Ray St. Clair Roofing, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business. Our company was founded in 1954 by Raymond A. St. Clair. Ray was in the roofing business with his father Walter St. Clair and two brothers beginning in the 1930s. Being a determined and hardworking young man, Ray decided to pursue his dream and started his own roofing company known as Ray St. Clair Roofing with one truck and a crew of three. Description of Work: I did not hire them to do the work. The gentleman who arrived on time for an estimate to replace ONE SECTION of gutter that had been damaged by ice obviously was not interested in such a small job so gave me an outrageous estimate, and was surly. I ended up using another company to replace THE WHOLE GUTTER SYSTEM for roughly $2,000. I didn't even secure a bid from this company because, based on $500 for roughly two feet of gutter, I figure their estimate to replace the whole system would have been ten grand or more. I have. No idea whether they do good work, but my new gutters are beautiful and working fabulously. I would have rather had a patch, however, because at that time, I did not have the money to shell out two grand for new gutters. But if they had repaired the spot for a more affordable price, then when I was better able to afford it, I would have hired them to replace the whole system.

Description of Work: After using them 2 times for loose shingles and being told that the work was done and I should have no further issues ("your roof will last another 10 years"), the following day after a storm, I lost more shingles and many more loosened. I contacted Ray St. Clair and since they were paid, they never returned my call. I required a new roof, since so many shingles were loose. Obviously, I did not use Ray St. Clair.

VERY PROFESSIONAL. VERY COURTEOUS. WORKERS PUNCTUAL AND THOROUGHLY CLEANED AREA AFTER ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED. WOULD USE AGAIN!

WHILE THE WORK PERFORMED WAS DONE WELL, THEY SENT OUT A SINGLE PERSON TO DO THE JOB. AS A RESULT, IT TOOK MUCH LONGER (3 WEEKS) THAN EXPECTED. ALSO, ON SEVERAL EVENINGS HE LEFT LARGE PORTIONS OF THE HOUSE EXPOSED WITH NO SIDING OR SOFFITS/FASCIA OVERNIGHT, EVEN WHEN THERE WAS THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER.
