We've used Kirkwood many years for our heating and air conditioning needs. Recently we needed a new air conditioner. They came out the following workday and promptly installed it. Jacob and Chuck were the installers, they were very informative as to the work they were doing. They cleaned up after the work was completed. VERY satisfied with everything. We had the BEST experience with Kirkwood Heating & Cooling. Our bill was extremely high for one month of heat, then the weather changed and we turned on our AC only to find that we had no cool air. The technician came out and found that our reversing valve was bad and so were a few other things with our old units. Needless to say, it was time to bite the bullet and replace all of it (AC, heat pump, furnace). Every single person we dealt with was absolutely amazing (Brad, Susan, Brandon, Jacob, Chuck, Doug)!! That is almost impossible and unheard of to find with any business/company. We didn't have to do any cleaning when they left because they covered stuff and cleaned everything up when they were done. All of the work done was so clean/crisp and looks so much better than our old units. We will continue to use Kirkwood Heating & Cooling for all of our future needs for as long as they are in business! If we could give them higher than a 5 then we would! (We also put in an air purifier and love it). Thank you and don't ever quit the business!

Kirkwood Heating & Cooling, what a great group of people! Our first contact was for a service call at 9:30 p.m. on a cold weekend night (Yes, they had 24-hour coverage, the service tech answered the phone!!!). He fixed our 20-year-old furnace. From that service call to the full installation of a new furnace, they were all very friendly and professional. Every person we met made us feel like our issues were their only focus and concern. The owner of the company was our contact! The service man was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The installation crew was prompt, efficient and quick. They knew what they were doing! The installation supervisor didn’t leave until we understood the new furnace and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs!

it was great, they really came here and they explained to me how it was gonna be, the new system is more better. they also gave me a digital thermostat and carbon monoxide alarm system. they make sure to fix everything and they removed the old A/C system and put a new one. they did a great service. and they gave me a warranty for 10 years. i really appreciated them and i'm glad i chose them as my service pro i'm really satisfied with their job. i will recommend them to my friends and family and neighbors.

They have been excellent and I would absolutely recommend them. Very professional, reliable, and they get right to work. The same guys come out year after year and I will continue to use them.

I woke up to a cold house because the blower wasn't blowing. I called Kirkwood as soon as they opened, and the repairmen were there in little over an hour. A panel had burnt out, and because of the replacement cost and the age of the furnace, I decided to get a new furnace. In the meantime, the technician fixed the blower so that even though the blower never stopped, I could get heat. They were very clear in giving me my options, and I did not feel pressured or misled at all. I decided on a new furnace, and they were there the next morning to install it. This is not the first time that I have used Kirkwood, and I have found them consistently polite, professional, and honest!

Without a hitch. The original furnace was purchased from Kirkwood about 30 years ago. We never had any problems with the furnace, it just reached the end of its expected life span (and then some). From our initial call in to the completion of the installation of the new furnace, we have ALWAYS had the most courteous and professional service. Kirkwood is truly dedicated to customer satisfaction and they employ the best informed technicians around. They are honest with their diagnostics and quotes; they have never tried to sell us something costing thousands of dollars when a small part corrected the problem.

Very pleased with my new AC unit. Great service, great people, and cost significantly less than other quote I received.

We knew our A/C was on it's way out and the folks at Kirkwood came out last summer and charged the A/C system and reviewed with us what our options were about replacing the unit. It lasted all last season and we knew this year we were going to have to replace it. Brad came out and gave us an estimate for replacing the unit etc., the estimate was very fairly priced. They knew we had a gathering planned for Memorial Day and charged our old system to get us through that event. They worked with our schedule since we lost power after the tornado for several days and were here when we were ready. Jacob and Chuck did an excellent job and were very professional. We will use Kirkwood when we replace the heating unit and would recommend them to anyone.

I called in the morning when I realized the furnace in our warehouse was not working. A technician from Kirkwood Heating & Cooling was out within a couple of hours to look at it. He found that the thermocouple had gone bad. He had the part in his van and replaced it immediately. He was professional and knowledgeable. The price seemed great! I will be calling them whenever I have heating or cooling issues.

My expectations were exceeded every step of the process. I had found that we had some back-drafting at my hot water heater. I called Kirkwood Heating & Cooling and Brad, the owner, came out the same day. He was thorough in his inspection and came up with the best solution, which was to install a flue liner through the existing "B" vent. They ordered the necessary materials and were out a few days later to perform the installation. The installers were polite, professional, quick, and clean. The price was right in line with what I expected. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

They may not have anyone but the owner left after 10 years.  My rating from back then may not be the same today.  They did not replace our furnace as they were too high.  We went with another company.  I would probably use them again.  They wouldn't be on the top of my list, but I would consider it.
