I used an Angies List special for 8 hours of landscaping. When I called to schedule I was not asked what work I needed done but I volunteered that information anyway so that they would be prepared. I explained that I needed a large ivy bed removed and 5 fence post holes dug. The woman who scheduled was very nice and polite. Three guys arrived on time and were very nice professional and polite. They explained though that they do not fence posts and do not have a fence post hole digger. They tried to figure out how they could do it anyway with the tools they had but I told them not to bother with that. They determined that a woman who is not totally familiar with the scope of their services had scheduled my appointment, and that is not usually her job. They spent a lot of the time removing the ivy bed which also had some poison ivy in it. They used a weed whacker, hand pulled, used hand clippers, and rototilled the bed until nothing was left but dirt. They also had to work around some bushes and tree trunks. I was amazed at how clean the bed was. Instead of digging fence post holes, I had them edge a large bed we had just planted and mulch it (I already had the mulch in case they had time to do this). It looks terrific. Glad this was an Angie special because they are located far east and I am on the west side. So I probably never would have thought to contact their company otherwise. I would hire them again.

See first review. This is my second response for this job. I had intend to have Park Tree redo my back yard. However, after the response that I received after some constructive criticism, I am doing a second review. 8/27/2014 Hi, I have found someone else to do my backyard. I had two surgeries at the Cleveland Clinic. After the first surgery they sent me a patient satisfaction survey. The surgery was a success, but there were some other things that did not go so well. When had my second surgery; it was apparent that what I had to say as a patient/client was important. In fact, they made some changes. If the Cleveland Clinic being the one premier healthcare system in the world can take constructive criticism; then you should also be able to do the same thing. I found your response to be unprofessional, and seems like you were more interested in the appearances. After my first review someone should have called to find out what could have been different; but they did not and that is very for telling.

Bought the landscaper for 8 hours coupon. They sent a crew of 2. A young man and woman. The crew removed 5 bushes from the front of the house and some other small plants that had become overgrown and too close to my 140 year old foundation. They worked hard through the 4 hours. I was very impressed. They cleaned up all the debris. Will definitely use them again.

Andy was very responsive via phone and email. He gave me a quote very quickly and a week later the work was done. Everything that was listed on the quote was done and he informed me of a number of options including things I should do after the tree is cut down to prevent the fungus from spreading to other trees.

Very friendly, asked me for more work. Hard workers, left it clean, great rototilling job- very fine dirt afterward. Stayed busy even through some rain!

Scheduled in advance for service to begin between 1-2 pm. I did not know how many workers would come - thus how late to plan for. The team of three men arrived at 11 am. They did not call to ask if coming 2 hours early would work for me. They were polite and friendly and completed the work I wanted done that could be accomplished in the time that was prepaid through the big deal. The worked effectively and I was pleased with the amount of work that was accomplished. They cleaned up after completing the work and carried off the yard waste.

Overall very good. They showed up when expected, was courteous and polite, & completed the job on time. There were a few mishaps (broken bush, chain-link gate got twisted & walking path stones damaged) as well as a communication issue about the stump--they were calling my house but I was out of the state and did not have access to email to pick up voice mail and only intermittent cell phone service. It took a few days & a few emails plus some frustration to get the issue resolved but it was resolved. Still, after working with other providers, I would use their service again. Mishaps are part of life and overall I had an excellent experience with the service.

Scheduling was easy and they did a nice job. The service was excellent. They took care of everything for the price of the deal. They cleaned up very nicely.

I called them and they very nicely advised me to contact Angie's List for refund of duplicate purchase.

They did all kinds of stuff and I was very pleased. They were professional and they were quick. They didn't chat around. They did what I asked. They did everything I wanted done in that 4 hours.

First, they arrived on time and were ready to start working. They were hard working and did a great job of placing the rocks and mulch where needed. I have used Parks Tree, Inc. in the past and will in the future as they have performed better than any other company who I have hired.

They were excellent, I did not think they were gonna get the job done in time, but they did, Excellent work.

