3 man crew, took care of heavy leaf fall, trimmed back bushes, hostas, hydrangeas, etc. did a first pass pulling up a bed of day lilies. And with about 5 minutes left, took care of trimming back pesky 7 foot tall hedges that I have a hard time reaching the middle of on a ladder. This all would have taken me days to complete by myself and it was worth every penny to have it done well and efficiently.

I was happy with their service and I would probably use them again. They trimmed everything up and it looks good.

They were here when they said they would be. They had to work a little over but they called to get permission and he apologized. They did a great job and we would use them again in the future. It was a pretty big job and they gave it their best.

They did a wonderful job. I would hire them again!

I bought a deal for a Complete Fall Clean for U$149.00 and I had an estimate for another company for U$350.00. They came in January/2014 due to the weather - initially, they were supposed to be here in November. The clean up was proportional to the price. They charged 1/3 of the price and performed 1/3 of the 'regular' job. So, not really a 'deal'. Not bad either.

We hire Parks Tree every spring and fall to do this, and our lawn looks SO much better! They always are good about scheduling and performing the service (and we've had them do tree services, also). Highly recommended.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The work they did was fine. There were some issues when we had them take the tree down. There were maybe some communication issues. They left at one point and it was towards the end of the day, and they had been gone for a while, and stuff was just left a mess because they told us they were just going to get gas for the portable saw. It turned out that they also took a meal break or something and we didn't realize what was happening, and got concerned. They came back, they finished the job, and everything was fine. With the landscaping, there was a little bit where they kind of wanted to charge me more at a certain point. They had the guy come out and look at the space and talk to me what I wanted to have done, and gave an estimate. I don't know if I would use them again. I probably would not use them except through a coupon, but there just were a couple of little nibbling kind of issues with both projects. Make sure you know if the estimate is a hard estimate or a ballpark that it can go up from there. The price was a little bit more than the Big Deal, but they gave me some quotes ahead of time that I knew it could be a little bit more, and we ended up kind of negotiating some stuff on it.

They were good. No additional charges. I probably used them by September or October. That was fine, they communicate appropriately and reasonable amount of time.

Arranging a time to have my yard work done was the most difficult part of the whole experience. It took multiple phone messages before i got a call back, but they were very accommodating with my difficult schedule once I got a hold of them The actual yard service was good, but not great. They picked up the leaves, but they also "weeded" and trimmed out all of my ground cover. Admittedly, because of my demanding work schedule, I was not there to supervise, but I expected a professional landscaper to recognize groundcover in an entire garden bed. Lastly, I had spoken the the project supervisor about getting an estimate on removal of dead branches hanging over my yard and was told they would call me back but never heard from anyone about the job. Overall, the work was appreciated but I will probably not use them again.

I took advantage of an Angie?s list coupon and got four man hours of work for $150.00. I bought two coupons. Similar work was performed in April. I was very pleased with the work they performed. Two men came out and in two hours they thoroughly cleaned up my yard. They were attentive to detail and actually went a little over the two hours allotted and didn?t charge. I am on a limited budget and I can't afford their regular fee but I would s***** up additional $150 coupons in a heartbeat. Thanks again Parks Tree

I appreciated the initial contact with the receptionist for an appointment and the timely and thorough estimate appointment with Steve. Also the timely correspondence from Steve via email for the estimate and additional work added acknowledgement and the appointment verification. On the day of the work, Brian contacted me by phone as requested to let me know they were on their way (and they were running a bit earlier than scheduled - Good!). Betsy, his partner, greeted me at the door and asked if it was okay to bring the bucket truck into the driveway and they would get started. Both of them were very polite and friendly. Quite a bit of snow was on the ground that day and it was COLD!! I told them I needed to return to work, gave them payment up front, and knew they could reach me by phone if they needed me. After arriving home from work only a couple hours later, I inspected the job(s) and everything had been done as asked and everything cleaned up. I was very pleased especially given the cold, snowy conditions which they worked under.

