They set a date in which they'd be able to do the work. I was at work while they did the aeration, but when I came home it was done, and looked as I expected an aerated lawn to look. I was happy with their work.

A crew of three men arrived and carefully studied the tree and discussed how they would bring the tree down and not damage the nearby house landscaping. They positioned their truck and brought down many small limbs. They rigged ropes and then brought down sections of larger limbs and then sections of the upper trunk . After they worked down the tree, they were able to drop sections of the trunk without damaging the landscape, house, or garage. The crew did a thorough clean up. A follow-up crew was to come and grind the stump. When the crew did not show up, I had to call Parks to remind them about the stump. It took about two weeks for the stump to be ground. Since I had to call to remind them to complete the contracted service, A minus. I was very satisfied with the job they performed.

I chose not to use this service.

I thought I had made it clear that I was willing to pay for the additional time it would take to take care of the entire tree. When the crew arrived, the supervisor advised me that since there were 3 of them instead of 2 (as the deal stated) they would only spend an hour and a half instead of two hours. He also told me that I would have to call back & get them back out to do the rest of the tree, but he was sure Steve would honor the additional Deal Price because I was a return customer. The trimming they did was a little more extensive than I had expected, but the supervisor didn't seem to want to discuss it with me! The guys did a great job of cleaning up all the branches & were more than willing to leave the logs for me. This tree is a little difficult to access in my backyard, but Steve Parks saw that when he came out, so I didn't understand the objection to doing the whole job while they were here.

Excellent work at a great price. I bought the "big deal" in September and called that day to schedule (I left a message). I didn't hear back for weeks, unless someone at my home did not give me the message. I then called to schedule and the work was done professionally on the date arranged.

h thWhen I returned to the USA & reviewed the "spring clean up" work that had been done, I had some issues. I called & talked with Justin & he was responsive about some of the shortcomings. But, one of the issues was regarding the plant bed weeding. When his crew returned to re-do some things, including the weeding, I observed the person simply pulling the tops of the weeds off & leaving the roots. This explained why, by the time I returned to Ohio, the weeds were thriving again. I'll readily admit I may have overestimated what this "weeding service" should have entailed. And I also admit that working via emails vs being in person & having face-to-face conversations about what was expected could leave room for misunderstanding(s). The new tree lawn bed - an extra, above/beyond the scope of the Big Deal - needed to be re-worked as the new edges of the bed were not straight. I'd asked for & expected 3" of mulch in all the beds, but if there was 1-1.5" I'd be surprised. Later in the season, I worked many hours in the beds - doing the proper weeding (digging out by the roots). I also bought 21 bags of mulch & applied the depth of mulch that I'd expected. Justin is a personable young man. I only wonder if having multiple crews for him to supervise had stretched his abilities too thin. In 2011 I had 1 tree removed by Parks Tree & several others trimmed or cut back. I was happier with their "tree service" than landscaping abilities. Although there was some minor damage to my garage when the tree work was done - and Justin's father promised to return to do some repairs, I did not push the subject when that didn't happen. As I outlined, above, I give benefit of the doubt to making landscaping work/plans via email & and not being on-site to potentially have prevented any misunderstandings or to be more clear in my expectations. I recommend them for tree service, but I'm not able to recommend their landscaping services at this time.

This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in a long time, in dealing with service professionals. Steve came to give me an estimate, at exactly the time he said he was going to be there. I received an estimate via email within an hour or two. The work was scheduled at my convenience and was confirmed via email. The workers arrived exactly on time, told me how long the job would take, and they completed the job right on time as stated. They were friendly, pleasant, and tidy. The cost was very manageable. Couldn't be better!

Excellent job, did more than I thought could be accomplished in a two hour period. Great special deal. Very professional and friendly employees.

Parks Tree did a very good job and they cleaned up really well. The first job went extremely smoothly. The second job there was a glitch, because the person trimming the Lilacs over-did it. As a result they left a bare area, but when we pointed it out they supplied a small tree free of charge to fill in the area. They admitted it was a mistake and told us what they could do to make up for it.

Actually had no interaction with the company except to set up the appointment. They arrived when scheduled, completed the work, and cleaned up well. The lawn was aerated and bare patches over seeded adequately. I would use them again in the future.

Prompt, courteous, and very efficient. We would not hesitate to use them again.

I had to re-schedule my original appt. and the people were very accomodating. Showed up on time and did very thorough work.

