YEAR ROUND Landscaping

I had considered using this company if I saw any improvement with my lawn but the bare minimum was performed while they were trying to win my business. I was really annoyed when the person saying they were to owner said he would come out and look at the lawn to give suggestions for a healthy lawn he never came or followed up. I rather have someone to say nothing then say they will do something then not follow through. People like this do not deserve my time.

The company was prompt, careful, and very professional. We were pleased with the work they did for us. We will use them again.

Came on a different day than what we agreed on. We never saw them or spoke to them after the phone calls.

I saw evidence of 1 visit, when flags were placed in front yard. I have no evidence that any other treatments were performed and can not say I see much of an improvement in weeds. I emailed the company 4 times asking for details and received no response. What's a great price if you can see that any work was performed.

No decrease in weeds. No increase in viable grass.

Communication with this company was rocky at first, but once we talked and I explained why I needed prompt service, they made it work.

It took numerous times to get in touch with the company. The guys who did the work didn't listen to my instructions and put mulch under the wrong trees. I won't use this company again.

I have not heard from Mr Woods since May 19 and I quite frankly don?t know what to do at this point. I hope AL can help. I paid for this service back in February 2015 and appears I am out $999 and without the help I so needed to have this spring/summer. Before I purchased the BIG DEAL I contacted Mr Woods to verify they serviced my area. He said yes and now all of a sudden I am too far away. I have had only 3 mows and one trip to clean and edge out about 45 lf of beds. I paid for what I thought was a 12 month service and got less than 1 month.. I was constantly trying to keep lines of communication open with Mr Woods, which became very frustrating. Once I finally did meet him, he seemed very sweet, genuine and eager to help. It has turned out that he is not much of a businessman. He does not know his companies capabilities and therefore made a promise/commitment he could not keep. He has kept my money and wants to charge me for unauthorized work due to his lack of communication with his people!! On more than one occasion I asked to be called so I could be at the house when workers would be there. I even received a phone call from his service asking if I wanted 48 hr prior notice to which I said YES! But that never happened. Mr Woods asked my thoughts on refund and I gave my thoughts. He said he would craft a reasonable compromise but I have not heard a word since May 19. Another thought I have now is that the BIG DEAL was for a full year of landscape services. I got less than a month. $999/12 = $83.15 $999 ? $83.15 = $915.75. Additionally, while my mower was been in the shop I have paid $150 for the week of May 18 and May 25 to have what Year Round Landscape was to mow because Mr Woods breached his contract. Thank goodness my mower is out of the shop now. This breach of contract has cost me money and has not saved me the time or given me the help I so needed. The settlement I first suggested to Mr Woods and my thoughts since was very generous; however as I am writing this, having to pay for a service that Year Round Landscape was to have provided, and knowing I can not get such a Big Deal this late in the season I am thinking I am entitled to the full refund of $999.

Terrible. The own continuously tried to change the contract to the benefit of the company.

Purchased a Big Deal for 4 hrs. yard cleanup for $99.00. Due to uncooperative weather (early spring rain) there was a delay in having service performed, which was fine as I was informed via e-mail. 3-man crew showed up unannounced to do work, and they completed cleanup in about 2 hours. Crew did a very nice job and I was quite impressed. The not-so-good part came when I received an invoice for $100. Called and left message with night service regarding bill, and received a phone message a couple days later from owner, informing me that because there were 3 men in crew and they were on job for about 2 hours total, that there was an additional charge of $100 for additional worker for the two hours they were there. Breakdown of special was 1 man for 4 hours or 2 men for 2 hours. Since there were 3 men, time was reduced to about 80 minutes per man (80 X 3 = 240 minutes / 60 minutes/hour = 4 hours time). I did not realize there would be any additional charge, and think this should have been more prominently displayed in the special. I also did not ask for 3 men to be sent out, but this may be standard procedure. That is fine, but again, this should have been made clear at the beginning, as honestly, I think two men could have done this job just as easily. I have spoken with Mr. Woods and I am paying the additional $100 charge. I am quite happy with the service, I just wasn't expecting the additional charge.

