It went fine. The best thing about them was that my yard is planted with tons of stuff and they were very concerned with not damaging other items.

We had to reschedule because of weather twice. I guess Parks nor I can control the weather. They arrived exactly on time and ready to work. It was pouring and cold but they worked diligently never the less. They didn't even take breaks to warm up in the truck, which I totally expected to do. We had agreed on seeing how much of the job could be completed in 8 man hours, I knew there was more work than what we originally agreed on. They follow my instructions to the letter and worked fo a total of 9 hours. We had agreed that they would bring a chipper to get rid of what they cleared, but they did not arrive with one. They took a full dump truck and a trailer of waste with them when they left and said they would be by tomorrow to shred the rest. Although the crew all worked diligently, the foreman / team leader was amazing out working everyone in the team. The crew were all plea sent, professional and personable.

Very well. I wasn't expecting them to come at all (it was raining the day they were supposed to arrive), but they came and worked in the rain, only stopping for a little while when the rain got very heavy. They finished the job in good time and did a very professional job cleaning up after.

It looked beautiful! I ordered them again this year!

They did the aeration and that was fine. I thought that they would be cross seeding with a machine and things, but when he just scattered some seed by hand in my hard, I was very disappointed in that. It didn’t grow, nothing happened with it at all.

Shabby treatment. I feel that they should have given me the coupon discount that was in effect before they did any work and was in effect when the work was going to be done.

.Three man crew appeared as scheduled and took approximately three plus hours working despite showers. Tree roots presented some difficulty digging so needed to shift site slightly. Performed task quickly and efficiently. Aerating routine. Definitely satisfied with results, cost, and would recommend Parks lawn and tree service to others.

Very good. No complaints.

I did not view the final work as it was for a rental property. My tenant was pleased with the quality.

Their service was OK. I was satisfied. I would recommend them to others.

The tree was very close to my house and dead. They cut down very easy and quick. cleaned before they leave.

We purchased a Big Deal in December 2012 which entitled us to $400 worth of work for $199. We were delighted to see how much work this would cover when we were visited in early January. At that time, we were told that the schedule was full until February, and that we would be scheduled soon after that. We were also told that winter weather would not interfere with this job. We called in late Febuary and again in mid-March to inquire about when the would be scheduled. On April 2, three maple trees were trimmed and a small, leaning spruce was cut down. We are very pleased with the work. The clean-up was excellent as well. We have been told that the spruce's stump will be ground in the next week or so.

Because Parks Tree has an Eastlake address and I live in North Olmsted, I was concerned that they would not be interested in doing my work. But I subsequently learned that this is a father-son operation and the son handles the westside work from a Lakewood location, so this was not a problem. Within a few days after I purchased the Big Deal certificate (in early March), I received a call from Parks to arrange to come to my house to review the proposed work and provide an estimate. The son not only provided a written estimate but also provided some very helpful suggestions (such as trimming instead of removing the smaller tree). He said that since he was a tree expert and much of the work involved landscaping, his landscaping guy would get in touch with me to arrange a date to do the work. probably in a few weeks when the weather improved. I was entirely agreeable to this; but In fact sometime around March 29, without any discussion, I received an email informing me that the work had been scheduled for April 4--not a problem for me but it could have been. Most importantly, a crew of three arrived right on time on April 4 were very courteous a nd did excellent work (including clean-up), with one, probably minor, exception: The son neglected to bring his stump grinder. Although he cut the stump down to ground level, he said he would have to finish the job (grind the stump) when he returned to the neighborhood in a few weeks to do some work for a neighbor. I did not object to this for two reasons: (1) I had no immediate need to have the stump ground, and (2) although I paid him in full on the day of the work (at his request), because Parks is a highly rated Angies List company, I trusted his word that he would return to finish the job. I considered providing Parks with an overall "B" rating instead of an "A" because of the scheduling and stump glitches---but since they truly seem to be minor glitches which have not actually caused me any harm or inconvenience, and since Parks' work and overall interaction with me was otherwise excellent, I decided to stay with the "A". Assuming they return within a reasonable time to finish the stump, I would hire Parks again.

Steve Parks came within a week of my calling, did a thorough look at the job I was requesting, did a calculation on his work device and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He indicated he would attempt to set up the appointment for the next day, and within an hour of his departure I received an email confirming the estimate and another email confirming the appointment for the work to be done.

The crew arrived on time and worked throughout the day. They were very friendly and professional. The work was done as promised. They cleaned up all of the debris and left our property in good condition. We were very pleased with the job.

Two young men arrived to perform the job at the agreed upon time. After I described the job they went to work and got everything done in the two hour period we had paid for in the Big Deal. The overhanging branches were cut and removed from our property with no damage to any of the existing plantings in the garden or structures. The above ground part of the shrub to be removed was also cut and removed, and we were referred to contact information for a stump removal service that was not part of the Big Deal. The workers were very professional, responsive to my instructions and comments and worked fast and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use Parks Tree Service again.

Parks tree was a dream to work with! Andy was responsive upon the initial contact and estimation right through the day of the job. His men were punctual and efficient. They found a smaller stump hidden beneath the ivy and ground it down at no extra charge. We will be using Parks Tree Service again in the future :)

Big Deal was refunded, but still would have liked to have known before buying it.

I contacted them on Monday for an estimate and was told someone would come out to look at the tree on Friday. I get a call the next day to give them a call, if I need any services performed (Huh?). Someone comes out on a Friday looks at the tree and gives me a $900.00 estimate. I feel this is about right for the work involved and agree. The estimator states that I will be E-mailed a copy of the estimate when He gets back to the office. After calling the office several times I still never recieve an E-Mail estimate. The work crew arrives the following Friday. I was never given a time window other than between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (just like the cable company). Light snow was falling and it takes them four hours to complete the job. Two trunks of the tree could be dropped whole, but the third and largest trunk was leaning toward the house and deck had to be de-limbed by climbing the tree. Most of the tree is de-limbed except for the uppermost part. Ropes are secured around the tree then the base is cut and the tree is dropped between my house and my neighbors. They drop the tree and take out half of a shrub on my neighbors property(They never told me, i noticed this after they had left). The next day after more closly inspecting the area I find several long and deep ruts in my neighbors lawn from branches of the tree that they had not removed before felling. I also find several two to three foot long branch sections embedded in my neighbors lawn that after some effort I'm able to pull out. After completing the job I pay them and am told that I would receive an E-Mail copy of the invoice . As of this writting eight days later have received no such E-Mail. There was snow on the ground on the day of the job but knowing that you would think that a service provider would promise to return another day to check the work area for any problems. This did not occur. I chose this company based on the number of A rated reviews. This was a mistake. There is no reason to recomend this company over any other tree service provider on Angies list.

Steve came out to give an estimate on a tree hanging over my neighbor's yard. We set a date within the week, and the tree came down. Easy-peasy.

Went wonderfully, Very pleased with the experience.

The worker arrived on time and explained what was being done and the care that needed to be taken, such as when to mow the lawn next and when to fertilize. We will know better in the spring when the lawn starts growing again.

We purchased one of Angie's Lists' deals to get some yard work done. I don't remember all the details, but they came out, gave us an estimate of what they could do, then came out and did it. No problems.

They were very good. They were extremely good and entertaining watch. Younger people and they had to climb the tree. They cleaned up very well and I had no problems with them.
