Description of Work: They had to remove the master bathroom toilet to clear the drains on that side of the house. They charged $400 to remove and reinstall the toilet and then had to return a week later because they didn't seal the toilet and it leaked.

Said we had serious problem (showed us on TV) and recommended installing a liner If we did not we could have a serious problem/collapse and cost more for excavating. Wanted $8,000 for liner. Pursuing other estimates.

Description of Work: Called Roto Rooter a week early to set an appointment to have outside specit replaced, it was set for Monday the 25 of July between 10 and 12. The tech arrived at 3:15- no flash light and told me it would be $400.00. I declined service, I looked up the cost of a specit on line and it sells for $13.00. We have had this work done before ( 2 years ) at or prior house and it cost $125.00. 3 plus hours late price way out of line, will never call for their service again.

Description of Work: We have an older house with miserable plumbing. The sink backs up into the laundry area and vice-versa. We have two bathrooms that are back to back. We called Roto Rooter to come out because my son took a shower and the bathtub in the other room filled up, ugh!! The guy came out and the rooter device went from one bath tub to the other and not down the main drain. He was very persistent and wanted to get this job done but the plumbing was not cooperating. He finally had to get into an obscure access panel and drilled a hole in the main pipe above the T-joint between the two bathtubs. I am grateful that he did not give up. He had seen this problem once before so I really appreciate the experience of this person. He patched up the hole and was on his way. It was kind of pricey but we use them about once a year because they are professional and always show up in the time window that they quote.

Description of Work: Called roto-router in the morning, by 4:00 pm brand new water heater installed and hot water! Understand the price is hideous, but all in all we were going on a trip the next day, and it was do or die at that point. Extra money took into account inspection by the city, which interestingly enough never happened. Very professional, and courteous. Have always called roto-router as they would answer the call quickly, and come on short notice.
