyed the roof, brought me photos of the damaged areas. Tom answered all of our questions about what would be needed to repair the roof and how Sherriff Goslin would interact with our insurance company. From there, it all went smoothly and without hassle. I scheduled an appointment with our adjuster. Tom made a point to be here so that he could interact with the adjuster directly. We then made arrangements for the repairs. We settled on a date. But as it happens there was break in the schedule, so Tom was able to send out the crew a few days earlier. The crew also was first-rate. Professional. Diligent. They tore off the damaged roof and completely reshingled the entire roof and replaced the gutters in just a day, cleaning up as they went. The roof /gutters look great. My wife and I are extremely pleased. We hope not to replace the roof again for many years, but if the need arises, we will be calling Tom and Sherriff-Goslin.

sherrif goslin reroofed my house in 2005. Had large hail storm and Tom from Sheriff-|Goslin came by and told me that they also do siding. Tom and Insurance adjuster both inspected the roof, siding, shutters and came to a conclusion that all of the above were needed. Tom, came over to the house with roof and siding samples that turned out to look great. Tom came over several times during the siding and he was there for the day that the roof was installed. Tom also saved the insurance company and me a few thousand dollars by correcting the adjusters bid to be lower. Sherrif-Goslin did a fantastic job in production and customer service.

Tom and Dan are as reliable and professional as you could possibly want in roofing/home repair experts. When I moved into the house, the roof was under a warranty from the previous owner. Yet Tom and Dan have treated me as if I was the one who initially purchased the roof. Since I've moved into the house, they have also taken care of my leaky chimney including masonry work, capping the chimney, replacing the flashing and sealing the chimney. I've utilized them on and off over a period of two years and they are great to work with. They are very clean, take precautions when they came in to access the attic through one of the bedrooms, and are thorough. They have been patient with me and my wife as we call them with questions. I will use them again and highly recommend them. They are the type where I would have no problem telling them the house is unlocked and do the work they need to do while I am away. Trust like that is hard to come by.

In an industry that is froth with unqualified and dishonest people, it was a relief and pleasure to find Tom at Sheriff Goslin. I was not a member of Angie's list at the time, but Tom stood out from 7 other roofers I had come to my home. I went on the roof with all of them and Tom provided the most comfort and confidence of all 7. My job went absolutely perfect on all levels, PERIOD. I have recommended Tom and Sherriff Goslin to 4 neighbors who did use Tom's services, and also had pleasant experiences. This brings me to the reason for writing this review. Two days ago I stopped in at the Sherriff Goslin office in Fairfield not far from mine, to ask Tom for a quote on a new building I bought. Tom thanked me for my loyalty and happened to mention to me about the D rated review given to him. Without Tom's knowledge, when I had the time I went on Angie's list to see what he was talking about because I could not imagine this with Tom and Sherriff Goslin. I cannot personally attest to either party's remarks, but for whatever it is worth, based on myself, 4 neighbors, and Tom's communication with all of us before during and after the jobs, I find it very difficult to believe Tom never responded, with his calls being forwarded to his cell phone when out in the field for personal or voice mail answering. My bottom line here is this, out of 22 reviews, 19 are "A" 1 is a "B" and 2 are a "D". The D from 2010 is sketchy at best. Let 20 of 22 be your guide. In an industry like roofing, Sherriff Goslin deserves the respect it is entitled too. With all due respect, 19 people did not give A ratings with a gun to their heads. Again, this is an unsolicited review, and totally independent of my own doing because I feel this strong about a person and his company. As long as I ever need to purchase a new roof, Tom and Sherriff Goslin will be my first choice.

I called and talked to Tom ( I believe) about getting two roof replacement estimates for a house I was purchasing and for a house I am going to be selling. Tom was very pleasant and informative during the call. He indicated he would go by the homes and provide me with an update on the status of the roofs and an estimate on the work that needed to be done. I did not hear anything from him for two weeks, so I called again. This time I left a voice mail saying I was following up on our call from a few weeks prior. That message was left roughly 10 days ago and I still have not heard anything from the company. I disagree to the response to my review. The provider has yet to contact me at either of the phone numbers I provided. In my initial discussion with the provider there was no mention by me of looking for the lowest cost, etc. I was simply trying to get an estimate on replacing the roof on two homes. I'm not that hard to reach. If the provider wanted to provide the estimates or apoligize for not getting back to me they could have reached me.

It was excellent. They ended up saving us $1000 by using the exciting shields. In fact, we had a problem; we ran into one of them and they came back out and re-bolted it free of charge.

I got the help and information I needed to continue the project.

I discussed with Kyle and Robert what I wanted. They gave me some options and estimates. They came to do the work exactly when they said they would. The team did a wonderful job. Kyle came back out to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I was very impressed by this. There was a small issue by the deck which they needed my approval for in order to finish the job (I was not home during the installation). I gave the approval and Kyle sent someone out very quickly and finished the last downspouts. Kyle called thereafter to make sure everything was as I expected. What a great company and great team. Super professional. The gutters look great and work as they should.

It went great....no problems.........everything that was promissed was done quite well and I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Came out for an estimate and to meet with insurance adjuster. Finished my roof and gutters in one day. I dealt with Tom Swan who was quick to reply to any questions through email or over the phone.

I dealt with Dan Duda who is their field specialist. He was my point man and the communication was great. He actually came out twice to explain the different options for us. He also made sure that we would get a date set before the busier months and the teams arrived on time with great results. They even gave us recommendations of roofs to look at and they had great reviews from those individuals. I especially liked that he worked closely with an asbestos removal company and made it a seamless process.

They told us they would do it in one day, and they did! They worked fast and efficiently, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Our roof looks great, and we would highly recommend them. Our neighbors have even came by to tell us how great it looks.

They have an excellent reputation in this area. They were quick and honest. They did excellent work.

I have a fourteen year old roof that developed a leak around skylights. I assumed it was the actual skylight but when Tom Swan, local SG manager came to inspect, he found shoddy installation work done from original roofer. He could have told me we needed new skylights and we would have not known better. He looked at all three skylights, chimney, plumbing and ridge vents and other places on roof. He sealed flashing and exposed nails in various places which he said caused the leaks. When I asked how much the work would cost , he said no charge. I could not believe my ears. He was very knowledgeable and honest. I assume the work done by Tom has solved the problem. He said if not, call him and he will return. When it comes time for a new roof, we will go to Tom and Sheriff-Goslin first.

They completed the whole project in one day, on a 2,100 sq ft house. Workers were very professional, and cleaned up the area around the house.

Went well, long day. Crew was pleasant, efficient and hard workers.

Sherriff-Goslin was quite professional from the quote to the install as a matter of fact they even checked in with us a year later to make sure we were happy and had no issues. Overall, I highly recommend this company and would use this again if the need arose. The install went very well and the cleanup after the work was fantastic. The crew was professional and we were very comfortable having them around to do the work.

We have a roof warranty from the prior owner. Regardless, they have been very responsive and timely as if we were the original owners. They have been great to work with. With leaks around chimneys, it can get tricky - but they've been working hard and isolated the problem. I'll use them when its time to replace the roof in the future.
