Justin was very professional when he came out to give us the estimate for removing 7 dead fruit trees in our backyard. One of the trees was covered in poison oak. The job was completed on the scheduled day and the clean-up was great! The price was very reasonable. We would definitely hire this company again if other services are needed.

They did a very clean, professional job on all three trees. The results are exactly what I would have wished for. They chipped all the branches and limbs they removed using a chipper parked in the street. They cleaned up very nicely. They were very helpful in discussing the health of the trees and possible future procedures to maintain them in good condition. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

We called to get an estimate. Steve arrived to inspect the house and see the trees to be trimmed. He gave a clear estimate and an approximate job date. He originally said he would be here on Friday to perform the job, but called and came on Wednesday. He arrived on time for both meetings. He was professional at all times and efficient in his work. We could not be happier with the service he provided.

It was great. They got right back to me after I called, they were out the next day for an estimate, and they performed the service 2 days later. They were prompt, professional, and inexpensive. Everyone working introduced themselves to me by name. They respected my property and that of my neighbors as well. They were communicative with me through the whole process. I plan on using them again for more work that needs to be done.

Used the Angie's List coupon for removal of a pine tree in my front yard. Estimate was given and tree was removed one week later. Job was done quickly and neatly. It did take a month and a half for someone to grind down the stump. Overall a very good experience with an excellent company.

They didn't follow up on the job, and they said it would cost more to finish the job. I was disappointed on the value of work that was actually done.

We used the $199 Big Deal so we got half off of the original estimate of $400. I communicated with Steve by email to set up an appointment. The appointment was set for 12/14, but I got a call on 12/13 saying they were in the area and asking if they could come out that day. That day and time was fine with us - and it ended up being an even better day than 12/14 weatherwise. Nick & Bill arrived in a reasonable amount of time after I talked to them on the phone. They assessed the situation, taking into account our wetland area that was too deep to allow them to use pull ropes. They cut down the tree, making it fall where we requested - into our wetland area. They leveled off the stump at the height we wanted it. From the fallen tree, they cut off and rolled away the part of the tree that was on the grass. Nick & Bill were friendly and very safety conscious. They answered my 5-year-old son's questions and explained some of the science involved in the tree-felling and log-rolling. The whole job took about 50 minutes.

They were great. They were polite, professional, on time, and did everything they said they would. They were absolutely a pleasure to deal.

Everything from the quote to the actual work went very well. Steve Parks came out to review the work to be done. The trimming was done a week or two later. The guys that came out to do the work were very professional, offered solid opinions of what trees were dead and of concern. They worked diligently and easily provided a good value for what we paid.

The men that came out worked diligently and did a great job cleaning up. We definitely got our money's worth.

I purchased an Angie's list special deal for tree service from Parks Tree service. They were really good about doing all the work I had requested and more. They tied up a large evergreen so it could withstand the winter snows and even cut back a large rose bush which really saved me time. Nick said to give him a call in the spring and he would remove the ties on the evergreen for me since it is so tall. Good job Parks, and thanks to Angie's list for the bargains.

Parks Tree arrived on time. Consulted with me regarding the work to be done and got down to work. They asked me questions regarding what trimming on the trees I wanted done and this allowed me to ask questions and for the technicians to give me expert advice as to how the trees would respond to the trimming and what would be the healthiest and most aesthetic way to trim the trees. I was able to work with them and point out what limbs/branches I wanted removed. I am very pleased with the end result of their work. The technicians seemed knowledgeable and were very helpful. One thing I was disappointed in was the clean up. The tree auger left a mess. They blew some debris around but, after they left , I swept up debris and picked up twigs.

Their work turned out very well, and I thought their price was good compared to others. The workers were polite and courteous, and I would recommend Parks Tree to others.

My experience was horrible. They sent two very young guys, and they were equipped with one blower and one rake. I feel that they didn’t work efficiently, and they got half of my yard finished in the amount of time given. They were very quick to leave, and unprofessional. In fact, one of the workers gave me his personal business card and offered to come back and finish the job himself, independent of Parks Tree.

I haven’t had this service done before, and I was really happy with their work. After they were done, my yard looked completely different. They made a great improvement.

