Kirkwood Heating and Cooling have done all my HVAC work for 26 years, they installed units in my house, office buildings and commercial buildings as well as my parent's and sister's houses. They do a Great job with installation and service work. I recommend them to everyone that ask me about needing a good dependable furnace man. They are very professional, courteous and prompt. Before I started using Kirkwood I always had problems with furnace men but after 26 years they have never given me anything to complain about.

The employees at Kirkwood Heating and Cooling last week and in all my past dealings have been very professional, courteous and very efficient. They are always respectful and when I ask questions Mr. Kirkwood always provides answers to me in a way that I can completely understand. When they serviced the unit last week I was impressed with the way they left the area of the furnace so clean. Even though they brought in all their tools you would never know they were there. The price has always been very competitive. Last fall I hired Mr Kirkwood and his company to put in central air conditioning at my parents house. My elder father was quite ill a the time and was having a hard time dealing with the heat. Mr. Kirkwood went to their house and determined what unit to install. Since it was at the end of day and installation would not be completed until the next day Mr Kirkwood provided and installed a window air conditioning unit to get him thru the night. I am very grateful that Mr. Kirkwood went over and above in helping my parents. I realize that not all service contractors would do that.

They were puctual and the entire project here at our office was completed in 3 days, which exceeded our expectations. When they installed the system in my home, Kirkwood heating had suggestions for changes that made the system operate better than what the blueprints called for. Very happy with them

My wife called Kirkwood Heating on Sunday morning around 6:30am due to the house being cold, and the heat not coming on. The service technician called her back by 6:50am and was at the house 7:30am. He was only here a short time with an explanation, and quick fix to the problem. Since we just bought the house 2 months ago we had him install a filter. The technician went above and beyond explaining the work performed to my wife, then he call to talk to me personally as I was out of town on business. The superior customer service given on a Sunday morning was outstanding. I have no problem calling them for future work, or referring them to family, and friends.

The work that was started was very shoddy and of poor quality. Furnace and heat pump does not work per manufacturer's design specs. This contractor damaged my house. They damaged my living room ceiling in more than one spot (drywall pulled down from rafters). Contractor also cut holes in wrong location and failed to make this right with us! I have ceiling damage and a duct still hanging six inches down from the ceiling! I still have attic insulation and drywall dust falling from the attic. Furnace and ductwork has several air leaks. Sealer or gasket material should have been used. The caulking missed areas that should have been sealed. See photo of string blowing on furnace and duct work. Furnace and heat pump has not worked to manufacturer's specs since installed was started 12-05-2011. Fan came on and no heat! Furnace picks a random heat temperature in middle of night and over heats house. See thermostat/control cable pictures. There are many other issues that I will soon add along with pictures showing the shoddy workmanship!! The job is still not complete and they put a lein on my property.!

The two men arrived with the furnace at the time specified; they were efficient and courteous. They made sure the rugs where they walked had protective covering, and gathered up all work-related debris when the job was finished. I do believe they left the area cleaner than it was when they came! The workings of the new furnace and thermostat were explained to our satisfaction.

They were alright. They were average. There was nothing spectacular about them. They did what I asked them to do. The guy seemed to be quite professional. I don't remember anything specifically. He came and did what was required. I didn't really have anything to compare their price to. I didn't take estimates from other people. I was having problems with the air-conditioning, so I simply called them and they came out. They were responsive. They showed in a timely manner. He was professional.

Kirkwook calls to let you know what their approximate time of arrival will be, are courteous and cleanup when they have completed the job. We have never had to call them back after a service call. I consider their prices to be very reasonable and competitive. I suggest calling in advance for scheduling a yearly inspection.

I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RELIABLE. I USE THEM ANY TIME I NEED SOMETHING DONE BECAUSE I AM SO HAPPY WITH THEM AND THEIR REASONABLE PRICES. WHEN THEY WERE HERE, THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A MESS.
