Description of Work: My refridgerator was not cooling. The owner diagnosed the problem and then ran to the supply house for the part. Returned within an hour or two and replaced the broken part. It has worked great since then and I've referred others to this company. He seemed like a fair and honest guy. I was happy with the service.

Description of Work: Our fridge stopped cooling and I determined the compressor was not running. Called The Appliance Guy on a Saturday morning and he said he would look at it today and likely get it fixed same day. He contacted me after he was wrapping up on another customer and informed me of his arrival; upon arrival he went straight to work and determined the failure - a relay switch - informed me the cost and replaced...fridge was back up and running fine. 100% professional work.

Description of Work: Andrew was responsive to my call. He found time for me. He personalizes his service (knows his customer). He goes beyond what is asked. When he fixed my stove, he explained what was wrong and what he was doing. Recently I needed work on a washer. He did background research on parts and previous work on the machine, He helped me make a decision about next steps, and even offered emergency service if I needed it. I highly recommend Appliance Guy.

Description of Work: Our oven door hinges and latch broke and our appliance warranty company sent Andrew (The Appliance Guy) to perform the repair service. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional and efficient. We only paid the service visit fee required by our warranty plus the dollar amount that was over our maximum payment limit for the claim, however, based on past experience the rate charge for the total repair was very fair and competitive. Andrew clearly knew how to diagnose and subsequently repair the problems we had. He explained everything that was wrong and showed me how it was being fixed. He was friendly without being overly chatty. He took time to be sure that I understood the situation and what was being done to complete the repair. This was by far the best appliance repair experience I have ever had. It is hard to put into words how impressed I was with my experience with this repair service. I have had experiences in the past with condescending repairmen. I have also had repairmen who have no idea what the problem is yet try to fix it anyway charging me for service which doesn't correct the problem. Not so with Andrew! He is clearly experienced in appliance service and repair and makes the event as quick and painless as possible.
