Ray St Clair Roofing

They were excellent. They were here on time and it was in the middle of a huge windstorm that we had. They started the job on a Monday morning. They were very professional and I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They cameback out since the first repair didn't work, but with no charge. They were timely and friendly with service.

Very professional and informed me that adding insulation would not result in a significant increase in heat retainment. Therefore, they said that they did not want to waste my money. Their honesty and professionalism made me a customer the next time that I need services that they might perform.

They were prompt and professional. They also were able to do some additional work (the tuck pointing) that was not involved in the original quote at the same time as the original job (for an additional price) with no problems or additional time.

This was several years ago but I recall absolutely no problem, very responsive, communicated well.

We had a leak in the ventilation pipe in the roof of our two story house. While it was a simple problem, we didn't want to go up on the roof ourselves to fix it. Ray St Clair roofing came out, didn't try to charge us any more or diagnose any extra problems with our roof, and fixed it.

It took forever to get an appointment. You can email for an appointment, but they don't respond back. They only respond to phone calls. It took a long time to get an appointment and we had to meet their schedule instead of them meeting ours. The guy that came out was really good. He was really nice and knowledgeable. He gave us a price to replace all the gutters and then he said that if they replaced the gutters and we used the gutter helmets then the installation would be free and we would just pay for the gutter helmets. I asked that it be quoted more ways because there should be a difference in some fashion. The gutter helmet quoted obviously included the gutter work too. I just discounted them at that point. I wasn't angry; I just think either they got confused even though I was pretty clear in what I was asking for. I was disappointed. They were not inexpensive and they were not easy to contact. It was a situation where when they came you had to be there because that is how they worked. It wasn't a situation where they would meet my time schedule. We ended up doing nothing and I went on the roof myself and I make sure that the gutters are clear.

My husband dealt with them, and once they gave their estimate and went over things, we didn't really go after any more bids. We hired them shortly after their estimate, they did the work, and we will likely hire again when we need more roofing or gutter work!

It has been a good experience and I never had any problems with them. I spent about $1250 on this job. They were always very professional and responded to my call. They came out when they said they would, always met their estimates and it was just a very smooth operation.

Their price was extremely high compared to other bids I had received. They kept throwing in extras I didn't feel were necessary at a cost to me. They also passed along several negative comments towards other companies I received estimates from. I felt the sales person was quite arrogant. They felt their company was far superior than all others which turned me off from their company. I'm sure they do good work but I'm glad I chose not to work with them.

I didn't choose them. They were prompt and they were on time. They seemed very professional. The reason I didn't choose them was because they were overpriced. He made the presentation very well and he spent time explaining what they were going to do. I could tell that the guy knew what he was talking about.

They were the highest estimate I got. They did a fine job, but the estimate was just too high.

We looked up for them in Angie’s list, and they had very good comments. They do very good work. Once we had a problem with the gutter again, and they fixed it for us free of cost. They were easy to talk to and easy to have them around. We are very happy with them, and we will use them again. They were always on time.

This would be quite a big job as I have a very large roof. I contacted three companies for bids. The salesman from Ray St Clair was very thorough and patient with all of our questions. Due to the quote being much higher than the other estimates, I opted to work with another company. They also requested to have 1/3 down, while the other companies asked for 10% or nothing at all.

They were great from start to finish. They did a good job cleaning up. They didn't leave anything behind. They did good matching the new shingles with the old shingles. The quality was good. Their prices are a little bit higher than others.

They did not show up on the first appointment date, nor did they call. I had to call them back to reschedule. On the date of the rescheduled appointment, I received a call after they were already supposed to be onsite saying that they were 'an hour away' and asking if "I still wanted them to come out'. It almost seemed like I was bothering them. Anyway, I had them out, but was not impressed with their representative. Once I saw that their price was no where near competitive, we were done....

They replaced the gutter helmets. We had no problems. They were slow to respond and getting the job done. It was to be expected because it was after a hurricane wind. They had more pressing problems.

quick and efficient. after insulation had been blown in, they asked me to look in attic and comment. when I mentioned that one area looked a little lower (less insulation) they hooked the hose back up and blew in more to my satisfaction

I recently had three contractors give estimates for new roof, siding, gutters and windows. All used the same materials. Each gave separate estimates for the different "pieces" of the job. Ray St. Clair was REALLY high; they wanted as much for the job without the windows as the other guys wanted for the complete job including the windows. The other guys showed up to do the estimate within two days of my call; it took Ray a week. I'm sure Ray does quality work, but I don't think he's very hungry

I thought the price was pretty comparable. They did a really good job. They got back to me within a day after I originally called them. They were on time. The only problem that I had was that no one came in to check with me, or give me an up date on what happened when they were done. They were very professional and nice.

I thought that they were very professional. They worked very hard. They wouldn't give me an estimate, they would only give me an hourly rate. I do think that their prices were high for what they did.

Arrived ahead of schedule, very thorough, returned to inspect the finished job. Very satisfied and have recommended them to several other potential customers.

The representative came out two (maybe three?) weeks earlier to write up the estimate. He was curteous and professional. I then waited for the MAILED estimate. I don't spend every waking hour in front of my computer, but honestly, why not email? However, that's a very small complaint. We were in no big hurry, and once they received my MAILED response, they promptly set up the time and date. The roofer came out and quickly and professionally performed the service. No complaints, other than the 'no email' thing.

They were reasonable, on time, and did a good job. I had a good experience.

Rick came out and gave us an estimate of what the work would cost. He was polite, punctual, and knowledgable. The work crew showed up on time, were polite, did the work in a timely fashion, and cleaned up after themselves. It was a very positive experience working with Ray St. Clair.
