Description of Work: I paid for a tree assessment on July 26. The instructions indicated that I would receive a call from Parks Tree by July 30. I did not hear from them. Therefore, I called Parks Tree about a week later. I reached the answering machine and about two days later received a voice mail from Christina asking me to call to make an appointment. I immediately called her back only to reach the answering machine. Subsequently, over the next three to four weeks, I called Parks Tree at least 3 times. I received perhaps two return calls, days after my call, asking me to call them again. Finally, I left a message with Parks Tree stating I wanted a refund for the survey I paid for because they obviously are too busy. That was over a week ago and I have not heard back from them. A service provider that doesn't honor its commitment should not be a part of Angie's list.

Description of Work: Buyers beware, Angie's List took my money, $199. Then I had to call to make an appointment for service with restrictions that I was not aware of. Shame on me for not reading everything carefully. I will not do this again. Please, everyone, read and understand what you are signing up for. Shame on Angie's list for charging me for a "coupon" good for service, whether it is used or not!

Description of Work: Horrible communication within their own office. Told last night to provide address and email. They would ride by and email me an estimate. Told today I have to call and set up estimate. I call. Leave message. Told again I need to call. They never return call. Then I get a message stating they will try again Monday. W**!!! Horrible comprehension and communication skills

Description of Work: Company came to house in May to look at the trees in my yard and to give me an estimate. They were supposed to come back within 2-3 weeks to complete the job. They never came. I called the company and was told once again it would be within 2-3 weeks. I waited but did not hear from anyone. I called again and was told they would come out in 2-3 weeks but was never given an exact date. About a week later, I received an email with an appointment date three weeks out. This was unacceptable, and I hired someone who completed the job within a few days.

Description of Work: Contacted provider to have them come and give estimate, review work to be done. Made appointment. Provider changed date of appointment without checking to make sure I would be available. Provider came out to home, reviewed needed services. Was told someone would contact me to make appt for service to be done. After 3 weeks, no one contacted me. I called company and made appt. On day of appointment, no one showed up. I called company and was told the appt was for the following day, even though I had their e-mail confirming appt. Was totally frustrated and just want refund.

Description of Work: My experience with Parks Tree was very good. They were courteous on the phone and set up an appointment to inspect the trees for the next week for an estimate. They got back to me the next week, emailing an invoice. The invoice stated the trees did not require service at this time. I followed up with the company and they confirmed this. Parks Tree is a very honest company and I plan to contact then in a year or two (per their suggestion).

Description of Work: I called to schedule my Spring clean-up work, and the earliest they could come out was a week later to estimate the job. The estimator was over 2 hours late to our appt, and the ealiest they could schedule my job was 19 days later.

Description of Work: DO NOT BUY THE "BIG DEAL" Coupon from this company! Their prices are inflated when using the coupon. I bought the Big Deal Coupon on 4/22/13 for $249.00 and would get $500.00 worth of tree service. Thought it would be a great deal...called Parks Tree and they quickly came out to give an estimate which was $1150.00 for the work I requested. I thought this was a bit high but had nothing to compare it to so I called two other tree companies for an estimate on the same work. One came in 25% lower and the other was 50% lower! I have written estimates from all three companies describing the same work. What a rip-off! Now I'm stuck with this coupon I already paid for. I'll never buy another Big Deal coupon again and I'll never use Parks Tree service again, obviously over-priced.

Description of Work: I used the Groupon for 2 tree limbs that needed to come down. Had to wait for proper weather, but when the guys came it was with good equipment, they took the correct limbs, and cleaned up beautifully.

Description of Work: They did a good job and cleaned up very good. They were a little slow in responding at first but got better.

Description of Work: They did not show up or call to say why they couldn't come. When I called to see if they were still coming, they didn't return my call.

Description of Work: There isn't much to say. They came and did my entire yard while I was at work. They did a good job. They were even careful of my little crocus flowers in the front yard.

Description of Work: My first call was on April 4th/told the foreman would call me back immediately/it took 5 days for that response. During this conversation with the foreman explained that until the snow melted I hadn't been able to see the bad condition of my lawn. He agreed to my request to analyze the lawn to determine if aeration would help or if another type of service from his company would help. Scheduled an appt for 4/15 "sometime in middle of day" Called me at 4:30.."my 2 men are on their way to your house." Reminded him of our conversation about his coming out to analyze my lawn..he said "oh yeah." I said "this just isn't going to work" and he seemed to agree. Cancellation of service from this company appears to be mutally agreeable.