Very punctual on quote, waited for ground to freeze so as to minimize damage, removed tree in one day, came back within a week or two to stack logs

Service did not take place for a few weeks after order due to the parks company being busy. the job was estimated at 4 hours. they started an hour later than scheduled and worked from about 11:30 until 6pm and did not finish so they had to return another day to finish., that was not a problem . Overall, it went well. the guys worked hard, but an electrical wire on my neighbors house was hit from a falling limb. which caused concern for the nieghbor..Parks called an electrician who came the next day.As far as i know the neighbors are satisfied. I am concerned about ruts in my yard and neighbors due to falling limbs and also from the street to my backyard from the equipment they brought to the backyard..Due to bad weather it is difficult at this time to determine the extent of impairment. I did also akd them for a quote to trim another tree and was told that could be possible, but when they came to complete the work, they never contacted me about the additional work I don;t know why

They were very friendly. They have to reschedule at one point but they let us know plenty of time and gave us different options. We wanted to have them chip some of the trees that they've cut down but they won't be able to get to chip them off because of the way our property is situated. They said they'd be happy to drop off chips from another project.

Andy, Brian, and Dane arrived on time, set up quickly, and went to work on the tree with care and efficiency. Their expertise and professional approach were impressive as well as their attention to safety. They finished the initial job in less than the time we had predicted and did two small tree removals in the time remaining. The crew was pleasant to work with and very careful in all aspects of the job. They left the area raked and blown clean so that there was little evidence that they were ever there, except for my stack of firewood for next year.

When a medical emergency required rescheduling, Park Tree could not be reached to set a new date. Phone calls to every number I could find plus e-mails and text messages went unanswered. We finally did what we should have done and gone with a vendor we'd used previously. It turns out his price was better than the "Big Deal." A week or so after our vendor completed the work, Park Tree finally responded. Angies List was kind enough to refund our "Big Deal."

My experience with Parks Tree was excellent! Andy was punctual, personable, informative and did great work. He met me at my house to assess the work that needed to be done then sent me an estimate that same evening. He and his helper were punctual the day of service, finished the work in a timely manner and made my yard look beautiful. I will absolutely use Parks Tree again and will recommend them to everybody.

I was disappointed in the services offered for this Big Deal. It was $200 for 4 man hours of tree trimming. After the intial assesment was made (which I was not there for), I was notified that someone would be calling to set up an appointment. I did not receive a call and a month later I had to call to set up the appointment. When they arrived we briefly discussed what was to be done. I mentioned certain things (like removing dead branches that could fall in the winter due to brittlenes), and they stated that they would cover what they could in the time frame.They were punctual and swift. Too swift because they left after an hour. They began work and as soon as they were finished they took off. They didn't let me know they were leaving, and upon inspection I found that not everything was done that I expected. When I called to inquire, I was told that the owner stated that the Big Deal covered work for up to 4 man hours, but it could be less. I was not told that it would be less in advance. I spent $200, and expected 2 hours worth of work to be completed (2 men x 2 hrs), especially since there was more than 4 hrs worth of work available. If I paid $200, I expect $200 worth of work. In my opinion, this company owes me a $100 refund and I would not recommend them based on their service.

The employee did a very good job aerating the lawn. However when it came to OVERSEEDING, I was expecting an OVERSEEDING machine (such as bluebird) to be used which is a gas powered machine that cuts slits or furroughs into the ground and drops grass seed into these furroughs so that there is an excellent chance of germination. This was NOT THE CASE. NO OVERSEEDING MACHINE WAS USED. Seed was applied with a lawn spreader somewhat HAPHAZARDLY, and SPARSELY. I redid the Overseeding with a rented machine myself. An Overseeding machine was not specifically spelled out in the ad. Maybe the ad should be more clear. Somewhat dissappointed with entire experience.

They are very neat and polite. They were hard workers and very efficient. I've used them at least 3 times.

Parks Tree General Manager Steve Parks and his crew were professional and efficient throughout the day-long operation to remove the oak tree. In December Steve gave us an estimate that was the lowest of the four estimates I got, which initially had me worried about his ability to complete the job for the price quoted. But he and his crew did everything they said they would do at the time they said they would do it and for the agreed-upon price. They were knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. I was very happy with their work. I highly recommend Parks Tree.

The men were prompt, courteous and clearly explained what services I paid for. They also made sure I knew I could direct them to accomplish whatever yard work I desired. They worked diligently and quickly, ensuring I was completely satisfied with their work. I highly recommend the company and already paid for their help in the Spring!

Came out for "evaluation", looked at a problem tree, made a few recommendations about other trees in one area of the yard. Provided a quote to take down all or portions of the problem tree, but estimates were very high. Two other estimates came in at substantially lower prices (40% or less).

Everything went fine. They took care of everything we needed and they did a good job. The guy that came out to look at the job was terrific, the two workers that did the work were conscientious and they did a good job, but they were new.
