SAWMILL LAWN MOWER REPAIR

The company picked up our lawnmower on the day I called and returned it in less than a week. It was a very simple, easy process and I didn't even have to haul my mower anywhere. The mower was sparkling clean when it was returned and it runs great.

It went very well. We had two push mowers with issues, he came to our house and placed both on his large clean mobile work shop trailer and did his examination/repair then returned them to my garage.

My son overfilled the mower with oil. We called Barry and he was able to come out the next day for what we thought would be relatively simple. He found more problems and we ended up replacing the engine, crankshaft and blade. The work was well done. The mower looks and performs like new. The only issue was on the timeliness of completion. We were out of town, but expected the mower would be back in a week for our son to use. There was confusion on completing the work, so it was another week before we got the mower back. The grass was pretty high, but the mower worked well, so this didn't really end up being a big problem. Barry was very friendly and spent a lot of time explaining what had to be done. We'd use him again. Thanks.

I submitted for blade sharpening and he apparently put too much oil in it and messed up the engine. I guess when I got it back, it didn't run as good as I expected it too.

It was a difficult job. They had to completely re build the carburetor. The only complaint I have was that it took them a long time to get the job finished. But they were friendly and very helpful explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done.

Mr. Berry Woods answered my call and gave me options for fixing it myself. I didn't have the proper tools to repair it so he came out the next day to fix it. He pulled out the spark plug and cleaned/reinstalled it and made sure everything was up and running. I truly appreciated his willing nice to make things right for me.

They diagnosed and repaired quickly.

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE CONVENIENCE. THEY WERE ALSO ABLE TO GET ONE OF THE LAWNMOWERS RUNNING THAT DID NOT APPEAR TO WORK PRIOR TO THE TUNE-UP. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND THOROUGH.

THE PRICE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THEN I HAVE PAID TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY, IN THE PAST YEARS, FOR THE SAME WORK, BUT THE QUALITY IS NO DIFFERENT.

OTHER THAN ONE MISCOMMUNICATION ABOUT WHEN THE MOWER WAS TO BE PICKED UP, THIS WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. BARRY WAS COURTEOUS, JOVIAL AND DID A FINE JOB.

HE IS A VERY NICE MAN. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM IN THE FUTURE FOR REPAIRS AND ANNUAL MAINTENANCE.

NO HASSLE GETTING THE MOWER IN FOR SERVICE, THEY PICK UP AND DELIVER !!! THIS HUSBAND-WIFE TEAM WAS GREAT. SHE PICKED UP OUR MOWER AND DELIVERED IT BACK IN GOOD WORKING ORDER IN ONLY 4 DAYS! NOT ONLY THAT, IT CAME BACK CLEANER THAN IT LEFT. AT MY REQUEST, BARRY ALSO REPLACED THE STARTER PULL ROPE. ONLY SMALL COMPLAINT WAS THAT HE MADE THE NEW ROPE A ABOUT A FOOT TOO LONG WHICH I SIMPLY KNOTTED TO REDUCE ITS LENGTH. THE MOWER IS WORKING LIKE A CHAMP. CONSIDERING I DID NOT HAVE TO LUG THIS THING TO AND FROM A REPAIR SHOP AND THAT IT CAME BACK WORKING SO WELL AT A FAIR PRICE, I'D RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE COMPANY AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE INITIAL CALL BACK FOR SERVICE WAS PROMPT, BUT THE PROMPTNESS ENDED THERE. THEY DIDN'T PICK THE MOWER UP WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD. THEY ALSO DIDN'T CALL TO LET US KNOW THAT THE MOWER NEEDED A NEW PART AND THAT IT HAD TO BE ORDERED. FINALLY, IT WAS DELIVERED THE DAY AFTER THEY SAID THAT IT WOULD BE. THEY HAD US TAPE THE CHECK TO THE FRONT DOOR IN AN ENVELOP AND THEN DIDN'T EVEN PICK IT UP THAT DAY. IT WAS BAD ENOUGH HAVING TO DO THAT, BUT THEN TO HAVE THEM NOT TAKE THE CHECK IS A SECURITY RISK THAT WE WOULD NOT CHANCE AGAIN.

THE OWNER DID A GOOD JOB ON THE REPAIR. HE IS A NICE MAN, BUT, VERY DISORGANIZED. IT WAS 2 WEEKS FROM THE TIME I CALLED AND HE AGREED TO PICK UP THE MOWER BEFORE HE DID SO, AFTER 4 MORE CALLS. I HAD TO CALL THREE TIMES TO GET IT BACK, 2 MORE WEEKS LATER. I WOULD RATHER PAY A BIT MORE FOR BETTER RESPONSE TIME. I THINK IF I HAD NOT CALLED 8-10 TIMES, HE WOULD HAVE KEPT THE MOWER FOR 2 MONTHS. HE DOES GOOD WORK BUT, CAN'T KEEP TRACK OF HIS WORKLOAD. EACH TIME I CALLED I HAD TO DESCRIBE MY LAWN MOWER TO HIM. IF THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS, I'LL DO MY OWN REPAIRS.

SAWMILL LAWN MOWER REPAIR PICKED UP MY LAWN MOWER DURING THE TIME PERIOD INDICATED, PROMPTLY REPAIRED THE CORD, AND RETURNED MY LAWN MOWER THE SAME DAY. BOTH BARRY WOODS AND HIS REPAIRMAN (BRIAN) WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS IN ALL COMMUNICATION. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE REQUIRING LAWN MOWER REPAIR.

TOOK 3 WEEKS FOR THE REPAIR, AND THEN THEY HAD TO COME TO MY HOME TO CORRECT AN ERROR THEY MADE, BUT THEY WERE RESPONSIVE AND QUICK TO COME OUT

THE MTD DID NOT RUN CONSISTENLY WHEN RETURNED and NEITHER DID THE SELF-PROPELLED SYSTEM. THERE WAS ALSO A SERIOUS DELAY IN RETURNING THE MOWERS THE FIRST TIME. THEY DID PICK-UP THE MTD AND PERFORM THE APPROPRIATE REPAIRS IN A REASONABLE PERIOD OF TIME.

BARRY IS FRIENDLY AND ENGAGING ON THE PHONE. HOWEVER, HIS SHOP SEEMS DISORGANIZED. CALL HIM A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE WORK IS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED TO MAKE SURE HE IS ON TRACK.

MR. WOODS RETURNED MY CALL TO HIS ANSWERING MACHINE THE NEXT DAY AND ARRANGED TO PICK UP MY SNOW BLOWER WITHIN TWO DAYS. TWO DAYS AFTER PICK-UP THE REPAIRED UNIT WAS DELIVERED TO MY HOME, WORKING PERFECTLY. HIS RATES WERE REASONABLE AND AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, HE DID GOOD WORK. WELL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

PICKED UP AND DELIVERED MOWER WELL AFTER HOURS. FINISHED AS PROMISED AND WHEN PROMISED. WORKS GREAT.

HE IS SLOW IN RETURNING CALLS. SAID HE'D CALL WHEN HE HAD AVAILABILITY BUT HE HASN'T CALLED YET. I'VE WAITED SINCE SEPTEMBER 2001

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPANIES I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF MY LAWNMOWER, THEY REPAIRED IT TO AN EXCELLENT STANDARD, AND THEY FINISHED THE WORK IN THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD ALL AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR MORE.

MOWER SOUNDS BETTER THAN WHEN THEY BOUGHT IT.

WE CALLED THIS AFTERNOON, HE CAME THE SAME DAY, FIXED IT IN FIVE MINUTES, AND SHOWED HOW WE CAN FIX IT SO IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.
