Description of Work: He did nothing. . I scheduled the service 3 1/2 months ahead of time with the first purchase August 1 2015 on Angies List site as requested. I requested Nov. 17 Nov 18 or 19 for the service. I received no response. I called many times. Sometimes very early in the day 7-8am to late in the day. No one ever answers the phone. I messaged again through Angies List to see if I could get a response that way. Well I certainly got a response that was not expected from what is supposed to be a respected company. They basically said we are not doing the job. Get a refund from Angies List. That is what I am asking for now a refund due to the fact Parks refuses to do the job even though the date has not passed yet.  + -1 moreThe work was not and will never be perfomed. After purchasing the service, Parks promptly contacted me to schedule service, suggesting two days from contact. Unfortunately, I did not see the email until 5 days later, at which time I responded, apologizing, suggesting times when I would be available and providing requested contact information. I also attempted to call during the day to speak to someone. The phone rang continuously and no answering service picked up. The next day, I received a very rude email telling me that they were the service provider, not Angie's List, and they set their schedule. I should contact Angie's List for a refund of my deal. I can forgive misunderstandings, but not the rudeness. Depending on their quality of work, I was considering them for removal of several trees on my property and general landscaping consulting. That will not be happening now, nor will they ever come near my house.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal of 4 hrs of service for fall yard clean up.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job cutting the trees, however they did a poor job cleaning up. They left a mess on my lawn and stated that they didn't have enough room in their truck to take the branches they cut down. They have not come back since that day to pick up the trash. I have requested a partial refund and as a response I got a nasty email from the owner. I have involved the police to try and get the company to clean up after themselves.

 + -1 moreThis contract was confirmed by Angie's List. Since we did not receive a call from the provider, we called him several times and NEVER received a reply. My husband gave him several weeks to return our calls and still we received no reply. I think this is very poor business practice on the provider's part. If he had a problem filling all his orders, all he had to do was call and arrangements could have been made. We really needed the service. We now await a refund from Angie's List.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. It did end up good. They were pretty good in everything. They had more people than originally planned so they shortened the time instead. I'm not sure that's why they didn't probably get an A rating is because they wanted to get finished very, very quickly. A couple of people doing a longer time might have been an A. A couple of people were standing around sometimes.

 + -1 moreThey cracked my brand-new concrete driveway that was only 3 months old. They said they would make up for it by taking an additional amount off of removing another tree in the back. They removed it and said they would come back to grind out the stump and level everything off. They never came back to finish the job. Thankfully, what they did do, they did well.
Description of Work: I had them out on two separate occasions. They did some tree maintenance, and also tree removal.

They aerated our entire lawn and even threw extra seed over a very bald area of our lawn. My husband, who isn't impressed easily, was very impressed with crew. I will be calling Park's Tree in the spring for anticipated landscaping needs.

 + 1 moreI bought a $299 big deal for this service. We did not like this provider. It wasn't that bad. My husband hired these guys and it was like a landscaping company. He hired these guys for, I don't know, five hours a day or something like that. He met with them and he outlined what he had wanted them to do, but it seemed like they took a few shortcuts. My husband had asked them to trim the shrubs and so on, which they did. My husband had also ordered much which they picked up and brought here, which was fine. We had a lot of weeds in our garden and on our property. It looked they didn't pull the weeds and they did not apply any weed killer. Five or six days later the weeds are right back up so that was very disappointing. When they trimmed three of our trees it is as if they just left the tops untrimmed. That was disappointing. In fairness, they were nice guys, professional, clean and cleaned up after themselves. They had consulted with me and ended up getting rid of the shrubs, which I asked them to do ,which was an add-on, which they did without any complaining. In terms of what we asked them to do it was a little shoddy. It was, like, $600 or $700. Not applying weed killer was huge. We are very busy people so we did not give them a chance to fix anything. I would not recommend them. Because they did not do it right I feel I was overcharged. They were late, but they had to pick up the mulch. They should have figured out the time. Their communication with me was fine.

They checked with me to make sure that I was satisfied as the work proceded They were extremely professional! I would definitely use them again when when I need additional tree work to be done. I would rate the company an A+!

 + 0 moreThe fill and regrading were actually pretty good overall, we had a couple of low areas that became swamps with the rain. We wanted the back yard regraded so rain would run off into the woods. At the end of the project, the rain would run off into the "expanded" part of the back yard that was merely a muddy, rutted out dirt pile. I had to argue to get them to bring in more fill and finish that corner of the yard to meet the original plan without charging me. The front yard grading was pretty good however, along the sidewalk in front of the house was not level with the house. Andy talked us out of using weed mat in all the mulch beds stating that the mulch they put in would do just as much. Within 1 month, the mulch beds were turning into weed beds except the area that we had done ourselves, with weed mat, 2 years ago. There was also no edging as discussed on any of the mulch beds, one of which ended up with a stream through it from rain runoff because it had nowhere else to go, something the edging might have helped with. After having Andy come out and take a look, I was simply sent a new quote for another $2,000 to repair the shabby work and never even got any acknowledgment of the lack of edging. At the end of the day, if my company had done this job, I would be ashamed to put my name on it but they don't seem to care and why should they, we already paid them.
Description of Work: bring in some fill, regrade the entire back yard and remove some brush to expand the yard a bit, regrade a portion of the front yard, expand and add mulch beds

I had purchased a deal for three tree professionals for seven hours. They completed the work in advance of the allotted time. Instead of just leaving, I was asked if there was any additional work they could do, and they did it. All debris was removed and everything looks wonderful.  + -1 moreThe tree removal and pruning were done on one day and the tall grass on another day by a different crew. Both showed up as scheduled and completed the work to my satisfaction. The tree removal was difficult - in the front yard and telephone and power cables had to be avoided, plus the work was done right next to my neighbor's yard. They worked very carefully and cleaned up thoroughly as they went along.

Andy was very prompt, polite, clear with his information, and very responsive to my telephone calls. He was able to schedule me VERY quickly which was a nice surprise! The crew of three was absolutely wonderful! Watching Betsy work up in the trees was totally amazing! The crew worked well together, was very polite and very careful not to damage my landscaping, which is quite extensive. I had 3 estimates done and the price Parks Trees gave me came right in the middle. I selected them because of the trust I put in Andy's knowledge,his promptness, clear estimate and good personal skills. I will most definitely use this company again!
