He showed me the hidden clip feature that held me back and also showed me the source of the problem. He reinstalled my old hose and wrote a note on the reeipt indicating the new hose had a faulty flood safe valve. One other courtesy, he was able to provide same day service by pushing me in between appointments.

This is the third time that The Appliance Guy has repaired a major appliance for us. He gave us an accurate estimate on the phone, showed up promptly, did meticulous work, and charged a reasonable amount. It's wonderful to have found a reliable person who can fix our appliances since they all seem to be breaking down at about the same time! We would highly recommend The Appliance Guy to anyone.

Ice was building up in the refrigerator freezer bottom tray, then water would overflow onto the floor. Quickly diagnosed problem over the phone as a clogged drain. Offered to tell me how to fix it myself. I left a message on Monday, Andrew called back Tuesday and did the repair Wednesday. Defrosted the coils from inside the freezer, then from the back of the refrigerator he removed, cleaned and lubed the "duck bill" drain that was clogged. Andrew is a one-man shop (which I prefer to do business with) and is extremely professional, courteous and responsive. I will use again and would highly recommend. $180 (+ tax) seemed a bit much for a 40 minute job, but I'm sure anyone else would have charged the same (or more).

Andrew was very personable and helpful. His business involves him hiring out his appliance expertise to make a living, but he was happy to give me a tip that fixed our dishwasher at no charge. Very nice, and much appreciated. Needless to say, if we have other appliance issues, we will be calling Andrew! We have no reservations in recommending him for appliance repair and he will be first on our list in the future.

After several performance checks, Andrew deduced the oven required a new control board. He also confirmed this with the manufacturer. He ordered the part and returned promptly for installation. The Appliance Guy is one of a handful of providers who work on Fisher-Pykel, my brand of washer. Unfortunately, he was unable to make the repairs needed, and recommended a new washer. He was able to suggest a brand and to steer me in the right direction for my needs. As an LMT, I do 10 loads of wash per week just for my business. The next day, unable to find the washer with the features he suggested, I actually called Andrew from the appliance store; he was quite helpful, again.

He didn't even charge me anything since he couldn't repair it. The service was quick and they have cheap prices. They were very honest. I would definitely use them again.

He diagnosed the problem over the phone. After giving us a couple of options, he ordered a replacement part and made an appointment to do the repair. When the part was not delivered on time due to a problem with the supplier, Andrew called us in advance to let us know what the next steps would be. As it turned out, he was able to do the repair just a few hours later than originally scheduled. His work was very professional and complete. He was courteous and informative. This is the second time that we've used The Appliance Guy. The other repair was to replace a faulty controller board in our dishwasher. I am highly pleased with this company and would recommend it to others without any reservations.

Andrew was very professional! After installing new parts, the ice maker still was not functioning. Andrew continued working until he was able to diagnose the problem and was able to get the ice maker working again. He even discovered that some of the parts were under warranty and would not cost us anything to replace.

Been having the kitchen redone and the dishwasher had been installed a few days. Even though, we'd used it a couple of times since the install, it stopped draining properly. Andrew, showed up and fixed it in minutes. Turns out, when our disposal was originally installed, the plumber attached the dishwasher drain to a pipe. With the new kitchen work of new countertop and sink, they connected the dishwasher drain directly to the disposal without noticing that the knockout plug on the disposal had never been removed. Therefore, after a couple of cycles, it stopped draining. Andrew is a genius (and a good comedian).

I was referred to Andrew by another company (though I checked his Angie's List rating before calling). He was able to get to my house within 30 minutes of my first call. He quickly diagnosed the problem, confirming what I thought was wrong with the fridge. Before giving me a quote, he verified that he had the correct board on his truck (he did), checked his smart phone to see if there was a better deal for the part locally (there was) and used that price to complete the estimate. Thirty minutes later, all was finished. He was very professional and fair. I would use his services again and will recommend him to my friends.

