I had several other companies come to my home to discuss a new heat pump and air handler system. Most gave an estimate for "fancy" and very expensive systems. One asked what my budget was before we discussed my needs! I guess if I told him $20,000, he would have found a unit that cost that much whether I needed it or not! I didn't feel comfortable with any of them. I then called William Brockman and Sons. George Brockman came to my home, and showed me a couple options that would work for me. HE DID NOT TRY TO OVER-SELL A SYSTEM TO ME! He explained the efficiency of the different heat pumps and recommended one. I felt very comfortable with his recommendation, and signed a contract that day. While Mr. Brockman was here, I told him that my heat pump was no longer cooling my home, possibly due to low refrigerant. Since they were scheduling four weeks out for installation of the new unit, Mr. Brockman sent one of his servicemen to my home to fix the refrigerant problem. I was so grateful and impressed that he would care about the customer's comfort, even though they were so very, very busy with this heat wave. On installation day, the two gentlemen came exactly on time, and began removing the old units. They were very professional and polite. Shortly thereafter, their overseer came by to check on the replacement of the refrigerant lines, etc. George Brockman also came about midway to make sure that everything was okay. This actually was a great experience. Everything went perfectly. I can't say enough nice things about the whole process. I wish all repairs to my home would go so smoothly. GREAT! GREAT!

We have used them for 22 years. They do an excellent job and it is a great price. I would highly recommend them.

George Brockman was knowledgable, honest, and professional in his dealings with my family. His prices were competitive. He provided good detail on his quotes and was more than willing to discuss those details with me to make sure I am choosing the best system for our needs. George personnally came by during the installation to make sure everything was going well. The installation was smooth and without incident.

Although we did not hire them they were very professional and the person who did the estimate was very personable and took his time looking over the job and explaining what he planned to do. Since they always say to obtain 3 estimates, we only obtained one more which was much more affordable. However, I would consider them again for a bigger job.

Even though we had to reschedule several, I believe 4 times because of the weather, they were wonderful, they worked with us & rescheduled every time. We the weather broke, they came out was very professional, cleaned up after themselves & there were no surprise on the quote. Very, very please with their whole team. We are hoping to add central air in the next year & will use no other company.

They were very good. They came out in a reasonable amount of time considering we were in the middle of the heat wave. They spent probably four hours working on it to fix it. They were very diligent about it and did a good job.

I have a contract with them and they come out every six months. I get the same guy every time which makes me happy. They have a good reputation and they come right out to take care of it when you have a problem. They don’t treat you like you are dumb just because you are a woman. They clean up, they are very neat, and I have no concerns about them. If he gets tied up and will be late, he calls me to let me know. They make it so I can schedule my day around the appointment. I think their price is competitive and reasonable.

The easiest less stressful $18,000 I have ever spent. What a joy and we are totally satisfied. WOULD RECOMMEND

The owner, George Brockman, was very involved and could not have been more helpful, informative or pleasant to work with. At the last minute both my husband and I were called out of town for work so the installation had to be done without either of us present. George called at least twice a day with updates and progress reports and answered all questions thoroughly. He filled out the rebate forms and warranties for us and we basically had to do nothing! The price at the end was exactly what the proposal stated. It was a very positive experience. Update to the above: We have since also purchased a furnace and heat pump from George Brockman for our rental house and again, it was a very positive experience. All of George's crew are very professional and helpful. We had a very small issue with something and it was resolved before the end of the day. Great service!!

The flue pipe from our furnace/water heater to the chimney had become corroded due to water leakage down the flue from the roof and a piece of the pipe had fallen off. The repair crew arrived today at the scheduled time even though the roads were snowy, assessed the problem and wrote up an estimate for the repair. The estimate seemed reasonable and I gave them permission to do the job. I was anxious to get the repair done ASAP due to the health risks and they committed to get the repair parts and return this afternoon even though they had another call scheduled. They returned when they said they would and completed the repair satisfactorily in less than 2 hours. The final charge was the same as the estimate. The crew was very professional, explained everything, wore disposable shoe covers to avoid tracking snow in the house and cleaned up the mess after the job was done. I have never used Brockman before but would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Mr. Brockman was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and no nonsense. His price was very competitive as well, beating one competitor by $1000. I chose another company who did beat his price by just a couple hundred dollars, but they got my business because the manufacturer of their product was offering a 10 year warranty. I would definitely call Brockman in the future, or recommend him.

George Brockman arrived promptly to analyze the specifications of our house, to discuss what our experience had been with the current system, to talk about the pro's and con's of a possible conversion to natural gas, and to address any preferences and questions we had. His depth of knowledge of many details was quite impressive, and he used few if any common sales pitches. Within a few days he came back to present his proposal which included options. Price was very competitive with approximately 10 other proposals received. His professionalism was superior, and his offer to file for all rebates was unmatched by any competitor. My subsequent calls to him for further information were always answered professionally, and he always returned my messages very promptly. The instalation was performed soon after our agreement was reached, and it was completed quickly and without a hitch. About a week or two later the techs came back to recheck that everything was performing correctly. We have not called Brockman since the instalation -- all is well. The system's cooling is far superior to our old system -- extremely quiet, we notice no temperature swings or hot/cool spots in the house like the old unit. New upgraded thermostat is easy to operate. We rarely notice the unit is operating. Superior. We certainly hope that our experience with the unit's heating system this coming winter is excellent, too. Hats off to Wm. Brockman & Sons!
