We live in a remote area northeast of Columbus, and we wanted a home security provider who would not only be able to install the equipment but provide us with specific security features that we were interested in potentially purchasing/learning more about. After doing some research as well as reviewing recommendations from Angie's LIst, we reached out to Ultimate Technology Security & Solutions (UTSS) along with two other home security providers. We realized almost immediately that UTSS was the right choice for us! I called to inquire about their services and left a voicemail for the company. I received a callback the same afternoon from UTSS' owner Don Shick. At the end of my call with Don, he offered to come out and meet with us for a free consultation (the other two providers did not offer that option). We made an appointment, and he came out to see us within that week! No pressure or hard sell, he simply reviewed what he offered, talked to us about our needs and answered our questions, and did an assessment of our home. He made a recommendation to us on the best home security option, and then he worked with us to tweak it here and there to provide us with what we wanted. A few other key notable mentions: -Pricing was very competitive; -We were impressed with the monitoring service that his company uses; -His son did the installation--did a great job and took time to explain the system to my husband; -We can add on later (driveway sensors/cameras) to our current system which he would be able to accommodate. Don takes pride in his company--he had excellent credentials, and demonstrated a customer focus that you rarely see with large home security providers. We were very pleased with our entire experience!

These guys are great. Don originally came out to do a quote and listened to what we were looking for in a system. He then made suggestions of things we should also consider (water and smoke sensors). After hearing what he had stated is was worth the extra money to add these services. Equipment cost was reasonably priced. The monitoring price is much lower than the competition. Installation was smooth. It was completed in a very timely fashion. Don and his son took the time to review the system with us and made us feel like we knew what to do when they left. While they were doing the installation Don suggested Glass Break Sensor on our basement windows and installed them at no extra charge. Thanks Don.

This company came to my rescue after I was misinformed by the national security company that provided my security system for several years. I was originally told that I could discontinue monitoring and use my system as a "local" alarm. When monitoring was discontinued, the alarm started beeping and displayed at trouble signal message. When I contacted company, I was told that I would need to disarm the system and could not use it as a "local" alarm unless I bought the equipment for $500. When I contacted UTSS, Don Shick listened to my story and offered to come out and look at the system. He installed the new equipment on 1/2/2012, a holiday. He replaced three window sensor and only charged labor even though they were here an extra hour. He and Dayne were very easy to deal with. Don explained and demonstrated several of the services his company offers. I have neighbors and friends who can definitely benefit from this broader range of services and I will certainly refer them to UTSS without reservation. I recommend this company for any security needs without reservation.

I have a contract with a national company and was having problems with my alarm system. I called them and they said they would have somebody call me. It was 4 days before they would be abel to help. I called Don and he said he would come out and he was out within 2 hours. He said he knew it was not his system but he would come out anyway. He determined what the problem was and he said he would go and pick up the part. He came back the next morning and replaced the part and everything worked fine. He was very reasonable on price. I offered a tip and he said no that he just wanted a handshake. He was wonderful.

I found them on Angie's List. It's a local company. We had been with another company and they raised their prices again. I checked Angie's List and I found this company which had half the price. Their service was way better too. One thing is that if we have a problem the owner answers the phone personally and takes care of it. There was some installation fee and the amount was approximately $200. It also included carbon monoxide detectors, new panels, glass break detectors and a lot of stuff. I'm getting my monthly bill which is about $32 a month as apposed to over $60 from another company. I'm getting more from Ultimate Technology & Security Solutions LLC which is really good. They are excellent. The initial visit, the guy just came out and talked to us and he spent a lot of time going over all the possibilities. He gets into some really serious technology which we didn't really need, but he spent a tremendous amount of time just going over everything. Once we decided to go with him, he came with his son. He and his son did the work and they fairly spent a long time. It took probably about 3 to 4 hours. He walked us through step by step. Their price is very good because they brought our cost way, way down. Their responsiveness is good because they respond immediately with a live person. His punctuality is amazing because once we had a problem and he showed up in 20 minutes. His professionalism is really good. I would use him again in the future. I always recommend him to people too.

Don, the owner, came out on Thursday and looked at my system. He told me it would be no cost to activate and replace the battery. The monthly monitoring charge would be $26.63 including tax. Dwayne came out Monday and did the work.

Had a window replacement and needed to reinstall the alarm contacts. Bob came out and had us all set up in a less than 1/2 hour. What was really cool, Bob was very sensitive about the quality of the install and the appearance of the final job. Communicated very well. No surprises, which is always good. I'd use these guys again.

Dane and UTSS were very helpful and would not hesitate to call them again. They are a local small business and they take a lot of pride in their work. We were just a small job but Dane took his time and made sure we understood the system before leaving. We are very happy.

This is a father-son owned business. The father, Don spends plenty of time explaining the equipment by going room to room and giving options. If anything, he undersells the total number of sensors and equipment other companies recommended, trying to save me money. Dayne installs the equipment. He matches color of the sensors to the area protected and takes his time testing and explaining the systems featured. I asked for additional sensors, unnecessary but to add overlap protection. I found that Dayne was easily accessible by phone for some follow-up questions. I highly recommend this company.