He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. Ordered the parts and came back the following day. Went above and beyond to clean lint out of the dryer and from behind the dryer. I could tell from meeting Andrew that he takes pride in his work.

Andrew gave a 30 minute courtesy call and arrived right on time. He stopped at the front door and put booties on over his shoes. I've had to clean up after repairmen in the past so I appreciated that extra thoughtful step. I explained the issue with our fridge to him (the ice-make works fine but the dispenser won't dispense) and he was able to diagnose the problem in less than 10 minutes. He confirmed our suspicion that it was the motor in the ice-dispenser that had gone bad. He told me it is a very easy part to replace and was honest enough to say that if my husband or I was even the least bit handy, we should be able to fix it ourselves without any issues. We have lived without the dispenser working for a couple years but since we are in contract to sell our house we are trying to remedy this situation for the least amount of money possible. He even looked up the part on-line and found the best price for us! He left his card and told us to call him if we have any trouble with replacing the motor. On top of his honesty and professionalism, he was very personable and polite. He even talked about Cars with my toddler. We will definitely call him again if any issues come up in the future!

Overall I was impressed at the expert advice.

ONE WORD: WOW!!!!! On the night of 4/10, I reached into my fridge and realized that nothing was cool. I put a thermometer in there and saw that the temp was 60 degrees! I emailed Andrew the Appliance Guy at 11:13 PM, he called at 7:20 AM, diagnosed the problem and gave me a high/low estimate, arrived at 12PM and all was fixed within 30-45 minutes. So, my huge problem was fixed within 5 business hours. I do my best to support local, non "big box" contractors. Let me tell you, Andrew was not only responsive, communicative, honest and reasonably priced, he is simply just an all around good guy. As a single female, I felt comfortable having him in my home. He was personable and we even had a nice conversation while he was fixing the fridge. I can't endorse Andrew the Appliance Guy enough. Call him. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful - he was great and very honest and helpful. Our refridgerator was making a loud noise for the past year and the ice machine was not working and it has shut off a couple times. He helped make the noise stop and advised us what is could be and options on how to fix it and if they did not work, it was the motherboard. You could try and fix it, but it's not guaranteed it will work. He gave us ideas on how to replace it, at the best cost and also places to get a fridge for cheaper and what name brands he would suggest, and what kind, based on his experience

We have used The Applicance Guy twice now. Each time has been stellar! Andrew was able to schedule our appointment in a quick timeframe. He showed up on time, was friendly, offered insight as to what may have happened and promply fixed the appliances. This company will be our "go-to" every time now!

My dishwasher died this morning and by 1:30 I had it repaired. Between the repair company who determined it was still under warranty, and Lowes who figured out when I bought it, I am a very satisfied customer. The Appliance guy fixed the pump (had the part on hand) and was on his way. I will use him again!

I emailed Andrew on Sunday about our Bosch dishwasher. He called Monday morning and came out Tuesday morning. He replaced the pump and cleaned out pieces of glass that had been binding the drain pump impeller. He then instructed my husband as to how to prevent this from happening again. He was prompt and professional. The part is expensive but his charge was certainly within the range of expectations.

Andrew is great! My dryer stopped producing heat and I tried finding the problem myself but couldn't. After becoming frustrated, I called Andrew asking him to come out and take a look at it. Before doing so, he offered a couple of other solutions for me to look at in order to try and save me money for having him come out. After I still could not locate the problem, he offered to come out the next day. He diagnosed the problem, was able to get the part ordered, and was back out 48 hours later to install the new part. He was a very honest guy who takes great pride in his work.

Andrew was wonderful to work with. I live in a rather rural area and it can be difficult to get service companies to come to my place. Andrew was willing to come out and had no trouble getting here. He's prompt, knows his business and is polite and pleasant. He took the time to answer questions. He fixed my washing machine in one visit which was terrific. Great service, great company. I highly recommend him.

Andrew was able to come the same morning I called and quickly fix the problem. He was incredibly professional and polite. I also felt his prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Andrew and will definitely call him again if we need anything.
