Ram Jack of Ohio is excellent. They are very honest and thorough, and provided an estimate to correct the issue. Currently, I do not have the money to do the repair that would resolve the issue. The offer through the coupon would not have done anything, and therefore, I would like to cancel the coupon and request a refund. Thanks, B.

First of all, he arrived unannounced. Apparently, he thought someone had called or emailed me. It was a complete surprise. He gave a verbal opinion about what might be needed. This was somewhat ambivalent. At first, he seemed to be saying it was fine. Then he was suggesting some water=proofing. I began to think this was just a way of getting paid to get some work. He promised to send the estimate on the work, but I never received anything. I emailed a request for a written summary of the assessment and a written estimate, but so far have received nothing. This was very disappointing.

We had put on offer on a house with foundation problems. We needed an estimate on the cost to repair, in a timely manner. Jack came to the house and gave us a detail explanation and report of what needed to be done. He was very professional and helpful. I would recommend him to friends.

My experience went well. The staff was professional and friendly while visiting. I am now just waiting for the results of the plan.

He came out as scheduled but they did come out a day earlier than anticipated. He talked with me about my foundation and he explained their procedures well. They were supposed to email me an estimate on having water proofing done and they havent done so yet. I did not really feel like I needed the Big Deal.

He was on-time and professional. I wasn’t convinced that I needed what they were selling. He wanted to install support beams and my husband and I discussed it and didn’t feel it was needed. He sent me the estimate and it was for about $10,000 for the work.

I contacted the vendor first and the response was that they are having issues with the website. My calls go unanswered and the person doesn't have a voicemail box. This has been going on ten days and we need the work done.

It also took over 2 weeks for the company to set up an appointment to come to my home. I will have recommend this company to any one else unless they actually want an estimate for the work they thought needed to be done and you can get free estimates without having to pay for it. I understand Kevin spoke to the company several times and after my complaint he told me the company was to call me. One night the phone rang twice and they hung up before I could get to the phone. They have never called again. Please let me know if I can get my $99.00 credited to my credit card.

The guy came out when he said he would, and he pointed out the issues. He seemed very knowledgeable, and explained to me the different issues. I was expecting a written estimate from him, because there were 2 or 3 different ways to sort out the repairs, but I didn't get a written estimate at all, nor did I get a call back. It was a lot of money in any event. I still haven't received anything. He was very knowledgeable, and he saw a few things that I didn't, so he was an expert in his field. He was just talking about different numbers for different jobs and the price was pretty wide spread, so I was waiting for a written estimate, which I didn't get. The quality of his inspection, and finding out the problem was good. I know what he told me, but I would have liked all the details in writing, as I don't remember what was involved. There was nothing wrong with what he did, he was very professional.

They did a very good job. Timely, polite. Always called just before arriving. Kept informed on progress. Clean up was superb.

Will will have them cone out in the near future to do the work.

Installed two foundation piers and waterproofed the basement.

He took pictures with his IPAD, measured distances, drew sketches of problem areas. He also explained the possible consequences of not making repairs- without being dramatic . He explained in understandable detail what repairs needed to be done, and provided an approximate cost.

It went well, Jack is the person that came out, he was very informative, professional. However I had to leave, he was a little late due to another appointment, I think he had a previous appointment before ours and it was, I think it was in Brexville and the house that we were getting an estimate on is located in Oakwood Village so that's probably about a good half an hour away, so he was maybe about a half hour to forty five minutes late. But once, you know, we got the ball rolling everything else went pretty smooth afterwards. Once he got there he was very professional. I had to contact them several times to make an inquiry about the written estimate. He did contact me last week in regards to the work being performed.

No show/No Call/No email that he was not coming 9-05-2013 between 12PM-2PM.

Jack Kline arrived early on the day scheduled. He had been easy to get hold of and flexible with the appointment. He checked out the cracks and described the probable cause--eroded drain tiles. He summarized possible major repairs that might be needed in the future. Although he couldn't complete the job that day due to equipment failure, he returned the next day, early, and patched the cracks.Cleveland

I own a property where the foundation was cracking so I contacted him. He actually gave me a second alternative; he referred me to another company. I would consider them to provide me with an estimate in the future.

Our garage floor has been heaving for years, and it was just awful - the floor drain at the center had become the high point. Skip at Ram Jack understood all the issues and explained exactly how they would fix it. He gave us a price, and then carefully explained the extra charges as they came up (they had to drill much deeper than expected, so they needed more metal pipe; they had to replace a lot of broken drainpipe that had been under the old floor, and extend it further away from the house). They warned me in writing that there would probably be damage to the landscaping, and when they did the work it was clear that that couldn't be avoided. The guys were all incredibly conscientious and nice. They were always happy to stop and explain to me what still needed to be done and when it would happen. They were very careful - they even covered the bottom 3 feet of the garage walls with paper before the concrete was poured. On the day the concrete was poured, two of them stayed until 8:30 at night to make it absolutely smooth - they used truck headlights to give them enough light after it got really dark. At the end, they removed every last bit of debris and power-washed our driveway and the garage floor, to make sure everything sparkled. The only problem we had was getting a commitment for a starting date, but Skip called me each time he needed to push it back, and explained what the problem was. It was clear that he was being very careful about someone else's job, so I understood that he would do the same for me. Once they started, they just pushed until it was finished. Some days, there were 4 or 5 men here, and for short times even more. I was very impressed with the whole operation.

All the other companies involved in the process are planning their financing and work around his estimates. He called later after setting everything up and said he didn't have right equipment or skill to perform the work and wouldn't be able to come out until mid October. He then told me he would have the quote ready on the 22nd of this month and then pushed that back to the 27th. I spoke with Moran Construction, the other company involved and they informed me that he has not even contacted them since the 22nd. My finances are expiring and I can not make plans with the other parties involved since he has not given us any of this information. I did hear that he underbid the project by quite a lot. I have all my walls cut out of my home and all the bushes are removed. My home is not even habitable. I've called Ram Jack and they have not returned my calls. I've even called their national location and they have not even responded. Everyone is left holding the bag. We our currently living in another location temporarily. We had purchased the home because it was handicap accessible and my wife needed knee surgery. She is now in need of knee surgery again and we are stuck in a condo that is not handicap accessible at all. I will have to put her in a nursing home form convalescence if the home is not fixed by then.

It went good at first sent an email to get an estimate for a house I just bought and they replied back quick. Then talked to skip about my problem and he was very considerate and wanted to see my inspection report to see if he even needs to come out and see the house. I sent it to him and never heard back, its been about two weeks and he lost business since he did not return my calls or emails after two weeks of trying to get ahold of him. I dont know if I would recommend him because I did not receive service but dont expect a reply back if you want a job done asap.

We sold the house without as quickly as possible to avoid the future expense.

We couldn't have been more pleased!!! Skip was very easy to work with, and his crew was very knowledgeable and clean. It's hard to tell there was even an excavator in the back yard. I would absolutely recommend Skip and his company to anyone in our situation.

I'm deciding if I am going to have the work done, I'm waiting to see if my house is going to settle. It was a good estimate for the money they were asking, I liked them and am considering them. However, I felt like they were trying to find other problems with my house. I had a building inspector look at the two proposals I had and he said that if he were going to have the work done he would have gone with Ram Jack. I don't really know if they were trying to find other problems with my house or not, they had salesmen out here.