Very professional and high level of expertise in removing an dying pine tree that was very close to the front of my house. Very efficient and knowledgeable in removing some dangerous dead wood in my back yard too. Courteous and articulate, so I had a high level of confidence in the workers early on in the job, and I was not disappointed. Great communications from the first contact in setting up the appointment to keeping me advised as to their arrival and estimated completion of the work. Also did an excellent job trimming a tree that had not had any attention in years. Subsequently I used them for some clean up of fallen wood and debris in the wooded area of my lot and they did a great job with that too. Very respectful of people and property- they left the rest of the landscape and my driveway spotless.

I contacted Parks Tree the week previous and Steve came out to discuss the work I wanted done. He set an appointment for the following week. I was contacted the day before and on the day of just prior to arrival as a reminder. The 2 guys that came were professional. Dead branches in the tree were removed. Branches were cut off to clear the roofs and the power/cable lines. The job was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. All cuttings were removed and the yard was cleaned. I highly recommend Parks Tree to anyone needing tree trimming.

A man in a tricked-out SUV came to give me an estimate, and I thought, "He wants me to help pay for that vehicle." He gave me a $350 estimate to prune four very small trees very conservatively. A few limbs of each were touching the roof or gutter, and that's a no-no in Shaker Heights. The price seemed steep. I got another estimate, $150, from Jim's All Season. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. A mere half hour of work and the job was done to my complete satisfaction. I can't imagine how another $200 would have improved the job.

I had them come out to take a look at the tree and he said he would call me about a time to actually do the work. They called me the day they were coming with no advance notice, so I was not home when the work was done. They did the work and they did not clean up very well. They also left some slashes on the tree that looked like maybe the saw had slipped. My husband also thought they could have trimmed back a few more branches.

I took advantage of one of the Angie's List Big Deals and got two guys for two hours of yard work for $149.00. It was money well spent. The two guys that came out (I'm sorry I forget their names) were both friendly and professional and got a lot more work done in two hours than I was expecting. I wish I could have had them stay another two hours and finish the rest of the job. The place was left spotless. They trimmed down and cleaned up a couple of my larger flower beds and also cleaned the leaves out of a third. I will definitely be calling them back for further work as it needs to be done. I communicated with Steve Parks in advance of the scheduled service date (1) to show him the scope of the job and (2) to get an estimate of the time required to complete the service based on my expectations. At this visit, he indicated that the scope of the job should take the two hours as purchased in the Big Deal. After Mr. Parks completed the estimate, we communicated by telephone and email to set the day and time for the service. Based on this communication, I had recorded the time for this visit as 10:00 AM on my calendar on 10/18/11. After seeking a verbal confirmation from him on 10/17/11, I was advised by a voice message that his crew would be coming at 9:00 AM on 10/18/11, an hour earlier than previously agreed upon. I arrived to my home at approximately 9:30 AM on 10/18/11. The crew was friendly and professional and the service to my tree was already underway at the time of my arrival. Bottom line, the tree was not trimmed as much as I would have liked and as much as previously described and discussed with Mr. Parks. I was disappointed that the scope of the job was not communicated to the crew performing the service. Furthermore, I feel the the crew had ample time left (estimated by me at approximately 25 - 30 minutes based on the fact (1) that presumably they arrived at 9:00 AM and they left at 10:45 AM and (2) taking into account the time required to pause from the job to repair the wood chipper brought to the service call during the appointed two hour time frame ) to continue trimming to satisfy the scope of work as presented to and agreed upon by Mr. Parks at the time of the estimate. Additionally, when I asked for more trimming to be completed I was quoted the terms of the Big Deal and given an estimate of the additional cost to complete the trimming of my tree. I think that had I been able to be there from the moment that the trimming crew arrived that the service would have proceeded better and that my expectations might have been satisfied.

Came on time and cleaned up after themselves..Overall exp..was nice and employees were pleasent to deal with..

The guys showed up when expected and worked in the rain to complete the job. I should note that I could not be present to help convey what I wanted done. They did a great job and I am very happy.

Nick and William were excellent workers. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were very friendly and we would recommend using them and Parks Tree again.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. I had several emails and voice mail exchanges with Steve and he replied promptly by the end of the same business day. He was professional, polite, and honest. In fact, I was planning to pay to have a stump removed ($100 job) and he suggested I just wait as it would decompose on its own given its rotted condition. He could have easily made another $100 on me but did not. They were early to the job and finished within hours. Clean up was spotless. Fantastic service!
