Mark Monnette Masonry

Mark was a pleasure to work with. He responded to my original phone message for an estimate promptly and stopped at the house within days and gave an estimate. The work was done in the agreed upon time frame and he did a good job of cleaning up after the job was completed. The price was also less than half of my other estimate.

Mark did an awesome job fixing the mortar joints on the front and sides of my house. He also communicated very well with me.

Mark is great to work with. He genuinely wants to make the customer happy and he checks in during the job to make sure he is exceeding expectations. Mark was puctual ad professional and began and finished the work exactly as he described! I would hire Mark again with no hesitation.

Mark is great. He is the nicest person. Answered my call right away and said he would swing by in the next few days and look at my porch and call me with an estimate. He called a few days later with his assessment and said it would probably be 2 weeks before he could get to it. I was delighted to come home a week later to see construction tape crossing my porch and a beautiful repair of this older brick porch. Mark left me a voice mail and told me he would be back in the morning a final application and explained how to take care of the bricks going forward and even referred me to a website for ice melting mats so I didn't ruin the mortar with any more salt. Mark is fantastic. He is very pleasant and friendly and super easy to work with - I highly recommend him.

Mark dug out the existing cement grout around the pavers, ran the line and then regrouted the pavers.

It went very well, he was on time and did a efficient job. He was a gentleman and we were very pleased.We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him.

He did an excellent job. It is just beautiful. Everyone comments on how nice it is. He is very gifted at what he does.

This was the third time we've used Mark for similar jobs. Very reachable by phone - pleasant and responsive. Work was of high quality and he was very punctual. Cleaned up everything nicely. Price was great. Would recommend him highly.

All went smoothly. We've worked with Mark a little in the past. This time was no different. We've found him to be reasonably responsive. The longest I think I've ever had to wait for a call back was a day and a half. (Business days.) He took a look at our situation. Gave me his professional opinion. It was pretty similar to another contractor I had spoken to. He's more of a one man show than the other contractor I contacted. He doesn't have a website, or an assistant, etc. But he was professional, expedient, and reasonably priced for the job he quoted.

Mark was very prompt in his response and honest regarding how the weather may prevent the job from being completed before the spring. I explained that our home is going on the MLS in February and, ideally, I would like the crack to be fixed before it goes on the market. He said he would swing by to look when he had a chance but made no promises. I heard from him about a week later saying that since the job was so small he would be able to get to it the following week. The day of the job he arrived early as there was rain in the forecast for the afternoon. He was very polite and pleasant. I did not get any other quotes but $50 would have been very hard to beat!! He cannot do large jobs but I highly recommend him if you have a small to medium job.

It went well. Mark was responsive in returning my initial call. He came out within a couple of days, looked at the situation, and provided the quote. He said he was working about 2 weeks out. At that time he called at the beginning of the week and offered options for which day he could do this all day job. He showed up on the stated day and worked until finished. Very professional and answered all questions.

Mark is a very nice guy. He is a one-man operation so you wouldn?t want to use him for any large jobs but for some general maintenance he is fine.

He came out and he told me that my job would be too dusty and too dirty. He works with brick and does masonry. I would never recommend him to anyone, he was a waste of my time. I found it really disgusting for a man who lays brick to say too dusty and dirty. We didn't even get to price. He just thought it was too dirty.

Mark is always a pleasure to work with. He was able to do a thorough assessment, answer all my questions and do the work promptly. I was very happy with the results

He gave a prompt quote and completed the work on a tight timeline (we were preparing to sell our house). He found additional issues and gave us a quote on the cost of that repair, but did not pressure us into additional work. We will call Mark again to do work on the chimney of our new house.

Mark, did the job for 1/2 the price of 4 other people I contacted through Angies list. From the first contact on the phone, to the last time he was at my house, Mark was completely professional and competent. Our slab turned out great and he had it done in just about an hour (was quoted 2) I would( and already have) recommend him to anyone who wants a small job done well.

Mark came on time and performed the work quickly, as he had explained at the time of his estimate.

Called next day, good advice and not soliciting job that he felt could be done better another way.

Mark was wonderful and did an amazing job.

It went awesome. Mark was very personable and showed up on time. He came in, took a look at what needed to be done, gave me a price and then got to work. He asked me to come over and check out what he had done a couple times to get my input which was appreciated. If I ever need and masonry work done in the future I will not hesitate to call Mark.

He was prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. He did a good job.

Contacted provider. Regarding some fireplace and chimney work. Doesn't do inside work. There was some concern about the height of the project and if a ladder was required. Gave provider my address and he does not work this area. This info should be given so consumers know who to contact. Provider advertised work that he said he couldn't complete. He also did not indicate that he only worked in certain areas of the city. When I gave my address, he said he didn't work in the area. This was not true,as he has completed jobs and received reviews in neighborhoods near my home. This was not a good experience for me.

Price was very fair and quality was excellent.

I still need to put more of the gray finishing sand in the cracks between the pavers, but overall Mark did a nice job for a good price.

I first contact Mark back in Aug to get an estimate for sealing my garage. At this time, I was shopping around as well as contemplating doing the job myself. Mark was very personable. Without having come to take a look at my garage, I was able to give him a few details about my standard 2 car garage, and he recommended that I power-wash first (I have a new construction home) prior to sealing. I also informed him that I may be interested in having my porch and sidewalk sealed, and Mark let me know that in order to give me a fair estimate, he'd need to come out to see it first. Having a pretty busy work schedule, I didn't get back to Mark until the end of October. At the 11th hour prior to winter settling in, I figured my chances were slim to none to get the job done. I gave Mark a call and with a few refresher questions he remembered me from several months before. I asked if he would be able to squeeze me in prior to it getting to cold, to which he said he'd give me a call in a week to set up time to meet. Less than a week later, Mark came out and took a look at my front porch and sidewalk. I wasn't home that day, and he was cognizant enough to give me a call with the estimate price later on in the day as he remembered that I had an important presentation to do at work that day. After agreeing on a price, day and time, Mark arrived promptly on the day agreed upon, and even helped me move items out of my garage onto the driveway. He was quick and efficient, explained what he was doing and why, and even detailed the products he used and why they were the best of the best. Mark was really a pleasure to work with, and I'd be sure to recommend him to anyone needing similar services.
