Parks Tree Inc

The two young men from Parks Tree did an excellent job of weeding around my air conditioning unit, even identifying the ground cover that I wanted to keep and weeding around it. The previous week I had ordered weed control material from Gardener's Supply online, and since it had arrived earlier than expected so I postponed the rest of the yard cleanup I had planned and instead I had the Parks Tree employees install it for me. The north and west corners of my garage are bordered by fences installed by my neighbors, with about four and half foot wide "alleys" of weeds, volunteer trees, and grass between the garage and the fences. The Parks Tree employees weed-wacked the vegetative matter and dug out two or three small stumps from volunteer trees before laying down the weed-block material. The material used was NOT the landscape fabric used in garden beds, but instead was the heavier material used at garden centers for pathways - strong enough for foot traffic but permeable to allow rain to flow through into the ground. Although the two men had not previously installed this type of material for this type of usage before, they quickly figured out the best way to lay it out in overlapping rows since it was not wide enough for the entire width of the alleys, then used a rubber mallet to pound in landscape staples to hold the material in place. They made several suggestions about additional material (mulch, pebbles, etc.) that may be needed to keep the edges and seams from lifting up on windy days. The "alleys" are now walkable pathways that provide full access to a utility pole by the garage. As their fiinal task, the men used a leaf-blower to clean up the "helicopter" seeds shed by nearby trees that covered the driveway. All in all, they did a great job and finished within the allotted time. However, because of the installation of the weed-blocking material, I had to postpone the rest of the original yard cleanup that I had planned when I purchased the certificate from Angie's List, and will reschedule it later with Parks Tree. This is the second time I've hired Parks Tree, and I love their work!

The two Parks Tree employees did a great job cleaning up my badly-neglected back yard-garden area. The back yard and garden beds were overrun with with weeds and there were some areas with matted leaves. The narrow strips of land between my garage and neighboring fences were filled with weeds and small volunteer trees. The garage area has been an ongoing problem, and they did a great job clearing it out. Medical problems had prevented me from taking care of the weeds myself, so it was great to have someone else do a far better job than I could ever manage. When the original four man-hours were over, the men had time to stay for an extra hour of cleanup (at an additional charge) to complete as much of the yard as possible. One partially-hidden corner of the yard was in a muddy area with matted leaves that were too wet to rake that day, so the men gave me an estimate for how much it would cost to finish that corner in the spring. SInce they were not able to complete that one area, the men only charged me for an extra forty-five minutes instead of the full hour. Worth every penny!

He removed more branches than I requested, leaving me with less shade. When I shared this, he stated he thought he was doing me a favor. The company requested payment from me before the service had been completed. I requested the service be completed first, I was then informed the removed materials may have to be dumped back in my drive way if I did not pay. I did not feel threatened but it seemed unprofessional.

I bought a Big Deal coupon for landscaping, and they were able to fit me into their schedule in a short time. They sent 3 men who arrived at 8 am ready to work. Very professional. I am very happy with their service, and would absolutely recommend this company

Brian and Mark showed up as scheduled. I explained to them what I wanted. We had a jungle of weeds in our flower beds and they made it look fantastic. They did a great job, worked the entire allotted time and were very courteous. They cleaned up very well and hauled away all of the debris. I have had great luck with Parks Tree Service and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

A Rated. One question came up and Justin and his team immediately took care of it. Good work!

They arrived on time the morning of the job. After a little setup time, getting the truck s in place they quickly started making head way. They started with the trees along the driveway and were carefully and surgically taking out limbs to avoid the lines. Before lunch they had most of the trees taken out. The trees were all taken out in one day and the stumps were ground a few days later.

The two guys who came to do the lawn work were simply wonderful. They were careful to make sure I told them what I wanted and that I was satisfied with the job. They were pleasant, respectful, and responsible. They took time to answer my questions about lawn care and trees. They even took the time to look up the address for a tree supplier. I would definitely hire them again.

Billy and Brian were very professional and very knowledgable about what they were doing. They were very hard workers; from the time they got here until the time they left on top of things. I was very impressed by the whole experience! It is not first time you have used a landscaper, I would recommend this company 100%. I haven't ever worked with someone so good!

I needed to have a fairly large branch cut down that was hanging from a large maple tree. Also needed some pine trees trimmed. Contacted Parks Trees in April, a few days later, a representative came and reviewed all the work that needed to be completed. Was told that they would come out in @ 3 weeks. Right on schedule, 2 Park Tree service associates came cut down the large limb, trimmed 2 other trees, cut down a large bush/tree. Very prompt in returning calls. All the limbs were taken away, yard looks spotless and much bigger with the tree trimmed. Very professional and I am very satisfied by the work performed. Would recommend, will be scheduling an appointment for additional work.

They came out when they said and took care of it, removing all the parts of the chopped down tree.

Fantastic job...over and above what I expected. I asked for a Parks Tree card, called Justin to compliment Billy and Brian, and asked about setting up a yard maintence schedule through the rest of the year. Overall, it was an A+ experience.

