Had bad time with installation , was very old doors and garage.. Had clearance problems , installer had problems. Also latter door problems all problems were corrected . Doors look great work great very pleased...

I called the company at around 9am, and Frank, the co-owner, came at around 10:30am. He spent 1 full hour since he had to take down the whole unit and it was hard to reach the screws and nuts. I am happy about his quick response and the quality of the job. He honored the coupon which they put on Anglieslist. The garage door opener is about 2 years old. It is a Genie 900. When it stopped working a few weeks ago, I called Genie and was told that the parts of the opener was still covered by its warranty, but not the labor. The rep did a diagnosis on the phone and told me it might be the coupler. So they mailed me the part, and I had to find some one to replace it. I called 3 places, but only Tri County Door Services was responsive to my calls, so I hired them to do the job and I was happy about the result.

Our opener died on Monday. I called them Monday morning and asked if the could come out by Tuesday. P. I was told they would call 1 hr. before they would show up. I got a call tasting they would be there at noon. They showed up right on time, performed the job in record time, programmed my car, cleaned up, and were done in about an fr. I would recommend them highly. Very professional.

They honored the Angie's List Coupon, called Saturday and performed the work Monday morning. The technician was on time, polite and professional. Will use them again.

They did a great job. They came on time, they told what the problem was, they fixed it, and their price was reasonable. They were very good, they did everything that they said they would do and I would recommend them to others.

We had no problem at all with the service. They were prompt and made sure the door worked while we waited for the parts to fix it. Have had no problems with the door since they repaired it. We would hire them again in the future!

These guys are GREAT. My garage door spring snapped Mother's Day evening. I left them a message that I needed a service call on Monday. I planned to call them right at 830a when they opened. They already called me before 8am! They said they could get me on the schedule for early afternoon, between 11a-1p. by 1045a they were here and by 1115a my door was fixed. They gave me $20 off for the Angie's List service call coupon. I asked them what a new door would cost (other garage guys had said I needed a newer lighter door). They said about $1000 but that my garage door was fine and I didn't need a new one. Nice guys, prompt, good price and they didn't try to rip me off. What more could you want. These guys are the best. Cant recommend them highly enough!!!!

The initial evaluation was quick and clear and within 2 days the new circuit board arrived. It was quickly installed on the following Monday along with additional checks and evaluations to my current garage door setup.

Would definately use them again.

The left spring on our garage door broke. I called right at 8:30am when they were scheduled to open. "Someone would be here between 10:30 and noon." Frank showed up shortly after 11:00 and started taking the springs off at 11:10. He installed the new springs and tightened them each 7 complete turns (28 quarter turns). He oiled the springs, rollers, and tracks and readjusted the force on the garage door opener. He was through and the door worked perfectly at 11:40. I couldn't have been happier as I had to be at work at noon. Each torsion spring was $50. Labor was $45. Service call was $50 minus $20 Angie's List discount.

They did professional work in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price. I would recommend them and would also use them again.

Our old garage door opening system was giving us all kinds of problems, so I called Tri-County Door and their rep came out and was very punctual in arriving, assessed my needs, which included possibly fixing old system, but I decided to have them install a new unit. The company asked for my preferences as far as time of day and day choices, which made it very convenient for me. The day came and Kevin, the installer, was polite, adept, and quietly had everything up and running in about 4 hours. Before he started he went through my choice for location of the key pads, both inside and out ones. He also talked about what he needed to do inside the garage to make the install work properly. When finished he went through all operations and left with the suggestion to call at any time if I had any problem with the unit. All-in-all, a very good experience, as opposed to the one I had about 15 years ago with another company.

The guy came out and told me exactly what was going on. He was able to fix the part that was bent and now the garage door is opening and closing properly. He quoted me with a price to fix the door all the way.

The chains on our ancient 2 car garage door were broken, so the door would not open. The company sent someone to our house within 2 hours. THe part we needed is no longer manufactured. So they returned 2 hours later that same day to replace the part and fix the door.

I have been well pleased with their work. They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up after the work was done and everything seems to be working fine since.

He was very professional and efficient. He explained what had happened and showed me what needed to be repaired. The spring had broken. He gave some maintenance tips as well. He also said that the company which made our opener was no longer in business so parts would be impossible to get if needed in the future. Instead of trying to sell me a new unit; he said that the current one was still good for a few more years.I was extremely pleased with the speed with which Tri-County Door answered my call and completed the work. I would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work.

My experience with this Company was great. They came out on time and didn't even take a break until the job was finished. I did have to call them back a couple days later when one of the rollers kept coming off the track and they came out immediately the next day to fix the problem - very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They job went very well. They installed some weather stripping but it didn't seal properly because of an improper seal. I called the company and they sent me a larger weather strip that solved the problem.

Peter was prompt in coming out to quote and fair in pricing. The new door was installed in a timely manner. Only reason that I gave a B in responsiveness was that I had to call 3 times to get a new quote mailed after making a change to my original order.

Left a message with the answering service for one provider (called before 8 am) but got through immediately to Tri-County Door. The man I spoke to was able to quote an estimate over the phone to replace the spring (didn't try to sell me a second one - generally recommended) but I could see that it was badly rusted and asked if it would be twice as much - it wasn't. With the Angie's list discount off the service call, he estimated it would be a bit over $200-$220 and they could fix it the same day! Kevin arrived within about 3 hours, immediately replaced both springs in record time, then spent a fair amount of time lubricating everything (both sides & up the middle) and making adjustments to balance the door properly. It worked, but vibration along the center (older track in 3 pieces) made it very noisy. With me pushing the button off & on, Kevin did all he could to try to reduce the vibration/noise. He suspected the center track was bent a bit when the door crashed down, and he showed me how the noise/vibration was reduced if he held his hand on certain places in the track. I asked if it needed to be replaced. He suggested we wait and see. He felt it would continue to operate but that it would just be noisier than before. He indicated it wouldn't be worth the cost just to replace the track and that our $ would be better spent just to replace the entire unit when the time came. He also strongly advised against replacing it with the same kind (Genie) that we have now, and quoted a new one (recommended Liftmaster brand) for ~$325 with a chain drive or $345-350 for one with a belt drive (just quieter, not nec better). The final invoice was $174.95, less than the estimated quote. I am quite please and the door still continues to open and close, just a bit noisier than before. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company!

Garage door became very difficult to open. They diagnosed it as a broken spring over the phone. Spring was replaced within two business days of the call. Fixed price for this job.

I'm satisfied. Think I got a good price, too. 8/24/11 and 9/20/10. The company is great as are the employees.

He took about 50 minutes to put in a new drive screw and adjust the door's springs. He also said that the door should continue to function normally for yet some time. I was quite impressed with the person's (Rich's) attitude and helpfulness.
