After receiving a few quotes from different companies, going with Tri-County Door was a simple decision. They were very friendly and polite, knowledgeable and professional when they arrived and their prices were very competitive. Nice discount also using the angie's list coupon. I was happy installation was done by the original estimator, Frank, who is extremely friendly and a great guy to work with. Once Frank and his helper arrived, the completed the job in around 3 hours. Tri-County also included a 3 year warranty on their work and I was happy to deal with a LOCAL company. (Beware of some other companies online who try to appear as local companies, but are only subcontracted by a large national business). Door looks great and I'm glad I paid a little extra to get a row of windows. The new door changed the entire look of my house and created tons of additional curb appeal. Definitely call Tri-County if you're looking at replacing your door. They're a breath of fresh air compared to many other businesses out there.

One of my garage door openers won?t work in the morning. I called Tri-County Door Services and two service technicians were able to come in the afternoon. They quickly identified problem, replaced gear, and the opener worked immediately. They also oiled both garage doors and openers, and adjusted all the torsion springs. Overall, excellent professional service!

Very good professional service. They replaced a big broken spring on our large double garage door, replaced some missing bolts and made the door as quiet as can be. They did great work and used good quality materials as well (the spring they use is definitely better than the one we had!). They made the whole process easy. We felt they were reasonable with what they charged us. We would use Tri County Door again and we would recommend them to others.

Everything ran smoothly. They were prompt and professional and knew what they were doing.

The technician did an excellent job of repairing my garage door. He had to order a part and came back the next day as promised. He was very professional and prompt.

Their pricing was very competitive in line with the reviews. They do use contractors to do the install, but the personnel were competent (in my opinion) straightforward, answering all of my questions about parts, calibration, etc. The door is operating satisfactorily since the install. The door raised one minor question, and a small service issue. They came out readily on time, and resolved both issues. Friendly, open, competent, etc. All good.

He did a good job. Only one person came out and it took around an hour. They repaired an automatic retractable door on one side of my two door garage. Expect prompt, good service. They are curtious and respectful of the property.

Company was great. The crew was great. They were efficient, very polite and did a great job. They did not leave until everything was complete and tested and I was satisfied. I would use them again for any future repairs. Oh, their price was very competitive.

Contacted Peter in Early May. He sent out team to look at broken spring. The team arrived. Evaluated the problem, Clipped the spring and let me know that they would have to order new springs and they would have them in and return in 2 weeks. I also mentioned to them that I would like to have a bottom seal reinstalled and they agreed. I took off the day they were to arrive but they never came out. i contacted Peter a few days later and he said that he tried calling and calling me. My initial responses were via the originall email that I had contacted him through.All of my contact info was listed on it. I am not sure how he would not have my contact info. He happily arranged to have them return that day. When the arrived it was a different technician than the initial visit. This gentleman did seem to be a bit under qualified. He seemed to be having problems with the install and took much longer than expected. After checking on him a few times he seemed to be completed and wanted to show me the finished work. The door did close but the bottom seal was showing way too much of a gap. He started adjusting and adjusting the door opener. This went on for 45 minutes. Granted the door is old and the concrete is not completely level. It just seemed that the technician was a bit under qualified to tackle any issues that were thrown his way. He was quite polite and apologized that it would not seal properly. Once he got it close to an adequate seal he was finished. He asked me if I was happy and i did let him know that I was not but i did realize there were some unforeseen obstacles thrown his way. He did apologize and then presented me the bill. It was as explained. He then offered to go back to talk to someone at the shop who has worked on doors for 40 years and will see what he could do. I was very happy that he was now trying to go the extra mile to get my door to seal. Well I have not heard back from them since and do not expect to. Chalk that one up in the loss column.

I called TriCounty Door Services, Inc., and they were able to come out that afternoon to give me an estimate for replacement garage doors. The representative reviewed my options, a selection was made, and plans were to replace the garage doors. The installers came and got right to work. The old wooden doors were dismantled, new insulated doors installed, and the garage door openers were reconnected. The installers reviewed the maintenance that would be needed the rollers, tracks, and springs to ensure long life of these parts. I would highly recommend Tri-County Door, and I will definitely use them for future needs.

