The two men from 1-800-GOT-JUNK arrived a little early. They were very courteous and professional and worked with me to move the things from the rooms were ready to go while I worked to sort things from the two rooms that I hadn't finished yet. The only thing I would quibble about is that I thought I had told them to remove a microwave stand and they didn't move it. When they called to follow up, I mentioned this and they said that I hadn't asked to do this. Because I couldn't prove this, there wasn't anything I could do about it and I let it go. The price I entered above was after the $100 Angie's List discount I received ($400 for $500 of service).

They gave me a two hour window when I scheduled appointment. They called the morning of the appointment to let me know I was the first customer and they would be at the house by 9:00am. They showed up at 8:40am. Bernard and James walked me through the process, gave me an estimate and told me it would take 30 minutes. They cleaned everything up in 25 minutes. Overall they were very professional, easy to work with and very prompt.

Great service. I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. A rep called the morning of the appointment to confirm. 2 men arrived on time and reviewed the process and pricing prior to beginning. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up debris. Both were polite and professional.

These guys were very nice. The people on the phone, Joe and Charles were very nice and very professional. The guys who came to do the hauling were wonderful. The problem is with the coupon here on AngiesList. It is very misleading. I had a few items for which the $50 already paid should have been enough. I purchased $100 worth of hauling for $50, or so I believed.... Though I had already paid $50 for $100 worth of hauling and had relatively little to take away, I was going to be stuck with paying another $78 dollars so $128 total. It turns out that this 1 800 GOT JUNK starts their fees at $128 no matter what. This coupon description needs to be made more clear.

It was great. They didn't mind walking up and down the basement stairs with items that were too big for me to carry. All I had to do was tell them what to take. They told me about their warehouse where they sort all the items for donations or recycling which made me feel better since it wasn't all being thrown in the land fill. They actually siad that at the end of the week, very little of the total they collect is considered actual trash. The guys were hard working and cheerful and I will definitely use them again. I also like this company because they have been sponsors of a local benefit car show that I worked with for many years, esp. in the kid's area.

The Scheduler had never heard of the Angie's List Big Deal I had purchased, and said they'd give me an estimate on site that I'd have to approve. When they got there they did honor the Big Deal, but decided the item should cost more than the it would cover, so I had to pay more above and beyond what the BD cost. Other than that, no problems.

They were very timely and professional.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end. I'm an out-of-town owner and it made my life much easier dealing with the entire group at this company. They were quick to respond, provide a quote and complete the work. Even being in a different time zone they were not only respectful of my time but also made calls much after hours to keep me up-to-date on their progress. Great service.

Went well. Moved heavy items from my basement and some material from outside

I had the privilege of having 1-800- JUNK remove some unwanted items from my garage. This included some large items that were heavy. Since this was the first time I used their services, I made a phone call to schedule and appointment. The person I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and pleasant. She got all the necessary information from me such as name, address, and phone number. She then went on to obtain the types of items that they would be removing. She gave me the costs for their service from the lowest to the highest. When asked about how payment was preferred, she was very thorough. I was given a variety of choices of times for pick up with one being the day I called. I received a follow up call later that day to confirm pick up date and time. I was also given the chance to ask any questions regarding the service. The price quotes were given to me again. The gentlemen arrived promptly for the appointment I had scheduled. Both introduced themselves to me. I then showed them what items I wanted them to remove. They were amazing. They efficiently removed the items. They were very pleasant and we conversed throughout the process. When they finished, they even swept my garage! A bonus of using 1-800 - JUNK is that the "junk" is sorted according to what will be done with it once it is taken back to the company. Some will be recycled; some donated; etc. This is so much better than simply dumping it all in a land fill. I absolutely will use this company's services again. The entire experience was professional, respectful, and efficient. The men who removed the items were pleasant and personable. They accomplished the job in about 30 minutes which was far less than I expected. They went over and above anything I expected. I found their price to be in line or under the prices charged for similar service from other companies. It was an overall exceptional experience. I have already told several friends what a great job they did and told them if they needed this type of service, this was the company to use.

I didn't have the highest of expectations in terms of price or availability when I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK on a Friday afternoon. To my surprise, they came out the same day, took everything away for a very reasonable price, and did so beyond my expectations. The gentlemen who did the work were professional and courteous. I would recommend this provider and will use them again in the future should I have a need to do so.

1-800-Got-Junk was great. They were able to schedule me right away and came to my home when they said they would be there. The guys that came were very professional. I have a small house built in 1928 and they managed to get a very heavy sofa down steep narrow stairs with no damage to the woodwork. I did feelthey were a little expensive. If memory serves they charge by the volume/bulk of item Would definitely use them again!

I called on a Fri. and was told they could come over on a Sat. Unbelievable! It wasn't convenient for me, so I scheduled for Mon. bt. 9-11. At 9 I had a call that they were on their way, arrived soon thereafter. Two courteous haulers. Will refer them and definitely use them again.

It was fine and I had no problems. They sent 2 people out to do the job. The scheduling was fine.

Service through 1-800-GOT-JUNK could not have gone any smoother. I had been slowly building up a pile of unwanted items in the middle of our garage. With Winter approaching it was time to get the garage cleaned out. I called and spoke with the owner (they are franchises) in Columbus, Ohio and he explained their services and said he could have someone stop by for an estimate or I could email his Crew Lead a photo. It sounded good so I purchased an Angie's Deal for $75.00 and sent in my photos. He said that my pile was well under the $75.00 limit and we set an appointment for pickup. I told my wife that if we had a few more things to add to the pile we still have room. When the truck arrived my wife must have added a lot more stuff because the driver was thinking he couldn't take everything for $75.00. The Crew Lead said that he would take the entire amount for $75.00 so he and the driver loaded everything and we couldn't be happier!

This is my third time using their service. The other two times were much larger jobs. This time, I simply had a few items left to take away. Yesterday, I carried everything out to the garage, and decided to call 1-800-GOT-JUNK out today, just a day later. They had plenty of availability. I received a confirmation call back yesterday. This morning, about two hours early, they called to see if they could come by early. I had just arrived back home, so I was happy to say yes! They arrived and were courteous, friendly, and extremely efficient. Just like the other two times. I paid the minimum charge of $128, and they were gone in less than 5 minutes. No muss, no fuss. Kudos to Joe, Charles (Office Manager), and the delivery drivers. Once again, they have shown that they are a first class, customer service first, type of operation. I'm now out of all stuff to haul away, but I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great work guys!
