Description of Work: Our mini-Dachschund had a skunk encounter under our deck. Chris at CREATURE CATCHERS came out and set up 2 traps. He caught (and released at our request) racoons on 2 occasions. Traps remained for 7 days, but the skunk has apparently vacated the property. Yay! Chris is very knowledgeable, and responded quickly to every call.

Description of Work: I had a strange odor in my home (it had been closed for about two weeks)and it smelled like critter urine. This was Christmas eve; I talked with two other providers of critter service and neither was able to come until after the holidays. However, one of the services suggested that I call Chris since he lives nearby. While his charge was higher than the other two, he was able to come to my home about two hours after I called. He was thorough, sniffing in several places to see if he could identify the odor. I showed him the area where the smell was the strongest and he checked the nearby crawl space. No critter were found. However, Chris identified the source of the odor as a wet piece of particle board that was swollen, discolored emitting a smell from the substance used to glue the particles together. It appeared that this small piece of trim had gotten wet from the underside (maybe a crack in the slab?. Chris was very helpful and, while he didn't find any creatures, he did make some suggestions about how to mitigate the odor and how to proceed with the repair. He also went outside and checked all the downspouts to make sure they were functioning. Chris evidently has a background in construction so his advice was most welcome.
