Tuck pointed the brick fascia on my home, did a good job.

Very friendly and nice to work with. He promptly returned by call and quickly came out to give an estimate. Started the work a couple of weeks later and finished everything we needed within a couple of days.

The top step next to the porch was sinking and had to be torn out and redone. The rest of our steps from the driveway to the front porch were extremely high and unattractive, so Mark turned our 5 big steps into 9 beautiful steps. The new steps look great and are so much easier for people to use. The entire front of the house looks better because of this change. Mark was great to work with---called us back the same day we called him. He made several trips to the house to see the current steps and then helped us chose how we wanted the finished project to look. He told us the work would be done within 3 weeks and it was! We are really well pleased with Mark's work---the finished project speaks for itself.

He came out and looked at it. It was such a small job he said he would come out and do the work in a couple days. They got it done right away and did a good job. The basement window does not leak any longer.

Mark did a great job. His price was right, and he repaired several other areas that I found once we removed the bushes. He matched the grout perfectly, even though the house is 65 years old. He gave me a lot of tips on how to do my own repairs on some of my other properties. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mark corrected the grouting issues we knew needed attention. Our paver patio looks so much better, and we were so impressed with Mark's attention to detail.

Mark was awesome. I had several quotes for this work, and he was not only the best price, but also was very diligent on what he thought did and did not need to be repaired. After his initial quote, I asked him to come back because I thought his price was too low, that he must be missing something. He took plenty of time with me, walking around the entire property, and made some suggestions regarding what to do in certain situations. He said that the flashing around the chimney did not need to be replaced (as one estimator said), and said that if I got him a caulk tube of flashing cement he would fix that for me, no charge. He then called later in the day to remind me to get the cement for him. He asked me if I could trim and/or remove the bushes for him to have access to the front wall, and I decide to remove the bushes for other non-related reasons. At this time I found a lot more issues that we didn't see on his first two trips. It was a lot of additional work. I told him to do the work and we would negotiate the price later, as I knew he would be fair about it. At the end of the job he asked if $150 for all of the extra work was fair, and it certainly was. He also gave me tips on mixing mortar and concrete myself, as I have other properties in Ohio that I need to work on. He was very helpful, even showing me the tools he used to remove old mortar, and the tools he uses to pack the joints. Mark is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to working with mortar and cement. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Work was performed to my expectations and looked very nice when complete.

Mark did an excellent job matching the color of the cracked bricks as well as the mortar! The repairs were made over the garage door and it is almost impossible to see the repaired area. Couldn't be more pleased with his work. A true artist with matching the color in the brick and mortar.

Mark very professinal and had job done within two weeks of our initial call.He only replaced what was needed. He did not try to talk us into the whole sidewalk being replaced. A very nice experience.

Mark came out and gave estimate. Said he could do the job in about a week. He did a great job and we are happy to find a contractor that knew his work. He cleaned up everything when he finished. We have multiple chimneys and had multiple problems - Mark has done excellent work for us in the past - he gave us an estimate - then discovered more extensive damage than he could see previously - we arrived at a price - he came to the job as agreed - and did more than he was contracted for. I have every confidence our winter will fare better for the chimneys because of his work. Strong recommendation.

Mark is very professional and very responsive. I left a message on his phone about wanting an estimate, and he called me back right away from his cell phone while he was on vacation! I told him that I was in no hurry and that he could take his time getting to my job. He called me every week to let me know where my job was on his list.I told him that he did not have to do this, but he did it anyway. When my job came to the top of his list, he completed the the job extremely well. It was not an easy piece to patch and make look good, but he did it! I am very happy with Mark's work and how my brick flower box looks.

He came out and looked at it. He said he could tear it down but I would have to remove all the stuff. He said it wasn't really worth doing.

I found Mark on Angie's list and he was exceptional. He was very conscientious.

He was puctual, professional and he also told me that the" concrete safe" ice melters still damage mortor between bricks. I will call him again if I need future brick work.

Mark did a beautiful job. Promptly replied to our request for an estimate, and he was able to start the job exactly when he said he would. Very good about answering all of our questions.

Mark was very quick to call me back and was lower in cost than the others that I called. He seems to know a lot about concrete issues and advised me on things that he could do that would preserve the new sidewalk. The former sidewalk had been undermined by water damage and was breaking apart. He changed the direction of the walk for me and ensured that I got the correct shade of this undyed concrete by selecting a specific supplier. All of the work was completed within one week from contract date and would have been completed earlier except for rain. He also does paver patios and walks and I may use him in the future for this. He cleaned up the work area when finished. I would use him again.

Quote was fair and for $475. Called Mark in June of 2012 and he honored the quote we received the year before. While completing the work 10 days after our conversation as scheduled, he suggested that we may wish to reinforce the concrete with rods which we agreed to at the additional price point of $35 for supplies. We were pleased with his timeliness and he was a pleasure to work with.

Mark Monnette was a delight to work with from the first phone conversation. He's been super prompt, responsive, interested in making sure we are pleased with his work, very reasonable, and just strikingly kind. We wish we had called him to do this work when we moved into the house eight years ago rather than now that we're moving out. It looks fantastic. Excellent experience.

I originally asked for a quote on my patio, but Mark thought it wasn't really a problem - just normal settling. So I asked him to quote tuck pointing at my rental property. He gave me a reasonable quote and did an outstanding job. In fact, I plan to hire him to do more work at the rental property.
