It was okay. It wasn't great. They took two people out and one person was a tree person. He tried to do what he could but they didn't know what they were doing. There were no additional costs. (inaudible).

They charged additional. We ended up paying like another $100 on top of it. They did a good job. It was more of an upsell. They weren't going to get done what they said they were going to get done and were just waiting for you to say, "I want this done." They were not in too much of a hurry to get done until you purchase more. The quality was good. I had a hard time getting hold of them a little bit. They could have worked a little harder. The workers were good.

I was pleased with the work ethic of the men who came to clean up the yard and garden beds. They worked continuously and did a fine job of cleaning up the weeds and debris that had accumulated around the house in the beds over the past year. They raked up dead leaves and took them and many many dead branches away when they left. Trenching the beds made them look edged and neater, plus will keep down the weeds. They followed my instructions and were careful with perennial plants, not dislodging or uprooting any of them. I was there at the beginning, and again at the end of the job, to thank the workers.

It went very well. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone. We purchased home and needed clean up before winter.

It was fine. There was no additional cost.

Everything was great. Steve and his crew were excellent. We always use them for our tree trimming and will continue to do so.

There was a little hiccup in understanding my instructions. I had said to place the 3 yards of mulch in 4 areas, but this was interpreted as 4 yes of mulch in 4 areas. The service men then required payment but my husband refused, as he did not agree to this. Neither did I, but paid it anyway. It might be prudent to get confirmation in the future, but it was still a good deal, and the owner seems to be a square deal guy, based on previous dealings. I think it was just a misunderstanding.

They were supposed to call to schedule delivery. I did not hear from them. I can't remember if I sent an email back or just referred to the instructions on the deal that I booked, but I wound up leaving a voice mail at the office. The original booking said delivery would be within a certain block of days. I never heard back from anyone, but then the truck did show up with the wood. It was after the dates promised, but they did deliver. I was kind of surprised when they showed up because they hadn't scheduled a time. I was lucky to be home because I wanted the wood dumped on the side porch which is a fairly unusual spot. I don't know what they would have done if I hadn't been here. We stacked the wood ourselves. I don't think the original booking included stacking.

Service came immediately after call for a cost estimate. Service was done exactly as requested on time, as scheduled. Invoiced as quoted. Friendly communication.

The price is a little on the high side but they were the only ones i could get this late. The first day of snow there was some delays in getting my driveway plowed but after getting in touch with the provider 3 times I finally got through. Ever since then they have come on time to clear the driveway. I had panicked at first during the first day because of the service delayed and left a bad remark. I fully retract that now

The project went well. The Park's Tree cut down and removed five pine trees. Base diameters of these trees ranged from 8 inches to ~22 inches at the base of the tree. Everything went according to schedule and I was pleased with their professionalism and service

Did not clean up driveway and side walk after aeration

When I called for an estimate, I was called right back. And he was on time the day of the estimate. He was organized to make the appointment that day and was followed up with emails and a phone call. Excellent work, hard working staff. Down to earth personable staff. Six people needed to complete the job due to the size of the tree and the location of the trees. Wood was delivered on time as scheduled. They placed it exactly where I wanted it placed.

I would not recommend them for landscaping. They did not have all the tools they needed (no chainsaw- cutting large limbs from shrubs took too long) and one of the workers stayed out of sight and, apparently, did little. The 3 workers stay was about15- 20 minutes shorter than they said when they arrived (totaling close to an hour of worker time) and most importantly, though they did a good bit of work, MUCH of it was not on my first or second priorities which were clearly stated. (They did weed whacking, for example, where I did not ask, and though it was needed, it was NOT my priority for a paid service. Other reviewers tell a similar story about the landscaping crew. I also thought the crew leader was kind of dismissive about my tip, which was not necessary, and at 20% of the bill, was not cheap either. This was not a good experience for me. The owner did send them back at my request to chop down a few saplings which they missed in the front of the house, (though I had asked for these small saplings to be dug up) so he made an effort to rectify it, but he did not do it readily or with much concern about the concerns I raised (including the short-timimg of the job). I can't speak to how they are at their main line of work, but these subcontractors were sub par.

