Description of Work: We had one room without power. Technician discovered within 10 minutes, that all outlets in room were controlled by the wall switch (which had been turned off). |He did not charge us. We will certainly use The Appliance Guy again!

Description of Work: Dryer heating element failed. Jim was great. He repaired our dryer within an hour. Will definitely use his service again with any of my appliances.

Description of Work: The tech checked out our Subzero fridge (no work needed) and fixed our Viking range, which was preheating very slowly. The high cost was due mostly to the expensive parts--two igniters at $150 a piece. | |I initially thought the $100 service call was a little steep, but it was worth it. This company is approved by both Subzero and Viking, and the tech was very knowledgeable about the products. I will certainly use them again if necessary. I'd much rather pay for expert maintenance than have to replace the appliances!

Description of Work: Replaced transmission for one year old Maytag hi-efficiency washing machine.

Description of Work: Andy repaired our 14-year-old washer by replacing just the parts that needed to be replaced. We decided to keep the old machine because "they don't make 'em like they used to." He helped us make a good decision & did the work efficiently and professionally.

Description of Work: Checked what I thought was a leak in the water line going to a refrigerator. Professional from start to finish. No leak and charged only the minimal service charge.

Description of Work: The Appliance Guy showed up the same day I called and very quickly found the problem which was a crack in my washing machine tub. He told me my washer had been discontinued and advised me against trying to fix it. Instead, he advised me on the best washers for replacement and even told me where to find the best prices for the washer. I will use him again and again without a doubt. The Appliance guy has integrity, knowledge and knows how to fix appliances. It doesn't get much better than that.

Description of Work: Replacement of a garbage disposal. He did a fine job, very personable and quick.

Description of Work: He fixed a plugged drain on our dishwasher and installed a new ice maker in the freezer. I was impressed with his professionalism. He did more than was required to make sure everything worked well.

Description of Work: My washing machine quit spinning. I called The Appliance Guy and he came the next day. He looked at the machine and said I should buy a new one because it would cost too much to repair. Then he did not charge me even a service call. I think that goes above and beyond. I am on social security and really did not have the money for a repair at that time.

Description of Work: I called to get help with a problem with my Bosch washer. After explaining the problem, the repairman told that a new computer card was needed. He called the company, got a price and called me back. The price was to high to invest in a ten year old washer, so I decided to get a new washer. I was impressed with the the information I received as well with how it was given I was sad loosing a good washer, but very pleased with the way I was treated.
