Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

He did an excellent job. The clog was quickly fixed and the price was very reasonable. The technician was friendly and professional.

Matt was our service rep and he was extremely professional. He worked hard, cleaned up after himself and kept us informed of the progress. Matt's tech number is 923 and we can't say enough good thinks about the service he provided. We will use them again in the future. They were on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Off staff was professional and easy to work with. The fact that they send you an email confirmation is impressive. Can't say enough good things about our experience!

Larry was so awesome - he explained everything he was doing, he was super nice, very fast with his work and completely cleaned up everything before he left!

I called on a Saturday night for our septic tank to be pumped out. They told me that they would have someone contact us the next morning. They called around 8:30am and was there within an hour. The tech pumped it out and said we still had a clog from the main line to the tank and we needed to have a field tech come out. Told my husband that they could have someone come out the same day. So I called them again, they said they could have a tech there in 2 hrs. Brent H and his supervisor Dan came out, determined we did have a clog. My husband found them two buckets so when he opened the clean out he could catch the sewage. After 3 hours and a few problems he finally was able to get it unclogged. My complaint is that after a week, my husband went to check the basement for any leaks and found the two buckets were left in the basement. So we disposed of it ourselves, although that should've been his job

My basement floor drain was draining slowly and would back up on occasion. Jim cleaned the line and checked the overall flow. It was much better, but he suggested using a camera to check out the part of the line his snake couldn't reach. We're in an old wooded area and will take his advice. He was prompt, courteous and thorough.

The technician (Mike) showed up and went right to work. He inspected the drains, diagnosed the problem and had everything completed in about 1 hour. He even left my kitchen cleaner than when he found it. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone needing quick and efficient service. Great job!

I called the main office on a Friday afternoon, and was told a technician would call with a 30-minute arrival window. I was called within thirty minutes of original call that the technician was on the way. Jesse Gengler was right on time. He was very professional, provided all the details of the services to be performed and the associated costs, and got started right away. Within 45 minutes of his arrival, the clog in this old house's stationary tub was cleared and he had completely cleaned up his tools and left the job site the way he found it. He gave some advice on how to prevent the problem in the future, and reminded me of the Roto-Rooter guarantee if it would reoccur. Would definitely call Roto-rooter again, and will ask for Jesse!

There turn out to be two blockages in the main and basement drain, he might have been here hour and half tops. Need the drain clear because of upcoming rainstorms.

When they finished I had no toilet, no floor, wall removed, cabinet. Machines running 24 hours away .from Monday to Thursday. Pipe from house was checked !and they charged me $629.71. I still don't have bathroom fixed. This was all done to a 68years old senior who is fighting cancer.

I called for an appointment and got one for within 2 hours. The called 30 minutes before as promised. Came on time. Put shoe covers on. Did the job. Cleaned up and were gone in good time. They did try to sell me their Pipe Sheild for $52. Checked on the internet and decided not to buy it.

After 3 very long hours, roto rooter was able to clear out our drains. We had another guy come out the week before not just once but twice and make our situation worse. Even though Roto Rooter was the most expensive they will get it done the right way the frist time.

The work they did was fine but he brought in this huge equipment and he broke my wood in the front porch. There was a lot of water involved and he kind of left a mess with that machine.

Nothing really stands outs that I can think of, its been quite a while.

this company almost took 4000 dollars!!!! the other plumber said he sees this all the time beware of this company.

This process took SO LONG, but it was because it was a very complicated situation. Our house is 120 years old, so every problem is a little more complicated. The service tech was extremely professional, and took the time to do the job correctly.

Josh was very professional, very punctual and courteous. He cleaned the drain in our basement, before leaving he had us fill both sinks up in the kitchen to see if the shower would continue to fill with water. The standing water issue was no longer and issue. FOr good measure he had us run the test again and everything was perfect. We also received a 6 month warranty for the work. If I had to complain about anything it would be the price. But that is because, several months ago for another issue, I used Roto-Rooter but I purchased a $79 coupon for $250 worth of work. SUPER DEAL! Oh well for that deal, the price...not so good, but the work was EXCELLENT. Although the technician Josh did offer a $50 off if I purchased the drain maintenance Pipe Shield.... so we did that. The good part my sink and shower can both be used......at the SAME TIME!!

Cory (1652) was phenominal. He was efficient, and very knowledgeable. He was extremely conscientious, making sure all the pipes were cleaned. He explained to me what he was doing at all times. He discussed the issue appropriately and politely with my tenant. I would recommend him highly, and if I ever need jetting services again, I will request him.

Technician B. Hergis (3988) was both very professional and personable. He had the problem fixed within about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend him.

They dug up a small reasonable area in my front yard. Got the city approval and then quickly covered up the hole. I was very pleased with their work.

I called on Sunday to report that I had a clog and was given a window of 4 hours. They arrived in 30 minutes and it took about an hour for them to check things out and find the 2 clogs and get them cleared out. They were very responsive and fixed the problem. The repair man showed me the cleanout line so that I could see it was clogged. Explained to me what needed to be done and then gave me a price. Very professional,

It's not good, but there are some caveats to the reason why it's not good. I have a lot of rental property and i know to pretty much deal with Roto-Rooter. My experience in general is Roto-Rooter is over priced and you can't negotiate because each of the individual Roto-Rooter is independently it's own franchise. Anyways in this particular case I bought the Angie's List coupon to have a toilet looked at and they basically did work that was unauthorized and then tried to charge me for it.

Actual work should have cost 3200.00 thru the city of Dayton. Would not let me use the deal I purchased.

I wouldn't say the service was excellent, but it got the job done and it worked out. The tech had a bit of an issue installing the dishwasher and there's a minor nick on the door, but no other problems other than that and the dishwasher works.

At. First not so good but the they got the other equipment and did good

Very nice. Apparently we had a very difficult drain set-up... a "T" shaped piping going to two showers was clogged. He was committed to unclogging the drain...it took a while (2hrs or so), but he finally got it. He was obviously experienced.