The guys arrived on time and worked well and cleaned up. They helped me understand what else I could do with my property. I'll have them back to remove a tree and take out sod for a garden area. I do recommend them.

The workers showed up to work. They were friendly, worked enthusiastically and did a fine job. We recommend this provider highly.

Parks Tree Service workers were phenomenal. They arrived about five minutes ahead of schedule, and immediately started sizing up the tasks. We had two overgrown patches of flower bed totaling about 30' x 6', plus a good deal of wood from two trees we'd had taken down a couple of years ago. I left them at the task about 8:45am when I left for work. By 3:30 that afternoon, I got a call that the work was done -- got home and the yard looked neater than it has in years. The Angie's List special we bought was $150, and the removal of about 12 large pieces of tree trunk and some smaller branches added another $150. Still a bargain for the work we received. I intend to use them again for stump grinding & other trees we need trimmed.

Work done in 2013. Some problems scheduling, as part of their expansion into landscaping from arborist. Came on time, did some cleanup and weeding. Apparently left a lot of weed roots, since weeds were back within a week. Gave me estimate for tree work, but price seemed a little high. Mixed feelings.

It went very well. The guys were accommodating and did everything I asked of them.

I hired this service through a deal: $200 for $400 worth of service. I first thought that I just some branches down from trees stretching into my yard. It turns out I needed 2 trees down, as one was actually leaning on my garage, forcing it to tilt. The cutting group arranged to take both trees down, did it all in one morning, were completely professional and yet friendly at a reasonable price. Andy, who came for an estimate some time earlier, even stopped by to make sure all was fine. IT WAS! I found the taking down of these trees very emotional, and the crew made it as easy as possible. THEY WERE AWESOME!

I was very pleased with way the company sent someone out for an estimate in a timely manner. I was kept informed through EMail contact as to when the job would be done. They arrived on time and did an excellent job in removing the tree and branches, and cleaning up. I would recommend this company to my friends, and will use them again.

The workers were courteous, efficient and detailed in removing anything I required. They removed overgrown branches from various huge shrubs and removed three large arborvitae and a crabapple tree. The garden in front of the house was cleared and defined along with a scalloped trench. Their gentleness in working around bushes & flowers I wanted to keep was much appreciated. I've used this company many times & will continue to do so.

It went well. The people arrived on time and edged and mulched the beds. We paid extra for the mulch, which was fairly expensive compared to bagged mulch. Called them later for extra work clearing backyard.

The tree service people were great. We were not home for the assessment and did not need to be. We were always called during visits with any questions. Tree trimming was performed efficiently and cleanly (any debris from the trimmings were removed from the property). Similarly any tree removal was performed without our being there and the trees were removed without disturbing any landscaping around where the trees had been. When we had them back for stump removal, the areas surrounding were similarly undisturbed. Finally, for ivy and poison oak removal, all debris was removed from the property. This business does fast, efficient, clean, and reliable work.

They came on time with the bucket truck, which they carefully positioned to get the work done. They were initially very cautious in removing pieces of dead-wood and lowering them to the ground. When a second staff person arrived and took over in the bucket truck, things began to move much faster which was good from a standpoint of getting things done, but a little concerning from the standpoint of caution with the wood coming down. One large branch hit the roof of our garage on the way down, but fortunately doesn't appear to have done any damage. They did a good job cleaning up the debris, and were pleasant throughout. The trees look happier now, and we were pleased with the work. We have used this company in the past to great satisfaction, and will use them again in the future.

Worked with Parks Tree West - Justin is very knowledgable and runs a safe operation. He arrived early, walked the property to confirm scope and gave me recommendations for now and in the future. He was prompt to stop for the initial estimate and provided a quote the same day. I will refer everyone to him for tree care!

They double-seeded the backyard and they did a fine job. We had them come out another time to plant several plants and they did a fine job as well. They cleaned up before leaving and I would defiantly have them come back. Everything worked out very well!