I have had bad experiences with landscapers in the past even some from Angie's List so I was not too optimistic about this company. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. They have excellent customer service... generally show up when they say they will and they flat out have done EXCELLENT QUALITY work SO FAR. There was some disagreement on the terms of service, but that was straightened out quickly and fairly. There has been good communication... which I consider good customer service. It seems they'll do whatever is necessary to make the customer happy... which I find unusual. Update (12/1) - They just finished cleanup of our yard and we were extremely pleased with quality of service. All things considered, this has been the best landscaping business we've found in the past few years and will be repeat customers.

Provider was unresponsive when I tried reaching them via email and phone. Only when I threatened to contact AL and complain did I get a response. The service was then scheduled but nobody showed up, scheduled a second time with much difficulty...again no-show. By the third attempt 2 months had passed and my grass was already ruined for the season. The guy that runs that shop (Ti) is dishonest and does keep appointments...so I would avoid these guys at all cost. Requested refund through AL.

Work was done. No real change yet. It is to soon to tel.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal from this company for one year of total landscaping. We are about a month into it and they have done a great job so far. Our yard looks fantastic and the staff has been very friendly and attentive.

I had a problem with a big deal I got form Angie’s List and I felt like the company was trying to scam me. I called Angie’s List and they said it was past 30 days so there was nothing they could do. I paid $750 for a 10x12 patio and it said delivered ad installed. I could not get anyone to call me back. They did reached out to me immediately but then the communication kind of drop off but the weather was pretty bad. They said after the weather hey will contact m to go over everything. They finally came out last week and they guy was like it does not include excavation and to get it installed is another $800. He said it was in the fine print and I looked and it was there. I told him I was going to call Angie’s List and he said go ahead because he wish he never did the big deal. They took like $750 from me.

Responds quickly via phone but started out with a slow response in getting here because they got very busy with spring clean ups. Once they got past the rush, they have been doing a superb job. My yard looks great.

When I called, the owner answered. One treatment done. They arrived when they said they would. We'll see how the next two go!

They were wonderful! I would give them triple A's! I talked to Ty Woods (the owner) who was so helpful and courteous. He was so accommodating and sent me a beautiful and personable letter. I was so appreciative of his professionalism. He truly cares about his work and loves what he does. I would definitely use them again!

The company was very unresponsive. They were very hard to get in touch with. They were willing to honor the deal that I purchased.

I had purchased a big deal for four hours of landscape clean-up. Ti Woods contacted me within a couple of days to set an appointment. The workers arrived on time. After I showed them what needed to be done, they went right to work and did an excellent job completing what I had asked them to do. I was quite pleased with the end result.

I have asked them to provide a refund or I will contact Angie's list to pursue a refund.

First let me say that my C grade on responsiveness is probably because they are so busy. I jumped on an opportunity to spend $99 for 4 hours of clean up, and I'm sure 100's of people throughout Columbus did the same thing. So I expected the contact to be average, and that's what I got. They did have an answering service that answered my call each time I tried to schedule the appointment. Once I spoke with Ti on the phone, he was really personable, professional, and just a pleasure to talk to. He called on Friday and said they would try to be out that day, but if not, they would be out on Saturday which was the case. I asked him if they could come early so I go to the Spring Game, and he was very happy to make that work. I thought that the guys would get some of the stuff on my list done, but to my surprise, the 3 guys just flat out WORKED, and worked hard. Not only did they get my entire list complete, but I found a few other things they got done also. I took some business cards so I can give them to my neighbors and would highly recommend Year Round to anyone. I will have them back in the fall, and I will have them out again next spring. Thanks Ti. You have a life long customer now.

Very nice on the phone, always promised that I was on the schedule for this day or that day, but never showed. I asked twice for the owner to call me and did not hear back. Would not recommend

The three men worked constantly and did what I asked.