This was an excellent overall experience. Parks was the lowest estimate of 6 companies, including larger and more well-known services. The gentleman came out right away after being called, left a written estimate which included money off for the Angie's List coupon, which I had not even mentioned in my original request for the estimate because I was not aware of it. Once we decided to hire them I called to ask when they could come out--some of the other services were giving us a date several weeks away as a likely timeframe. We were told they could come the next day if we wanted. We chose a date 4 days away. The trucks and crew arrived by 8:30am as promised and the job was completed in a few hours very professionally. The crew cleaned up everything beautifully!! The yard looked better than it did before they arrived. We were told the stump would be taken care of ASAP, but likely the following week, which was not an issue. However, the job was done the next day to our surprise and appreciation. I would definitely use them again--next time I'm calling them first!!

I purchased an Angies List coupon for $400 worth of tree service for $200. Soon afterwards I called to make an appointment. Steve came within a few days and looked at the trees which needed trimming, and dead wood removal. He was on time and very personable. Since this was Feb., he said to call later in the Spring when we would like them to do the work. In April, I called to arrange a date. We agreed on 4/12/12 at 9:00 am. Soon after 9 Billy called saying that they would be delayed because of a truck breakdown; that was fine with us as we are both retired. They arrived about 1:00 pm and worked non-stop until 3:45. Because of the problem with the truck, they did not have the use of the "bucket", so they had to throw ropes and climb into all of the trees to do the work. Billy and Brian worked well as a team, and were amazingly skilled and creative getting to all of the limbs that needed cutting. They asked us several times if they were getting what we wanted done. Absolutely! We were very pleased with their work. I did offer to pay an additional sum to cover the extra time it took them to get to all three trees, but they assured me that they had talked to their boss, Steve, and he said all was okay. Their inability to bring their usual equipment was the reason it took a bit longer, they said. They had removed an entire large (mostly dead) tree in a neighbor's yard last fall and we were impressed with them then as well, as they had to use part of our yard as they worked. I wish their truck had a Parks Tree Service logo/name on it as this is good advertising! I will spread the word.! Lastly, the owner told us that they were donating several hours of tree removal work to clean up Cleve Hts parks.

They showed up on time and where very polite, they went over what they where going to do, just to make sure everyone was in agreement. They where very safeity oriented, not only for them selfs but for my property, so they did not damage anything with some of the big equipment. They cleaned up everything, they raked my yard and made sure that all branches where picked up. They showed very high respect for us, the employees manners where extremely exceptional. This is the 2nd year we have used this company and we will continue to us them in the future. I highly recommend this company.

This is the second time I've had Parks Tree out to do yardwork for me. They cleaned out more of flower beds and did a great job but didn't clean up quite as much as the previous crew. The weed 'n' feed they put down is working wonderfully as the weeds have been the worst I've ever seen them. Very friendly crew, again, and I'll definitely have them out for more work. I'm impressed how much they can get done in just a couple hours.

I used the "Big Deal" from Angie's List and I was comfortable using him because of the good reviews. They hauled away all of the trimming. Steve came out ahead of time and asked what I wanted done and we discussed it, and then he set up a time for the men to come out and do the work. He called and came when he said he was going to come. He had warned me that he had 10 people before me and then they did the work nicely. And he verified with me that I was pleased with the work and that they had done what I wanted. He made it go very easily. The Big Deals are wonderful! He had been in the market before, and his son is a Certified Arborists and their business is doing very well. You feel very good knowing that you are hiring someone that is safe and responsible. I will continue to use their services again in the future.

The crew arrived on time to perform the work (3 man crew) and did an excellent job. The trees are now not a safety hazard for our utility lines and they look great. Amazingly, there was no damage to any plants and the crew took exceptional care in not stepping on plants or damaging the garden below the work area. They did a fantastic job of cleanup too.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Parks Tree to anyone and will most certainly use them again. The crew was very professional, quick and respectful of our property and request.

I purchased a "Big Deal" coupon for 4 manhours of lawnwork. I e-mailed Justin to schedule a date. Justin responded promptly and we discussed the work to be done. I requested that the leaves and debris be removed from behind my garage and shed first, then the remaining lawn be cleaned as time permitted. I was out of town when the work was performed. The crew showed up on the scheduled day and cleaned the yard beautifully. Every twig and leave was removed from the lawn. Unfortunately, only a small portion of the area behind the garage was cleaned. I contacted Justin and discribed the work that had been done. There had been some miscommunication on their part. Justin dispatched a crew within a day to finish the work we agreed to (clean behind tthe garage and shed). The work was done quickly and thoroughly. I am very pleased with the work. Justin was very responsive initially, as well as once I contacted him to resolve the discrepancy. I would use this company again.

These guys were great. They arrived bright and early and got right to it. I had purchased a coupon for a discount on their services and it worked out very well. They told me the stump grinder guy would be there the following week and that I should mark the stumps with paint. Before I could get that done I noticed the stump guy had already been there way ahead of schedule. I would definitely recommend these guys. So far everyone I've contacted from Angie's List had been great. I've made a lot of good contacts.
