Steve and his crew were able to remove the huge trunk, grind out the very large stump and roots, remove the grindings, fill the hole with topsoil and reseed the area where the tree stood. The area is now totally flat and there is no trace that our huge tree was ever there! Steve, the owner, was on site; his employees were informative and very professional. They were able to turn the bad experience of losing a beautiful tree into a good one as they took care of cleaning up the mess and restoring our lawn! Because of their impressive work on our property, our neighbors have contacted Parks Tree for projects at their homes! It was a pleasure doing business with Parks Tree Inc. and we will absolutely hire them again!

Scheduling of work was made more than 1 month after contact, at which time I had to have prepaid for the service through Angie's List and then hope the service was good. Why offer a special if you dont have immediate capacity? Owner/Manager however, very professional and knowledgeable, met me promptly in my house because I was soon departing for overseas trip. He made very useful and professional suggestions and noted down the work that needed to be done. When time came for the work, for 2 men x 4 hours, the men worked just 2 hours, trimmed few rotten branches, and the next day returned for half more hour to collect the branches. Absolutely no trimming of the bushes which was the primary request. Workers were timed by home cameras, and I have dated photos on the condition of the bushes after the work. So, I think there is either a communication gap between management and workers, or the workers are running their own ship.

The mulch Parks Tree uses is more like burnt wood chips than the mulch I have used before and thus is less cohesive, i.e. it will blow away when using a leaf blower. Their mulch also requires a thickness of four inches and thus three yards of their mulch didn't cover as much area as other mulches I have had.

Alan and Matt arrived on time and did a wonderful job. They were very professional. They did all the work that I asked them to do and cleaned everything up. I would definitely use them again.

The work crew was ok. Did god job removing a large tree. Supervisor stopped at beginning of job and was so aggressively rude to me about driving equipment on neighbors yard I had to tell him to back off and said I would never use their services again or recommend them to anyone Update, 9/23/17: In response to your response: your version of the experience is NOT accurate. The discussion was that you would have to drive your trucks on my neighbor's lawn. At no time did I talk about any damage to MY grass or landscaping (the yard was soaked from spring rains and you did tear up my landscaping) I accepted the fact that my landscaping would be damaged. I explained that the neighbors were new, I had not even met them, rhey were not home so they could not be apprised of the situation. I asked you, at that time, who would be responsible for repairing any damage to my neighbors yard. You started swearing at me, accusing me of caring more about grass than a persons life and if I didn"t like it he could take his crew home. I removed myself from your presence and went inside. You left, the job was completed, the trucks did not need to be moved and the young women who was actually doing the work came to my wife and me and apologised to us for your unnecessary aggressive rudeness. My criticism was for the supervisor that represented your company, not the quality of the work.

Crew was on-time and was very professional. Cleanup was performed.

OK - the guys worked diligently and had the work done in a timely manner.

Nick and Dave were very diligent in their work. They worked through rain to do a job better than we expected because we had let some things go for awhile. They said they were happy if we were happy and they left us smiling.

We had a little trouble in the beginning getting a date for an estimate. Once that was done all went very well. Steve came right out to my home and gave me an estimate to remove the tree. The day that I called for an appointment , I was given an appointment for the same day. A crew of 3 people were dispatched to my home. They were prompt and courteous. The Foreperson, Bettsy was wonderful. She explained everything the crew would do. Bettsy estimated it the job would take 4 hour hours but they finished in 2 hours and 40 min. They were very carful not to cause an damage to my property . They cleaned up my yard and grass meticulously and hauled away all the debris. I requested that the stump remain. I was very pleased with how well everything went

They were great! On time, efficient, personable, and even gave me some suggestions when I asked for them. They cleaned up everything very well too! I would use them again. I did however ask for a quote for additional services and I have not heard back from them.

Betsy, Matt and Sky arrived on time and did a great job. All the brush was ground up and hauled away. The yard was cleaned up very well.

They did a good job getting stuff cleaned out of the yard that I did not have time for. They did all this in a steady rain. Hauled it all away which in our township would have taken forever. Will use again.

I share some of the blame as I made an assumption that the overseeding would be done with a slit seeder and you know what happens when you assume. I asked the 2 staff members to go over the front 2x with the aerator and it didn't happen as after they left I checked it out (as I was busy when they finished). I found bare patches that were not even touched by the aeration. I believe that the machine was not set to go deep enough. They did spread plenty of seed but it is all sitting on top of the bare spots with no chance of germinating. Looking back I should have rented a slit seeder and bought some seed. Problem is I do not own a truck to transport it. It would have cost less money but at least there would have been a chance of decent results. I must mention that the 2 staff members were very courteous but I could have benefited from their expertise had they givin me their professional opinion that I was basically wasting my money. I had hoped that they would follow up a day or 2 either by email survey or phone call as we could have worked something out as I am far, far from unreasonable but it never happened. Overall a waste of labor, seed, and money. However I once again am partly to blame as looking back when I did not see a slit seeder I should have sent them on their way. Lesson learned.

They came when promised and did the work, but they were a bit careless with some of my planting. They will regrow and I wil be more vigilant in the future!

I contracted for three "tree professionals" for 7 hours for a total of 21 hours. Only 2 of the 3 had previously done tree work, the 3rd young man was working landscaping until the prior week and was not a "tree professional." The crew spent the first 2 hours trying to get the bucket truck into position to cut the first priority limb, but determined that the ground was too soft. It shouldn't have taken them this long to figure this out as they were tearing up my lawn in the process. I then asked them to climb the tree to remove the branch and was informed by the lead young man that he was not experienced enough to do so and this type of job would typically be subcontracted out by the company. They then looked at priorities 2 & 3, the lead said he could do the job but as he wasn't that experienced of a climber he would be slow. The dead limb is removed from the priority 3 tree. He then attempted--for another two hours--to throw a rope into the priority 2 tree and climb it--the other 2 men were just standing around most of this time. The climber was unsuccessful so at this point half the day is gone and they haven't accomplished anything. There was also considerable grumbling about the job the whole while, that it was a very technical job given his level of experience, and repeatedly referred to it as a f------ cluster f----- of a job. We had them remove the remainder of the priority 3 tree just to get some work for our money. A manager did come out and look at the job in advance. We feel, not only did we not get 3 "tree professionals" as the deal stated, but the crew that was sent was not qualified to do the work that was needed.
