Description of Work: I experienced a partial electrical outage throughout my home. Thinking it was an internal problem, I called Mr. Electric. After describing my problem, Donna, at Mr. Electric suggested I call DP&L before scheduling an electrician. Following her suggestion, DP&L discovered a break in the electric cable between my house and the cable box out back. They ran a new line into my house, and the problem was fixed. Before I called Mr. Electric, I had called a different electrical company (not listed on Angie's List), who were going to schedule a service call at my expense. I

Description of Work: Mr. Electric did a fantastic job installing a new electrical outlet in my garage for a spare refrigerator. They gave me a fair quote on the spot and completed the work in under an hour. This included installing a new breaker, wire, outlet, and cleanup. brad the lead technician was knowledgable and professional. Total cost was around $380.

Description of Work: Punctual, knowledgeable and able to trouble-shoot. When I called, I identified that I might have a complicated problem and asked them to send out someone knowlegeable. They sent out their lead technician Max Knight . He quickly identified the first and even a second problem I asked him to resolve. Problem 1: outside radio-controlled bank of lights. Identified that there were 2 simultaneous problems...ants had gotten into the outside receiver switch and caused intermittent failure- lights would go on and off by themselves- until finally it caused the breaker to trip. The system was 20 + years old and yet he knew how it operated, what to test for and how to fix it. Problem 2: Bad switch on a three-way light in the kitchen. Punctuality and skills were appreciated. Would definitely recommend them.