Excellent service and price. The next closest bid was $600 more. They were on time, quick, and polite. One of the contractors had his birthday on the same day the door was installed. One of the parts from the door was missing and he drove all the way back to their warehouse to pick it up and came back on his birthday to install it. They accepted the angies coupons. In my opinion literally no reason to go anywhere else for service.

Everything went well. They scheduled on a day that was convenient for me, they came did the replacement with no loss of time. Very complete, on time and respectful.

I hadn't had my automatic garage door opening mechanism inspected in a few years. It seemd a little noisier than it should, so I wanted some preventative maintenance on it. The gentleman lubricated the moving parts and made some minor adjustments. The door opens smoothly and somewhat quieter now. The service was great. The price was reasonable. I would definitely call them again should the need arise.

They replaced a large garage door. The door they brought had some minimal damage that we noticed after the installer left. I called the company and they immediately sent someone out. They reordered the damaged panel and replaced it within a week.

We called on a Friday and Tri-County was able to send a service technician the following morning (Saturday). The technician called before he arrived, was on-time, and fixed the garage door (new capacitor) within 45-minutes. I marked price as a "B" because I do not have any comparison to indicate whether the price is better than average. I marked professionalism as a "B" because making an appointment was a little frustrating. A representative of the company answered my call immediately; however, the individual originally indicated Monday would be the best time for an appointment and someone could come out "between 9 am and 4 pm". The gentleman was unwilling to give more of a reasonable time frame. After indicating this would not work, the gentleman scheduled me for the Saturday morning. Overall, I was very happy with the technician who came to the house and would use Tri-County again.

I called Tri-County rather early in the morning and then left to go grocery shopping. By the time I returned, Tri-County had come and gone, having accomplished their task efficiently and quickly (as reported by my spousal unit). It's great -- and a whole lot cheaper than the new garage door I was fearing I might have to purchase!

Called Frank at Tri County Door and told him my elderly mother's 30 year old garage door opener was acting up. Parts are no longer available for this opener so he recommended replacing the unit. He worked out the schedule with my mother and sent two employees who did a great job replacing the unit. Mom is happy so I am happy. Thank you Tri County Door Service!

I called on Thursday, and they set an appointment for the next day! They told me they couldn't tell me the time then, but they would call me 30 minutes before they came, which was fine for me because I was planning to be home all day anyway. They called me, and were here promptly. The technician was very professional and told me it would take about 45 min, which I think was about right, or he might have finished a little before that. Works great now!!

Having bought this house with a screw drive opener & having no manual, left me little choice but to have someone else fix it. I could not find it online. Tri-county came to my home at 11am. So that is within the 9am-12pm range. Figuring & correcting the problem took the repairman about 2 minutes. He then mounted & connected the button near the man-door & reprogrammed the keypad. Also bought a remote. Lastly he lubricated the door, spring & rails. The job took around 45 minutes. Being on Angie's List saved me $20. One small issue was that there may have been too much oil used as it puddled at the bottom of the rails later.

Technician came out same day in response to request for service. Had to order the unit and told me they would call when it came in. Never called back. I had to call them and ask if they part was in. They did come out and install the unit within a few hours of my call. They told me they would call before they came, which they did not. In some ways it is good that they just showed up, but I work from home and need to make sure their visit does not conflict with other meetings. Rated low on professionalism because they used my ladder to examine the unit without permission.

I had a issue with my garage door and contacted my home warranty company HSA. TRI COUNTY DOOR SERVICES INC was quick to respond. They came the very next day reviewed the problem and worked with the warranty provider to replace my old opener. Based on my request they also provided me upgrade options. Frank was patient in answering my questions about the upgrade. I went with one of the upgrade options. They setup a time for the doing the install. When they were running late they promptly call me to let me know. They were brisk in the install, the only problem was they brought a unit that was not powering on. They took it back and got the service done the same day. They took all the old parts cleaned up after them selves (if this issue did not come up they would have a perfect "A" from my review).

They were prompt, easy to talk with. They had to come back a second time with the part required and followed through on time and budget.