On November 10, 2015, Steve came out and gave us a free estimate. Our appointment was at 9am, he arrived at 9:30am. We were delighted to find he was cutting the deal price we saw on Angie's List from $1499 to $1299 since it was the beginning of their off-season. Steve also said they were 3 weeks out with their scheduling. We agreed to the new deal, it included the removal of 2 large pines (about 35 feet tall) from a small city lot and grinding both stumps, trimming of the tree on the tree lawn, trimming limbs of 2 of our neighbor's trees which were hanging over in our yard, chipping and hauling away the debris, and clean up. On December 2, 2015, Betsy and Matt arrived at 8:30am, a half hour before the scheduled time of 9am, which was perfectly fine with us. They were both very professional and courteous. After discussing information to ensure what needed to be done, they got right to work. They were careful of the surrounding area, came to the door to inform us periodically of job being done. They did a fantastic job. We are thrilled with the work which was exactly what we wanted and agreed on. They finished at 2pm. We will definitely be having them back for another job in the future.

The crew was very responsive and fast. I thought I had 8 man hours of work for them but they probably did it in 5 man hours and kept asking what else they could do.

They came ahead of schedule - at 9:30 am instead of 3 pm. They were courteous,professional, and finished the job promptly in two hours. Good job.

Professional two man crew. Worked well and quickly on some brush cleaning and general clean up.

The tree was removed in approximately 3 hours. Upon leaving an electrical wire was downed. I was told an electrician would be out the next day to put the downed wire back in place. This was done. I have had shrubbery trimmed by the company in the past. I submitted pictures and gave them an outstanding review of "A". Unfortunately this excellent relationship with Parks Tree ended November 2015. I called Steve (owner of Parks Tree I was told) and told him he had caused some minor damage to my neighbors property (as the neighbor pointed out to me). The damage was the crushing of landscape edging resulting from the truck driven into the backyard to cut the tree. There was also grade damage to the lawn and minor ripping of shrubbery again due to the truck being driven in the backyard. I was appalled at the response from Steve. He shouted at me to READ MY CONTRACT! that he would not be responsible for any damages. Furthermore the downed wire could have killed his employees. ( He said he had to pay $250 to an electrician) I am not without compassion and told Steve that the electrical wire was there when he came to view the job at the outset...he did not deem it or anything else to be a problem. He made a point of telling me He was a professional and that I had a wide open space that would make the work go well. I told Steve his contract was with me and not my neighbor. My neighbor did not buy into the deal and his property damage was minimal but was damaged nonetheless. Steve let me know it was not his problem and that it was up to me to talk to my neighbor. Needless to say I was greatly disappointed having had a Good relationship with the company up until then. His manner of speaking to me...YELLING AND SCREAMING and finally resulting in his response to not call him again and if I needed to communicate with him to do so in writing. This is my written response. I am saddened that this is the manner of care this business owner gives to his customers and ask that my Band of Neighbors in a mature Tree Preserve community know of the experience and manner of care this owner issues to his customers.

It didn't quite come out as well as we were hoping for. It was okay. I don't think we are going to use them again. Their responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism were fine.

They estimated the cost to be much higher than expected so I got a refund from Angie’s List.

Parks Tree always does a great job. We have used them many times for several different services. The lawn aeration and over-seed was done quickly and well.

Was scheduled for a saturday delivery but was offered a chance to have them come by on Friday. They were punctual, I got a got a call ahead, all sorts of good things. The quality of wood appears great, well cured. My only issue is that as advertised they were to deliver a 1/2 cord of wood but you should be aware this is an approximation based upon what they dump out the truck, not a legal definition. I have a wood rack for exactly a 1/2 cord of wood and filled it was about 10% short of the fill line. Again, not bad, I don't think it's malicious and wasn't worth the trouble of complaining over, but just realize that unless ask them (pay them) to stack you may be a bit off what you thought you were getting. Having said, I would happily use them again but may do just that to ensure I'm getting what I pay for.