It went fine. The representative arrived a bit late, left truck running in driveway, spent perhaps 15 minutes looking at trees. He made some informal (verbal) recommendations. This was followed up shortly by a written estimate. I purchased this as part of an Angie's List offer. This review is of the service provided in conjunction with this coupon. The offer stated: "(1) Identifying immediate and potential hazards and threats to personal safety and property; (2) Determining cost range for immediate remedy for identified hazards; (3) Determining mid- and long-term needs and potential future concerns; (4) Determining budget for yearly tree care; (4) Inventorying, cataloging and mapping species on property and determining value." The coupon further stated, "This coupon covers as an unlimited number of trees on a contiguous half-acre plot of land. Members who purchase this coupon will also receive a $100 credit toward any tree service offered by Parks Tree." What I received (July 19) was essentially an estimate to remove and trim trees. In both informal and formal means, I did get (1) and (2). I did not receive either (3) or (4). I consider what I received as an estimate for service. Had I been aware I was essentially purchasing an estimate for service, I would have instead contacted multiple service providers for estimates. By the way, I did contract with Parks Tree to remove/trim trees (Estimate #1616: $1,150; after removing one tree ($200) from service, the cost was $950). While the estimate did not include the $100 credit, I assume it was built into the estimate itself. (This review is not of the actual removal and trimming of trees, but of the service associated with the coupon.) Please keep in mind, that this less than stellar evaluation is a function of the discrepancy between my expectation of service according to the coupon description relative to the service received. Had the coupon stated clearly that features (1) and (2) are the primary features of the coupon, I would have felt otherwise about the service received. Indeed, I likely would not have purchased the coupon. In short, while I might contract with the service provider again in the future I would not purchase this coupon. I would encourage other Angie's List members instead to contact multiple service providers, including Parks Tree, for estimates for service. I would imagine those estimates would be free of charge. If a service provider does not provide a free estimate, well, there are many tree service firms in the metropolitan area.

The guys that did the actual work were very polite and conscientious. The trimming was in the midst of a barrage of overhead wires and they were well versed in the maneuvering of the equipment. The clean-up was thorough, including the debris that fell in my neighbor's yard. | |The use of a Groupon coupon made the work very affordable. | |The biggest issue that I had was with the scheduling for the estimate. They were a no-show for the day scheduled and when I called, it seems that they confused me with another customer so they went to that customer's house instead. |

They showed up on time and took care of what we needed done.

Job not completed as quoted: The service quoted was for the completion of a job, and the job was to trim any sizable dead branches of the large oak tree in the front yard. I wanted to feel safe letting my little children play under the tree, trimming only some branches was the same as trimming none. I could not be at home when parks tree did the job. To my surprise when I returned home I could still see several dead branches. When any of those were to fall it could seriously hurt an adult let alone a two-year old. I followed up with Justin who promised to take another look, but gave the excuse that the job quoted was for 1-2 hours of work, which was never the case. Justin was then gone for a few days and I had to follow up with (I believe) Steve, who also promised to follow up but never did. Overall the interaction was very positive initially, but very disappointing overall. I am still looking forward to some action from the company, and would love to reconsider my grade, but as its stands overall my grade is F.

That was great. That was the best one I've ever got through Angie's List. They were superfast and they followed instructions perfectly.

They came early and the deal was for 4 hours. They were here for about an hour and a half at the most. They just quickly blew it into piles and left. They did a fair job, as they did miss some stuff, and they didn’t really rake and only blew. They didn’t ask me if there was anything else I wanted them to do. I expected a little more for the money. They were supposed to come at 9 am and came about 7:30 am which was unexpected.

It turned out fine. They did a good job. They showed up on time and did the job. I had no problems with the scheduling. The cleanup was reasonable and they picked most everything up. They got the job done in about 4 hours.

Have used their service before and they do a terrific job.

I bought one of the special aeration and overseeding packages that was offered. The date for the service was communicated by e-mail and since there was snow on the ground, they did not show. The came another day without notification and did the work without ringing the bell or contacting us. I guess it is fine, but the weather was sleety and the ground was muddy. Spring will be the decision factor to see if this was a good value or not._x000D_|

The service was great. This happened during the night and there were branches everywhere. I called them and they happened to have a crew in my area. They came over in an hour and were fantastic. They removed the tree and then went to my backyard to remove additional branch debris.

One pile of leaves was forgotten in a flower bed, but honestly, they worked very hard and we definitely got our money's worth on this Angie's deal

It took a while for us to schedule the service, but they were terrific about communication, and made sure they stayed in touch if snowfall kept them from coming to do a fall yard cleanup Considering they had to do the yard with an inch of snow on the ground, they did a fine job! I would definitely use them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They came late and one guy was not professional at all. The other guy appeared to know what he was doing. They came with a big truck with a little baby tree grinder on the back but the truck was full and they left me a big pile of ground up leaves. They said they would come back within the week to remove that, but never came back. As far as the amount of labor I got in two hours for two guys the second guy had no experience in the bucket. He hardly got anything accomplished up there as to what I wanted done. I told them I was not very happy. One guy spent more than an hour trying to repair his grinder instead of working on my trees, but I got charged for it. They were terrible. The price was great, but I would have been better off to spend more money, but get the job done right.
