They provided good value for money and service was as per my expectations

This was the first time I had aeration done so I don't really have a good idea how it compares against other contractors. I wasn't at home when the contractor came to work. My overall impression is that the work quality is okay. I wish they could clean up the soil pieces a little bit. They looked like a bunch of dog droppings all over my yard. I'm not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be. I will try another contractor next year just to have a comparison.

They arrived ten minutes early, one young man worked on the back lawn and the other did the front. They aerated both lawns and applied fresh seed. They were finished in no time! It took less than 30 minutes from the time they rang the doorbell to when they drive away. They were efficient and pleasant.

Justin came promptly, was helpful, used email and phone when I had questions.

Parks Tree is very thorough and professional. I've used them in the past, and the trees always look good afterward, never trimmed to excess or uneven. Their cleanup is generally good, and they check with the client to make sure he's happy with the result. This is a professional company whose services I will use again.

Everything went well. He answered all of our questions and gave us a detailed report describing their condition and what should be done. He was prompt, courteous, and very helpful.

I was amazed at how much they could get done in their alloted time. I usually feel it's risky to buy blocks of time, since you never know how efficiently people will use their time. But the Parks Tree guys worked hard the entire visit and got done way more than I would have thought possible. Everything looked great, and they cleaned everything up very nicely. I would highly recommend them for landscape, yard, and mulching work. I plan to use them for fall yard clean up as well. Highly satisfied.

They had to be called repeatedly to schedule a date. It took a couple of months to get them out. We wanted the work done before our garden started to bloom so that plants were not damaged. Instead, by the time they got around to coming out, everything was in full bloom and several plants were damaged. Granted they are perennial plants so they will be fine next year, but they looked horrible this year. They did not clean up all of the saw dust and left huge piles of it all over our lawn. They came the day we were leaving for vacation so we had to hold off leaving a couple of hours so we could clean it up. They also did some minor damage to our shed. I felt like they did not want to be bothered whenever we called because we were "discount" customers, yet they upped the price $200 using the wires as an excuse.. The excuse for not coming sooner was they needed a special guy because of the electric wires. But, really, two months. Even if we initially called right after some heavy storms, it still should not have taken that long.

Parks Tree contacted me within 24 hours of my call to the company requesting an estimate to have a tree, that was leaning so badly that it had pulled the root ball out of the ground, straightened up and staked so that it could root and grow straightly. I made an appointment for Andy to come out and take a look and give me an estimate. He arrived promptly and after looking at the tree advised me that the root ball was pretty dried out and dead and even with staking and some replanting, the tree may not survive and would still have to be removed in the spring. After discussing several options pro and con, I decided to take his good advice and remove the tree. We scheduled it for the day after Labor Day and Andy's crew showed up and did a great job removing the tree from the ground and also all of the debris away from the house. They restored the ground in the area where the tree had been to the best shape possible and had the tree not been gone, I would have never known they were there. I would definitely use Parks Tree again and plan on calling them when I am ready to plant a new tree in the spring. I found them to be pleasant, knowledgable, helpful and honest in dealing with me. Qualities I don't find very often anymore. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good dependable company who does great work when they need help with their trees!

Great. They came and performed the work while we were not home, but it was a job well done.

The two young men showed up on time and worked with very few if any breaks moving 8 cu yards of dirt and 6 cu yards of mulch to various locations at our home. They very friendly and professional and obviously did a great job. They got more work done a lot earlier then expected, which is why I would hire them again.

When he needed to reschedule so as to do all the work at once he offered a discount. I asked for pictures of roof shingles if there was damage. i think they forgot to tell me about the shingles because i wasn't present when they were on the roof. The men who did the work explained what they were doing and how felling a big tree would be done safely. They also mentioned rescuing birds when they find them in their nests and taking them to an appropriate shelter

I was very pleased with the work that this company did. The three workers came on time, and did an excellent job. They cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris.

One of the three guys sent by Parks Tree, Nick, was fantastic. A really hard worker, knew what he was doing, and got a lot done. The other two guys were often sitting in the truck, texting on their phones, or standing around waiting to take direction. They did a great job of watching Nick work, but did not do a great job working themselves. I stepped out a few times to suggest work for the other two to do (which I had already done at the start of the job), and when asked they would take on a task, but I don't feel it was my job to be their project manager or explain to them why texting or sitting in the truck wasn't a responsible use of the client's time and money. About 3 hours into the 5.5 hour job the two less-motivated guys started clean-up, which of course had to be done but with another 2.5 hours on the clock I think they could have done more pruning and trimming instead. I learned at this time that Parks Tree sent a tiny trailer and there wasn't enough room to haul away the clippings and branches that had been pruned so the guys were spending my time chopping everything up into tiny pieces to fit better into the too-small trailer. I explained, somewhat exasperated at this point, that I didn't want to pay ~$90 an hour for them to turn my brush into mulch by hand, and that they could dump the excess brush on my property instead, which they did. I explained my displeasure with the other two guys to Nick and he did spend a extra time pruning a few more boxwoods and even taking down a small tree. I do feel he understood my concerns, but there isn't much one guy can do if his coworkers don't want to work. The time spent by the workers on this job does not in any way meet the 16 man-hours of work that I purchased from Park's Tree. I left a request on VM for Parks Tree asking for a call back to discuss the work, but no call back ever came.

I had an Angie's List Big deal so the balance owed is $275.00 The estimate was in March and I had hopes of taking it down before seeds formed. Because of the extremely wet spring that did not work as the yard stayed wet and would have had them working in the mud. When they came there was a problem with the chipper, but the men managed to take the multi limbed tree down and removed all but the pieces of trunk which would not fit in the truck. They did a very good job of removing an extremely large tree, branches and leaves. I am still waiting for the base and roots to be removed, and the pile of wood that wouldn't fit in the truck--which was full. The men were pleasant and worked hard. I will pay the balance when the wood and roots are removed. Trying to write this review was interesting since a lot of % signs came up!

Arrived on time. Walked the property with my wife and provided comments and answered questions we had about particular trees. The surveyed was professional and easy to talk to according to my wife. A few days after the survey, we recieved a full written tree survey document with suggestions and concerns about our trees. We would use this company again.

They worked hard and did a fairly good job. My only complaint is that there was nothing put under the mulch, so weed are now popping up all over the beds again. i know there is some kind of matt you put over the soil to prevent this.

They arrived at my property on time and cut down my trees. They stated they could not take the cut trees off my property because it was too wet. They finally picked up my cut trees on August 17th.

The assessment went very well. Trees are large and can be costly or impossible to replace. It was helpful to get an understanding of the state of health of our big trees to get out ahead of potential issues or to be assured that the tree looks fine at present.

No problems. I was not home so I could not comment on punctuality or proffessionalism,but over the phone they were good. Did the job I asked, cleaned up. I have had them for several other projects and have alwasy been pleased. Will use again.

They gave an assessment. He surveyed our property and let us know which trees he recommended be taken down. They no called/ no showed the first time we scheduled the work, but we had no problems the second time they were scheduled.

It wasn't clearly stated in the Big Deal that Parks Tree wouldn't be doing the work until September. The best time for this work is between August 15 and September 15. If they do it later than that, it doesn't do any good and is a waste of money. I didn't really have any interaction with the company and can't really say whether or not I'd use them in the future.

Angie's list coupon. After a couple of reschedulings, the work was done well and efficiently.

Arrived punctually, clean work, good value. Second time using service and will use them again this fall.

They did a good job. They removed the tree and they cleaned up afterwards. They were two boys.
