All services so far on schedule. Grass and trees look good. Haven't had a problem with ants like last year when we didn't have a service.

I've been using them for 7-8 years. They have been happy ever since. They are good.

We didn't like previous lawn service using too much product. We started using them 7 or 8 years ago and have been happy since. They are great.

We have been using them for more than 5 years and they do a great job. Always very professional and proactive. Never any hard sales practices like the prior company that we used. We are happy with the way our lawn and landscaping look

They have made my lawn look like sod in 2 short years. A friend visiting from out of state could not believe I had not had sod laid. Two of my neighbors have also started using them!

They come out when they are suppose to and they are good. We've used them for 10 or more years.

I just signed up for the 4th year of service. I have found them to be professional and effective. The price is reasonable for the level of service provided.

We have had Smith's for years... They always review any issues with the lawn... They do a wonderful job!!! I think the whole season is a little more than this -- but well worth it. They are great!

We have had an annual contract with Alan Smith for many years. He and his staff continue to do an excellent job taking care of lawn fertilization/weed control and tree fertilization. We are very pleased and continue to be so. When we have questions about any issues regarding our lawn or trees we ask Alan and he always provides us with satisfactory answers/advice. We have recommended him to other family members/friends and will continue to do so.

Prepaid service for the season consisting of seven treatments. Through-out the season my applications were always at the tail-end of the application timeframe window. Asked for weed maintenance in between treatments two times during the season because the weeds seemed to be worsening after the application. Each time they would push the weed treatment into the regular application time thus never coming out for maintenance. I was told these must be and quot;new weedsand quot; therefore they are not responsible. In their sales letter and quot; #4 WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE POLICY? We will retreat weeds at no additional charge. However, if you see problems on your lawn or trees and shrubs between applications we can come back out for a minimum service charge of $45.00.and quot; ??? What does this mean ??? They wanted to charge me $50.00 for service to kill the weeds that existed during the last application that did not die. Of course they blame this on the customer for not watering and mowing too low. I have been using lawns services for 20 years, I have inground sprinklers and mower is always set 4.0and quot;. Owner had no interest in even discussing with me or stopping in to see what my concern was about. I asked for service to be cancelled after my fifth application and my remaining money to be refunded. They told me that I and quot; would get a refund at some pointand quot;. It has been two months and I have not received any refund. Lesson is to not pre-pay for services...

We have been using their services for more than 8 years. They have consistently done a great job for us. Allen normally does our work. Very knowledgable and professional. Definitely would recommend his company for lawn and tree care.

Prepaid for services and they are just not getting the job done. The scheduling states that we should have 4 more by the end of November but we have crab grass and weeds after 2 treatments.

We used Smith's Lawn Services from spring of 2008 to spring/summer of 2011. At first, they seemed to do a decent job, but as time went by, we had more and more crab grass and nut grass growing in our lawn. When we called in the spring of 2011 to check on our account because we hadn't received a new contract, they informed us that they didn't send a new contract yet because they and quot;forgotand quot; to do two of our fall treatments, so we had a credit. That was the last straw for us, since we realize that fall treatments are an important part of the lawn maintenance system, so we decided to let the contract run out. Unfortunately we didn't dig through our files to pull out our old contract and re-read it… they have a clause that states and quot;SERVICES CONTINUE UNLESS WE HEAR FROM YOU.and quot; When we received a bill for the additional lawn treatment and called to question the charges, , the person we spoke with took the conversation down a very adversarial path that was completely unnecessary. At first, they told us they would waive the charges, but then called back a week later to inform us that they changed their mind and would enforce payment of their bill. We have paid the bill in full - it was clearly stated in the contract that we needed to call them and we didn't, however we would NOT recommend them due to the unreliable way they handled our lawn treatments, the poor results in our lawn, and the very unprofessional attitude of their management. We waited some time to write this review because we wanted to let our frustrations subside a bit so that we could give a more level-headed review. The photo attached of our lawn was taken in May of 2011.

We have used several other service providers at our homes in other states including some of the big name national companies and we have never had as good of results as quickly as we have had from the treatments that Smith's has done. Even after the long dry summer our grass has greened up very nicely and filled in lots of bare spots after just two visits. We have already recommended them to friends.

So very happy with Smith's Lawncare. We have used several other companies in the past and were not as happy with them as we are with Smith's. I have and will continue to recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Whenever we have had an issue of concern with our yard or our trees they are very quick to respond and come out to either treat or tell us what the problem is.

They don't prune the trees. They are very honest. If something doesn't worry they will take into consideration the price of that treatment. We've used them for the past few years for the lawn care and they have been very good.

This was our first time using a lawn care service. It looked better than when I did it myself and we had much fewer weeds. I would say they performed as advertised. Pricing is average. I would recommend them if asked by a friend.

The lawn look a lot better. I won't know till spring if our many dandelions have been killed off, but I am optimistic because the lawn is so much more lush looking.

I think the price is about $125 for fertilizing trees till the next year. They've done a good job. Whenever I had called them, they responded and I've been very happy with them. My yard looks a lot better this year in comparison to the last. I will use their services again in the future.

We were really happy with Smiths. We're no longer in Delaware county so we've had to hire someone else but if ever back in Delaware we would definitely go back with Smiths.

We have a yearly contract with them and they come 5 or 6 times a year. They leave an invoice on the door after they do the service. They could do a better job with spot weed control. We would recommend them to others. Their prices are average.

In 2011 we began to be called very soon after receiving a bill, asking us to pay it because it was past due, even though the notices did not indicate tardiness penalities until 45 days had passed. We have never paid a bill more than 30 days after receiving it. In other words, we always pay within 30 days. In June, 2011, we were first called to pay sooner than usual. We were called again in July, even though 45 days had not yet passed. We also noticed a $2 fuel charge of which we were not aware was being imposed. We called the firm and left a message on their voice mail asking for a return call. It took this business 2 days to return the call. The owner returned the call and was hostile from the beginning of the conversation. His hostility was addressed, yet it increased. This owner terminated the call by saying he no longer wanted to treat our lawn, then abruptly hung up. We felt this treatment was horribly unprofessional, not to mention inappropriate. We have been good customers of this firm for years and have referred this company to others, yet this is how we were treated.

I consider them to be number reason, and that is the reason I used him. I called for my service at the owner's house, and when I moved into the new house, they treated the lawn with the fertilizer. They got a good job done. They are expensive.

Excellent experiences over last several years

They come once every 6 weeks. They are very personable and customize the work on basis of your lawn. I like their services and will use the same in future.
