It went very good. They seem to be a really good organization. They've been around for awhile. The conductor of the business is very personable and extremely easy to talk to.

We've been with Smith's Lawn Services for four years now. They do a great job, are very knowledgeable (not some high school kid), and are very responsive. Our lawn looks great and we've recommended them to a number of our neighbors. Absolutely top notch.

Everything has been fine. They come on a schedule, and our lawn looks good.

We found them on the list. We contacted them and quickly got a follow up call and quote. The owner spent time with us going over the lawn and explained exactly what he would do to fix things. He seems to have a passion for his job. He was very easy to deal with. I think things are looking well and we will be working with him in the spring.

We used Smith s Lawn Services for the last three years. The service provided was mediocre at best. Even after three years, our lawn still suffers with weeds, even though we have spent many, many hours in our yard trying to eliminate these weeds. We canceled our service recently because Smith s has decided to charge customers a fuel surcharge. As the rest of us are striving to make ends meet, Smith s is ensuring its profit margin by requiring customers to pay for their gasoline. Bills now reflect a gasoline charge. I can barely put gas in my own vehicle, and Smith s wants me to buy their gas too! Last fall I called Smith s and requested aeration. I was told by Mrs. Smith that they were very busy, but that she would work me into the schedule. Little did I know that I wouldn t be worked into the schedule until spring. Ridiculous! As a side note, a friend told me that her lawn company (a very large company) guarantees weed control. She paid a one-time fee of $45 and received treatments all summer at no additional cost because the weed situation had not been resolved. This large company guarantees results, and her lawn now looks great. Smith s charged me repeatedly when they were not able to resolve my issue. I m switching to a larger, more-established company.

They come about every 2 months and fertilize our lawn. They do a really nice job of keeping the weeds out. They are a very honest and reliable company. We have used other companies in the past and they don't do the quality of work that Smith's does.

The owner was very easy to talk to and very helpful. He would help answer all of my questions and gave me referrals to other services. He seemed to be the most knowledgeable. He gave me an ample amount of time to ask questions.

This is my first year with this company and I am very pleased with the them so far. I feel they really seem to care about your yard. Unfortunately, they don't have a senior discount, but they do give you a discount for paying for the whole year in full, which helps.

The lawn looks great. When we first started it was brown even with watering and our neighbors recommended Smith's to fix the problem. That was 3 years ago and we have continued to rehire him every year.

They dod what they say they're going to do. They show up when they say they will. They do a fine job. The lawn looks good and they seem to be doing a good job.

Summer is tough on any yard but now it looks fine.

We have a yearly service that's around four hundred dollars a year. They are very personable. Mr. Smith will actually come out and work with you and talk to you. He will show you what he is doing.

Was not happy with the service we received overall. I called to cancel the remainder of our services for the year, and will not continue.

It was very good service. He was very helpful. I had neglected my lawn for a while and he was very good at helping me with all of the issues. I was very pleased with the work they did. It was timely, very helpful, and very professionally done. I look forward to working with them in the future.

On the first visit the owner even came out and talked with me about what I need to change about my lawn care and what he was going to do. He talked about how he was going to put one kind of seed where it is shady and a different where it is sunny and that he would fertilize the two parts of my lawn differently based on their needs. He was very helpful and very thorough.

I found this business on Angie's List and contacted them after moving here in 05 and hiring another lawn care company that failed to make improvements in my lawn that I expected over a whole season. Since taking over my lawn care, it has gone from a 3 on a scale of 1-10 to a 9. I've been very pleased with their service and would recommend them to others. Other people who stop by my home remark "your lawn sure looks good!" Different treatments cost different amounts. It is impossible to list a specific price due to that variation. It is possible to pay by the season but I have paid by the treatment so far.

I had phoned several companies and requested estimates and they were the first ones to actually come out and give us an estimate. Very pleased that they did not use alot of harmful chemicals while treating the lawn. They hand spray the individual weeds instead of putting it all over the lawn which is better for the environment. The fertilizer is natural based so that made me very happy. We were not at home but they promptly called me to see if I had any questions pertaining to the estimate that they had left at the door. We had used a natural fertilization company to care for our lawn in the past (which did not include taking care of trees and shrubs) and felt that Smith's was a happy compromise.

Smith's Lawn Services has treated my lawn for the last two years, this April will start the third year. I wanted to report that after two years my lawn looks wonderful; thick, lush, very green, and virtually weed free. When my home was built 4 years ago, the grass the builders put down was terrible. I tried to treat it myself for one year, with no success. I went on Angie's List and found Mr. Smith. He not only treats your lawn but educates clients on proper care and challenges to maintaining a healthy lawn. His prices are a little higher than some of the advertised large companies, but the personal service, care and educational information make him more than worth it. I highly recommend Smith's Lawn Services.

They apply four times a year. We are going to have them do some other things for us. We have had other companies do the same thing and have never had this much luck. They are very knowledgeable and are fairly priced.

He implied that I was looking for an "organic program". I was not. That was HIS reaction to my stating that I did not want herbicide. His claims that his products are "approved by the EPA" are meaningless. The EPA ONLY TESTS 10% of ALL chemicals. All the rest are APPROVED WITHOUT TESTING! As a father of three, I should have the right to ask that these dangerous chemicals not get used. He, again, went into a rant about how his business would suffer due to all of my neighbors talking about my lawn if I did not agree to EVERYTHING he said. This man was NOT polite and cordial, he was belligerent because I dared to question the need for herbicide. If you have the audacity to ask that ANYTHING be changed, expect him to go off about how his business will be destroyed due to you, how YOU need an "organic program" and how your lawn will be destroyed in two years by the organic program and you will call him to rescue your lawn from "all the weeds" that resulted from you not agreeing with him.

They do an excellent job. They are very responsive and our lawn looks the best it has ever looked. I gets compliments all the time. I would refer my friends to them.

I live in a new subdivision, and my "lawn" was mostly weeds and rocks. Alan evaluated the lawn, gave me some work to do (dig up rocks, stop mowing so short, watering instructions), and started sprinkling his "magic stuff" on the yard. Our yard was a mess, and I wasn't expecting miracles, but 6 months into the treatment we have a real yard! He really knows his stuff, and his prices are great compared to the larger companies.

They were able to also accommodate us with a call a day or two ahead so that we could unlock our gate access for them as well as arrange for our dog to be out of the yard. As for the lawn, they did what they said they would with spot spraying for weeds and lawn fertilization. They would leave a pamphlet about things to do to keep up the lawn and also leave a bill when the job was done for the day.

He is very knowledgeable and has provided us with advice for a healthier lawn, along with the treatment he regularly provides. Would highly recommend Smiths for lawn care.

I called him and he was here pronto. I have the best looking yard around. I just think he does a phenomenal job with lawn care. Cost was to take care of the beetles.