Very professional! You are going to get the same professionalism as any large alarm company. You will get personal attention. They were on time and not too pushy. Would recommend to anyone!

I requested an alarm system and monitoring service. The owner responded immediately; came out the next day to survey my home and gave me a quote for the system and service. He was professional, friendly and helpful in suggesting ways to use the system I had not thought to ask about. The owner and his son returned within a few days to install the system. Everything done on time, within the quoted amount and provided training and testing to my complete satisfaction. I found the experience of dealing directly with the owners of the business vastly superior to other situations where, if a problem arose, you are never sure if the company is aware of the problem. I would recommend UTSS and I would use them again.

It costs approximately $35 a month for monitoring, but I can access my home alarm system from my computer or my mobile phone. He was very easy to work with and did a great job. He was on time and was very professional.

They were later than the original appointment time as their earlier job ran long, but they did keep us updated on their ETA with calls. When they did arrive on that Friday afternoon, they worked quickly and took the time to explain the products and helped us feel comfortable using them. One thing I would have liked was if the new smoke sensors could have been installed over the old ones instead of next to them, it would have saved me time painting and patching those holes.

All went well. Company is family business and very responsive to calls and emails. Did not try to sell us anything. In fact, we might have liked it if they had brought us some samples of portable panic buttons or intercoms, etc.

Dan called back soon and kept his word. Both him and his crew were very nice and I am very pleased with their work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a security system.

I interviewed 3 Alarm Companies and decided to go with Ultimate Technology & Security. Don and Dane surveyed my home and from there offered various alarm options that fit my specific needs. I was very impressed with their product knowledge and professionalism. I went with a wireless system that I can also control remotely with my I Phone. The entire experience has been a positive one. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a security system.

***First, we've used Don Shick since 2008. The initial install went well and over the years, we've had a successful and seamless service with Ultimate Technology. *** I contacted Don on the 11th of March, and we made a mutually agreeable time for Don to check the trouble code after ATT had been in our home installing UVerse. The first question Don asked, "Has anyone been doing work at your home?" I didn't think a TV install was relevant, but that's when the problem began! Apparently the ATT tech had disconnected or cut the alarm wire for our glass sensor. With the size of our home, and extensive wiring, Don suggested using a wireless sensor to replace the previous "hard wired" sensor. Don and his son had the appropriate replacement part and the work was done within minutes. The cost was only $99 and I feel safe and secure knowing Ultimate Technology is monitoring our home.

The owner, Don Shick, completed my work himself. He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. I met with multiple security companies that had high ratings on Angie?s list but Ultimate Technology was by far the best choice. They were clearly the most experienced and offered the lowest prices for system installation and monthly monitoring fees. Ultimate Technology used the security system which was installed by the previous owner to save me the installation fee. Additionally, they made minor repairs to my system free of charge. Don came to my house twice and both times he answered all of my questions. He didn?t leave my house until I felt confident in operating the system. Responses to my emails and phone calls were prompt and informative. The other security companies were more expensive and lacked the personal touch that makes Ultimate Technology the best choice! Because of the flexibility of Ultimate Technology, the entire process was simple and painless for me.

We pay for 3 months at a time. They were very professional, very accommodating and clear in their explanations. They told us what wouldn't work and what they thought was the best for our particular situation. They are highly dependable and flexible. They are very punctual which is important to me. They are very thorough in their explanations and so far we've been very pleased.

Don and Dayne were great to work with! I greatly appreciated their honest, down to earth approach to home security. Our appointment felt like a conversation rather than a sales pitch. I called Mr. Don Shick of Ultimate Technology & Security Solutions, regarding a problem with my alarm system. Both Mr. Shick, and his son Dayne came out, diagnosed the problem, and rendered repairs. Both of those gentlemen are two fine professionals, who are indeed a credit to the alarm industry. One always receives top notch, professional service from this Company. In addition, the monitoring service which they utilize, is also run by professionals. In conclusion, it is a pleasure to deal with this company.

The owner arrived at our home at the time we set, and gave a description of the options and quotes. The worker arrived when promised, did the installation to our complete satisfaction, explained the operation, and cleaned up when finished.

Don and Dayne did a great job. They were prompt, curteous and above all thorough. They made two trips to complete the job: the first trip got the system up and running and the second trip to install new sensors that I decided to have installed but which they didn't have stocked on their truck. Overall, highly satisfied with the installation and testing of the equipment. Can not comment on the monitoring service until it is used (and hopefully never will be). A great company to do business with.

Don and his son installed the system with minimal disturbance to the interior to our house. He was very good at explaining options and providing recommendations as to the level of security that would be needed. I particularly like that they provide maintenance at no additional cost for labor. Also, it is reassuring that any potential issues with the monitoring company would be handled by Ultimate Technology.

I contacted Ultimate Technology (based on info. from Angie's list) to install a home security system. Mr. Shick and his son arrived on time and patiently answered all of my questions. They then installed the system and showed me exactly how to use it. They were professional, friendly and very competent. I would recommend them to everyone who wants/needs a security system.
