Ray St Clair Roofing

Everything went well, and I was happy with the work. They charged a reasonable price, did a good job without leaving a mess, and completed the work quickly. In fact, it was almost as if they were never here. Another thing I liked was that I only had to pay 20% of the cost upfront and didn't have to pay the rest until the work had been thoroughly inspected by a company supervisor.

It was fine. They showed up when they said. They cleaned up everything. We have used before.

They were very much on top of their game. They are very knowledgeable and efficient. We hope to inquire with them for roofing in the future.

I have used the company quite a bit. They have done roofing and insulation work, as well. I really like that if you have any kind of concern with their work they are happy to come right out to fix it. Usually a crew of 2-3 technicians come out for a service. They generally seem to know what they are doing and are professional. I have never had any problem scheduling a service with them. It just depends on how busy they are.

He was here on time and completed all of the work in two hours. They are very good and do quality work. They are very honest and upfront. They don’t recommend work that does not need to be done. Their prices are reasonable, but they do have a minimum cost of $150. We have used their services three times at this home and once at my mother’s house as well. They are a really good company.

I called Ray St Clair on three separate occasions to get a roof inspection and repair bid on a house I am buying. Each time, I was told I'd get a return call later that day, but never did. Over the course of a week and a half, I reached out three times, and always got the same runaround. Not only was it near-impossible to get a return phone call, every time I called I had to re-explain the issue. They told me that they would not be able to give an inspection without the current home owner's permission, which I assured was given, and could even loop into the phone conversation if needed, but then when we finally all got on the same page, they wouldn't schedule me until after our specified last possible inspection date. The fact that they didn't seem to care or want the work is insulting. This was going to be a big job. I have since called two other companies with much better reviews and reputations who will be out to give an inspection and bid, and leave me with time and money to spare. Don't give your hard-earned money to a company that doesn't care. Overall, I would say that they seemed too busy/didn't care enough/ or just simply did not want the business. Will not recommend or do business with them in the future.

Went great! We had used Ray St. Clair a few years ago to replace our gutters and they did a great job. This time 20 year skylights were failing and causing some leaking in our sun room. Ray St. Clair came out quickly after our call to give us an estimate. They also suggested some minor repairs to the same roof, and showed us pictures to explain why they were suggesting the repairs. We agreed to the work and understood when to expect completion of the work as the skylights had to be ordered. The skylights arrived earlier than anticipated, and Ray St. Clair contacted us and even did the installation and roof repair on a Saturday, while we were out of town. They even suggested we put down some drop cloths in the sunroom to catch any falling dirt, etc. Everything went great with the installation. All in all, a great experience again with Ray St. Clair Roofing and we will continue to use them in the future.

Our installer, Chris, did a fabulous job. The gutters look great and work great. Chris is a very hard worker and he is very knowledgable both about the work being performed and about the services offered by the company. It was refreshing to have someone who takes so much pride in his work like Chris does. Ray St. Clair also has a quality assurance person -- so someone comes a week after the job is finished to inspect the work and make sure it was done right. We were very impressed. We'd hire them again without hesitation and we'd recommend them to anyone.

Everything went according to their schedule. They worked efficiently and completed the job in three days. Nothing was left lin our driveway or yard. An inspector came out and checked on the work performed. I did have to contact DirecTV as they could not install the special antenna for the satellite signal. I would recommend them to the utmost. I can't remember being as impressed with any service company as this one.I nominate them for the Page of Happiness.

Very professional workers. Job done in a timely manner over a period of 3-4 days. Cleaned up all broken bricks and masonery that was taken down. Very considerate of our landscaping, etc.

We were impressed with the professionalism and quality throughout the project. Not only do they have an on-site crew leader (of a team of 3-4), but also a higher-ranking quality control employee who was involved throughout the project. We did have an issue where some of the new shingles slid off the roof overnight (while being stored for installation the next day) and our gutter was damaged. We called the QC person immediately and he got a brand new gutter ordered and installed in just two days. Overall, it took a few more days than some other roofing jobs, but that was fine with us, because they really took their time and did the job right. Our QC person spent 2-3 hours on the roof after it was all finished checking everything and providing us a summary of what they fixed (from some underlying damage of the original roof) and aspects of our new roof. They are a little more expensive, but they stand by their work and peace of mind is worth it to us.

They are on speed dial. Even the neighbors have used them.

We were pleased with the work. This company also installed our roof, so we felt comfortable having them repair the gutter as well.

They were very friendly and very professional, answering all of our questions and more. They visited our house twice to walk through options and make sure we understood the options available and that best suited our home. Unfortunately we had a large, unexpected expense arise and were not able to continue with this gutter replacement project at this time. However, we will be calling them back hopefully within the next 9 months to 1 year in order to continue this little project and get our gutters flowing smoothly again!

I called the office and asked for gutter cleaning; was told cost was 180.00, for starters , and I would be advised what the final cost would be upon completion of work. I said I didnt want to have someone come out and do work with an unknown cost; someone was supposed to come and give me a free estimate on just what the actual fee would be. That person has never showed up, no phone call to say he had to reschedule. In the meantime, I found another company on Angies List that responded IMMEDIATELY, set up an appointment, told me exactly what would need to be done and quoted me a reasonable price. My gutters are now cleaned out from debris causing much water overflow all around my house . I am confident that when I need a new roof , I will be able to find a roofer that will do quality work and have reasonable rates; Ray StClair seems to charge twice as much as other companies; I simply cannot afford it , I do have a fixed income.

They did a wonderful job. There was no residue left. They did a good job. We were satisfied with everything that they did.

I was pleased with him. He did come the day of. He quoted me one price but the bill was higher, and that was my problem. Now when it rains I have a leak in my window and I have to have someone else come and check it out to make sure I wont have the same issue again this winter.

We went with another company. Had they done the work, I know it would have been of quality.

In general, they were pretty good. The guy on the estimation is very professional and friendly and was very helpful with the talk to the insurance company. The guy working on the copper roof did a superior job and was very professional and friendly. I highly recommended him. I am also happy with the work done on the regular roof. I definitely will hire them again in future.

They did work for me and everything went fine. I liked their reputation and the guarantees and warantees. The price was right what they said it was going to be and they were comparable with anybody else I looked at. Actually, they were more expensive than other companies. The reason I went with them was reputation, warrantees and standing by their work. It was just better to deal with them. I would definitely use them and recommend them.

Did not show for estimate appointment. We called and left a vm with no response that night. Contractor called the next day with little excuse and tried to reschedule, but since this was the second contractor that did not show (first was unrelated) we decided to move on.

Had major leaking in the back. They cut major parts out. You couldn't find 1 nail from the old roof. They cleaned very well.

They did a good job. After the work was completed, we had to have a call back and they were prompt to get back here and fix the problem. They are great with their customer service support. When he came back out he even gave me his cell number in case I had any other issues. They never even mentioned money when they came to do the repair, they wanted to make sure we were satisfied. They are very punctual, they called when they were on their way and they were very friendly and did the job wonderfully.
